I was really positively surprised by the pocket WiFi we rented. It worked perfectly throughout our trip in the Dominican Republic. Delivery was very fast — within just two days. Philippe provided the best support via email and was very helpful. Overall, a great experience, and I would definitely rent from them again anytime.

On an Interrail trip in Switzerland, a good internet connection was necessary to generate tickets for journeys. Outside areas that provide wifi, you're dependent on your phone's Internet connection. Did my phone provider cover Switzerland? No. It covered all the EU plus all France overseas territories but not Switzerland (its not in the EU). Would my phone take an e-sim? No. So my only option was the wifio, and it worked a treat. Excellent cover everywhere and it made generating train tickets so much easier. It's not expensive to hire and you can have it delivered to your hotel. It's the size of a mobile phone, so it fits easily into your bag or pocket. You just need to charge its battery regularly It comes packaged with a charger and cable and a pre paid envelope to post it back at the end of your trip. Worth its weight in gold! I thoroughly recommend.

Second time we’ve used wifio whilst travelling in Switzerland. This time we opted for the eSIM as we only had a few days. Easy to install and activate. Worked everywhere we went around Geneva, Lausanne and montreaux. Able to share with wife with no issues. Definitely use again.

At first, after completing the transaction for my eSIM and going through the identification process, I didn't receive the QR code... but when I contacted customer service via chat, everything was sorted out in a few minutes, and now the internet works perfectly and is super fast (it's hard to ask for better!). I used Wifio during my solo travels across Switzerland (Zurich, Interlaken, Jungfrau, Grindelwald, Zermatt, Geneva, Charmey) and overall had a great experience. The purchase process was smooth, and the instructions for collection and return were clear and easy to follow. I confirmed via live chat that I could return the device through a Swiss Post mailbox, and the team was responsive and helpful.

I relied heavily on Google Maps throughout the trip and had a consistently reliable connection—even in more remote areas. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to connect my PS Portal to Wifio, which was one of the main reasons I chose the service. I could only get it working on hotel Wi-Fi. That was a small disappointment, but aside from that, everything else worked perfectly. I’d still consider using Wifio again for future travel.

Bought 3 eSIM's for 4 days. Really easy to install and use. Price was fair and coverage great, with the few exceptions being train tunnels and at +2000m on Mt. Pilatus. Great experience overall, would use it again.

Worked well where coverage was present. Of course one should not expect good coverage everywhere when wondering away from civilization in mountains. It was fine. Got 10% discount, because I used a link to wifio from some travel guide website.
