I’ve followed your journey on Instagram for years and you do up the most amazing house boats and have done a few vans i remember as well - you and the people you work with, really are talented!
This competition is an amazing opportunity for someone to be in with a shot of winning a boat while giving to a really worthwhile cause! Can’t wait to see the outcome!

The best boat competition you’ll ever find
Really genuine people, and customer service is 11/10! I will always support them as they also give a portion of the profits to help improve the UK rivers, which no one else does. So even if I don’t ever win a competition, my contribution will have a small but positive impact in the planet. Thank you WildRipple for doing this! ♥️

I find this company’s practices questionable and doubt they’ll last. Extending competitions when tickets aren’t selling and hiding the ticket counter feel greedy and non-transparent. For instance, they’re selling tickets for a transit van at £8 each, aiming to sell 20,000 tickets – a potential £160,000 payout for a van worth at most £50,000-£60,000. The odds aren’t as good as they claim, and the pricing is misleading. I won’t be using them again.

Thank you for your feedback. To clarify, we extended our first competition once to give participants the best possible chance to win the prize or receive a higher cash alternative. This was done in good faith, not out of greed, and has not been repeated. We do not hide ticket counters—entrant details are published, and updates are available upon request. That said, we’ll certainly consider adding a visible ticket counter in future competitions to improve transparency.
Regarding your review, we could not locate any order linked to your name. When asked for more information, no response was provided. We also noticed a suspicious pattern, as your review was posted shortly after another negative review, now linked to a competitor. We are investigating this and hope there’s no connection.
Our process is transparent, and participation is entirely optional. We have no record of you contacting us via email, but you’re always welcome to do so at hello@wildripple.org. Your suggestions are appreciated, and we remain committed to improving our service for all.

This is a new competition company and…
This appears to be a new competition company. There’s little transparency on the quantity of tickets sold (a tickets sold counter would be useful for participants), draws have been extended, when I’ve emailed requesting further information I’ve received no reply. It’s highly unlikely a boat prize will ever be offered as they offer a lower value cash alternative and few tickets have been sold. So I’m paying £10 a ticket for the chance to win a boat but what I’m actually getting is the chance to win a very low value cash prize.

We completely understand your suggestion about adding a ticket counter and agree that this could provide participants with more transparency. We currently publish all entrants so people can see who has entered and we’re actively working on ways to enhance this feature for future competitions.
As a new company, this is our debut competition, and while we did extend the draw date, we made sure to communicate this with all participants beforehand and offered refunds to anyone who wasn’t comfortable with the change. We recognise this isn’t ideal, but our goal was to ensure that every entrant had the best possible chance to win the main prize or the highest possible cash alternative. It seems there might be a misunderstanding in your review, as this is the only time we’ve extended a draw.
At the core of what we do is a strong commitment to supporting charity and our waterways. We truly value your input, as it helps us improve and grow.

A total no brainer
I came across Wild Ripple recently and honestly haven’t seen a better concept in a long time. The chance to win the most beautiful house boat whilst also having done a good deed by supporting such an important and relevant cause… it’s a no brainer.

Such a fabulous concept! I love that 10% of the profits will go towards UK waterways and that there are amazing prizes.
I entered the Wild Ripple competition on socials and won two free tickets to the big prize draw for their beautiful boat (fingers crossed!!!)
