Ordered latest Tom Grennan vinyl album special edition, What records were the best price. A few negative reviews on here which did make me think twice but nevertheless I had no need for concern as delivery was very quick and the record I wanted at a great price. Great service, will use again, thanks guys 👍.

Failed to deliver a pre-order that had been paid for a couple of months beforehand.

Asked for update, prompt reply advising it would be chased up. After a week I had heard nothing, cancelled the order and also and second order for three albums that was over 28 days old.

15 days for refund on both orders from a debit card after querying length of time.

I prefer to buy from independent record dealers but:

1. If you can't timeously fulfill a pre order for a limited album, even after a query, then you have an issue.

2. If you don't have it in stock and have your customer wait over 28 days then you shouldn't be attempting to sell it.

I note the three albums I attempted to purchase are now showing out of stock.

I note the pre order is still showing in stock and I will be purchasing it from another dealer.

Purchased Thr Rolling Stones coloured vinyl boxset from Whatrecords. Excellent service, the best price on the net, and next day delivery despite only ordering late afternoon. Well packaged too. Highly recommended and will now be my first port of call when buying records online. .

Best price I found for a very expensive box set.
I was a bit worried as the price was so good but I needn't be. Very fast despatch via dpd and all was great.
No free delivery but didn't mind as the original price was so good.

Hesitated to buy from a company I wasn't familiar for such a big purchase - Rolling Stones in Mono boxed set - but took the plunge and it paid off. Loads cheaper than other outlets and arrived the next day, well packaged and in perfect sealed condition.

Ordered vinyl with no delivery date when I asked for it they told me it weren’t in stock no more instead of offering a refund to me they instead they just told me they didn’t have it in stock and said they don’t know when I will get it I ordered on a Tuesday for it to turn up on Father’s Day

No updates at all from what records after them taking money immediately from me. . Asked why and they said they would chase it up. No response to the supposed chasing up at all and now ignoring all my chasing emails. Wish I had read the reviews before ordering. Never again. Order number is 266333

Don’t say you have vinyl in stock that you don’t. I always prefer to buy off independent record companies. Your behaviour lets everyone down. You gave me the refund as you didn’t have the vinyl you pretended you had. It’s that simple.

After placing my order for two records (very reasonably priced) I checked past reviews here, and feared that I might have a bad experience. I am delighted to say that my experience was fantastic! Despite the company website acting up (my order didn’t show up under my account, but luckily I had an order reference), Tim was highly responsive to my messages, despatched the items quickly, and they arrived well-packaged, brand new sealed and exactly as described. Thank you very much for an A+ transaction. Recommended.

I was unsure about ordering from What records because of the negative reviews but I have had an excellent service. I rang and spoke to Tim asking if he had a certain lp in stock and he said he would check. Within a few minutes Tim called me back confirming this was in stock. After a pleasant chat with Tim I ordered the lp online and received next day sealed and with excellent packaging. I would definitely recommend What records and buy from again. If in doubt call first. Thankyou Tim!

1st order with this company and new release which arrived on my doorstep the actual day of release. Hopefully the next part of my order will arrive in a similar vein.

The replies from whatrecords alone on here is SHOCKING

you can see they are replying to their customers in a public place with tracking codes AND THEIR HOME ADDRESS. This is personal information and should not be shared in such a public place.

Ordered a Vinyl quite awhile ago, it says pending on the order but has stayed like that since I bought it! Got in contact and they said they would chase it up so I don't know if they have or haven't but its made NO DIFFERENCE!!!! I'm not sure whether they are stalling because they don't have the vinyl in stock but its unacceptable! I would like my vinyl as soon as possible please, if you actually have the vinyl in stock!!!!!!

Ordered a record 20 days ago still hasn't shipped emailed the company not heard back will be waiting 10 more days to file a dispute with my bank and get my money back
Also after ordering reading so many peoples comments on their Instagram and Google reviews. It seems the store is still online but not fulfilling people's orders
So they have replied and lied as I didn't order on the 26th December and I never gave them my order number Tim. I'll be getting the bank involved now as it's now classed as fraud

Only 19 days since ordering two records ordered, five emails three phone calls, Tim busy, unable to post avoid. Claims to have records in stock, but when you ring now out of stock.
