Worst experience of my life
Booked my Astra in the workshop for a diagnostic.
The issue with my vehicle was engine management light illuminated after travelling a short distance. I was informed they would diagnose the issue and inform me of any work required. I authorised the extra work required and paid for it. Total bill £380.52. After travelling a short distance the same fault occurred. After contact with them l booked the vehicle in again.
I was informed of different issue with vehicle which was new coil pack and plug’s recommended. I told them I had just fitted new coil pack and plug’s within the last 2 months. They would not guarantee the further work nor refund me for the initial work that had not solved the problem. Wilson and Co would not guarantee the further work even after fitting a genuine Vauxhall coil pack and plugs. Let readers be the judge. After reading the reply from Wilson&Co I feel compelled to add to my review. Why will a company not guarantee work done by them using genuine parts from their own stores. ? A Main Dealer with supposedly the best diagnostic equipment, Vauxhall trained technicians, just guessing what a solution might be is just not good enough. I collected my car after the second visit to Wilson and Co. The EML still illuminated. I cancelled the fault code on my return home. I have NOT fitted new coil pack and plugs. My vehicle has completed many miles of travel and the issue has not returned. So Who Knows! Definitely not Wilson and Co.

We appreciate your feedback and are more than happy to arrange a discussion to assist.
The initial diagnostic that was carried out indicated the fault for which the work was agreed and carried out - this was the fuel tank vent valve. This was required. However your further fault was related to the coil pack and plugs. You advised that you had previously had non-genuine parts fitted. As discussed at the time, we would advise you return to the supplier of these to replace as they could be faulty. We did not supply these. We did also advise that we have seen this situation before and do recommend that a genuine coil pack and plugs are fitted. We are unsure what has been said to make you feel that our work is not under guarantee.
Our work - parts and labour - does have a 12 month guarantee.

The experience at Wilson & Co Grimsby was fantastic because the lady I dealt with, Tracy Clement was extremely helpful and very friendly. She was very knowledgeable about everything and went out her way to help me with purchasing my new car. I was very satisfied with the service she provided me and would definitely recommend Wilson and Co.

Wilson & Co Bolton were great because nothing is ever too much trouble. I was contacted by Raymon to refinance my vehicle. I was continuously communicated with throughout the process, everything was double checked with me and I was informed of my choices before making my decision. Offered me test drive a couple of vehicles. Explained the process clearly. Arranged delivery of my new car for a mutually convenient time. Was very polite and friendly. Amir was good to deal with described the car as it was sent us a video of the car great communication had the car ready for us gleaming fresh valley and petrol in the tank. Then when we got home he phoned to check everything was ok and we were happy with the car.

No useful responses once sale completed
Unfortunately "Jason, Head Of Business here at Wilson and Co in Scunthorpe" didn't return any of my calls/messages or "work tirelessly" about the 20K+ Merc I bought from the company.
I'm having to work my way through the issues with my new car locally with poor EV battery life and defunctive petrol filler cap being significant problems as no help from the seller. No proper response from Wilson so never, ever again. If you don't answer your phone or respond to your customers' emails then you're NOT serving your customers.
