Note WiFi hire ends at 1pm on the last day of your hire - this was not made clear before purchasing so we were without wifi for half a day.

Additionally I had to chase the tracking number for the delivery, and it assumed I had not posted the device back (they tried to make me pay a late fee) instead of asking me for the return tracking number.

Difficult to give a single score, so I’ll split into a few categories:

1) Customer service 5/5: rapid delivery and rapid return of deposit. Very good.
2) WiFi coverage 0/5: not necessarily the suppliers fault, but we had no coverage at all in our home. My phone works (EE) very well, but the service provider for this device was Three - who had woeful coverage in my area.
2) WiFi router 2/5: old and battered. But do not know if it is an effective router as the coverage from Three was awful.

Unfortunately I wasted £50 for a weeks service. Ensure Three has good coverage in your area before selecting this supplier.

Our plusnet was down for 7+ days due to a storm and as a live streamer who rely not only on a constant connection but a really strong bandwidth, I was pushed to do some urgent research. I was not disappointed! These guys got me a 5g router out same day and my live streaming (even through OBS) was well supported all week! The value of their service far outweighed the cost! Easy return with a label pre printed when I was back on line. My business never missed a beat! 5/5* thank you!

I wrote an earlier review and the company replied. They used the same 2 excuses as they did with me in my dealings with them. The first excuse is that it's related to the towers connection.
I know that those around me had no trouble with their devices on the same network. I was also in 3 different locations and find it hard to believe that over 4 days in 3 locations I encountered tower issues.
The second excuse is that I did not contact them within the hire period with issues. - How can I contact them where there is no phone number provided and I have no service?
The correct way to have handled this was to have looked into the usage on the device, see that it was barely used, and refund the money.
Instead I received the same repeated stock replies to my inquiries. If you look at the 1 star reviews, you'll see the same repeated themes, It has been looked into, bandwidth and tower issues, did not contact during hire period.
I do not think it's unreasonable to request a refund on a product that did not live up to the advertised claim.

Great service if you need WiFi asap or are moving house. Highly recommended and super easy to return.

Device arrived promptly and worked well, allowing me to continue working from home whilst waiting for permanent internet installation. Easy to send back, no issues with obtaining the refund of the hire deposit. Price is comparable to peer services.

Easy to set up and worked a treat during house move before chosen provider installed.

Efficient and seamless service from start to end! Device arrived a day early (although I was not charged for this) and I popped in back in a letter box using the provided label and received my refundable deposit asap. Great wifi service during the time it was used. Would definitely use again and recommend to anyone!!

Getting and returning the wifi pack was easy. The quality of the wifi signal was quite good, much better than I initially expected.

I ordered 4 WiFi for our event. Our event started on 12 September and we had to use devices on 12 September, my order was starting on 12 September. But they delivered devices on 13 September around 1300 (middle of day). They don’t refund, we couldn’t use devices on the day, it’s not acceptable and ethics.

Really pleased with this! We had just moved into a new home and Virgin Media couldn't come out to install for 2 weeks, and I work from home so it was a big issue! My parcel arrived next day and I was instantly connected with decent speeds considering the area I live in, with no disruption to the service the whole time - just nice steady speeds. Highly recommended!

I'm yet to receive my delivery (due on 03/09/24. Royal Mail have tracked it as delivered on 04/09, however there has been no delivery to my address and no card left advising of an alternative place.

I've tried to get someone from WIFI Hire to help me, however the only response I get from them is a screen shot of the tracking information and a reiteration that the parcel was delivered. There has been zero advice on what I should do to resolve the problem, or ownership from WIFI Hire to help me in getting the service I have already paid for.

We needed this as EE had let me down and we were transferring to Vodafone. No problems hiring, lots of help from the great guys in customer service! I would recommend for short time hiring!

Ordering online from the US was easy. My device was waiting for me when I arrived at my Manchester hotel and it worked perfectly for the whole time I had it. Returning it was also quite simple. I have had poorer experiences with other Wifi rentals on the continent, so I was very pleased with this service.

Excellent service and highly recommend! I borrowed a hub for 7 days and extended 2 additional days. For a short-term solution it worked perfectly. I plugged it in, near a window, and the hub offered fast wifi for work calls and streaming. Brilliant service and helped us out. Would use again.

Cheap, fast delivery, does what it says however does struggle if trying to use a couple of devices at the same time.
