Adam and Gary our web designers, were very responsive to changes and additions, we required in the development process. Updates were provided in a timely manner, allowing us to meet our critical time frames.

Adam is a phenomenal designer. When going over my design he knew exactly what I wanted and listened to exactly what I was looking for. He hears you out and goes over every thing he’s done after presenting your designs when he does a rough sketch until you ready to finalize your logo. Highly recommend him and his customer service is A1 and he’ll make you enjoy the logo and bring light to the vision of your logo that you dream of wanting

They did a good job. The only problems were with the process and my understanding what they needed and when they needed it. The process should have taken a week maybe 10 days but my schedule and getting things done in a timely fashion didn't jive.

They really know what they’re doing. They made me a really website, a great looking logo. They actually made 5 different ones for me to choose from and I liked all of them with only a little input on my end. I’m not easy to please in that area either. And Now they’re working on integrating all the social media into it. All for a reasonable price

Very good service and designing

We signed a contract in September 2024. I was away on a meditation retreat in October–November, and in December I was asked to leave a review. At that time, we had just started, so my original review was based on very limited information.

We are a small-town couple in our 60s and 80s and have banked with the same institution for over 60 years. This is only the second time we have ever had an issue like this, and we have reported these transactions to our bank for investigation.

Because our accountant handles our bills, we did not see the charges until March 2026. At that point, we found multiple charges over time totaling thousands of dollars.

The charges appeared under different names, including:
“APPMI WEBHSKY APPMIZATION TX”
“APPMI WEBDESIGNAVALON APPMIZATION TX”

We only knowingly worked with Webshusky and were never informed of any connection to Web Design Avalon.

The appearance of charges under different merchant names on our credit card, without clear disclosure, was unexpected and contributed to our decision to escalate this matter.

We have filed reports with FTC (200166061), CFPB (260404-30910157), and IC3 (c01341-da67c64afe994531560b6ddf18), as well as law enforcement in multiple jurisdictions. These reports are currently under review.

Today, May 13, 2026, we received official notice from the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) that they were unable to send our complaint to the company for response because the company was either not on their complaint system or could not be properly identified or routed through their process.

This means that even a federal consumer protection agency faced difficulty locating or verifying the responsible company/entities associated with Webshusky / Web Design Avalon.

For consumers, this raises serious concerns regarding merchant traceability, transparency, and accountability.

We were also unable to verify the business address (39899 Balentine Dr, Newark, CA) or confirm licensing records in California or Texas based on available information.

We have requested DNS access several times. On April 17, 2026, we received a response saying it would be provided, but no timeline was given.

Important lesson: always independently verify merchant names, billing descriptors, legal registrations, physical business locations, invoices, and maintain direct control over your domain, hosting, and financial systems.

We also want others to know that even if fraudulent or questionable charges are over a year old, it is still important to file disputes, report to regulatory agencies, and continue pursuing investigations. In our case, despite the age of some charges, our bank continues to actively review disputes as new evidence and complaint documentation emerge.

Do not assume it is too late to report suspicious activity.

I am updating my earlier review to reflect our experience based on the information we later discovered, with the hope of helping protect other consumers, small businesses, seniors, and first-time website customers from similar financial and emotional hardship.

They did an excellent job building my website and taking care of everything thing for me. I don’t know the first thing about technology since I didn’t grow up with a cellphone and an ipad connected to me so I didn’t even bother with trying to build my own. It was an easy process and came better than I expected and fast.
