I found the staff helpful and supportive. I needed extra storage last minute on the day and they kindly accommodated this and offered me the best pricing options. I would highly recommend as I know they are professional and supportive.

Avoid.
Despite giving 3 weeks notice I would be vacating - they still make you pay the full month - with the ‘promise’ any unused days will be refunded.
I am still waiting for that refund that was processed on the 2nd May - and the store have no idea where is it or when it will be refunded.
Opening times are also really bad.
Chloe is very pleasant but massively let down by the store manager, who has a degree in copy and paste. There is a clear lack of any internal procesess or communication.

Thank you for your feedback, and we’re sorry for the frustration caused.
As part of the move-out process, access to the account portal was sent to you yesterday, followed by your PIN this morning. Once this setup is complete, refunds are typically issued the same day or the following working day.
We would also like to clarify that refunds are processed centrally, not at store level. The store team has been actively following this up with our accounts department to support you and keep things moving.
There was a slight delay due to the recent bank holiday, and while we always aim to process refunds as quickly as possible, our standard timeframe is within 14 working days — which your case is currently within.
We appreciate your patience and your kind words about Chloe, and we apologise again for any inconvenience caused.

Extremely smooth process downsizing from 100ft to 75ft. Very claer easy process. As long as you keep in communication with the team, you will never lose your unit. James Byrne, the manager of the Bracknell branch has been extremely helpful and accommodating, making the transfer very effortless.
Would highly recommend Bracknell Access Self Storage and James Byrne.

Friendly staff.
Unable to access storage units after 6pm which isn’t helpful.
Seems to be a charge for everything including accessing the unit you are paying for after hours.

When I did the agreement i asked if they were open late and was told yes only to find they closed at 5pm on a Saturday the day I was moving so had to have removals people back and cost another £360 for that extra half day !! Thanks Access...

We are sorry to hear about the additional cost you incurred. However, we would like to clarify that our Saturday closing time of 5pm is clearly displayed online and in store, and the team have confirmed that access hours were explained during your move in.
We are always transparent about our access limitations, as these form part of how we are able to offer competitive rates while maintaining high levels of security for all customers. Extended access is not automatically applied to all units and must be arranged in advance where available.
We understand that moving days can be stressful, but the access hours in place were communicated and are consistently applied to ensure fairness and security across the site.

When 1800hrs came the doors were shut leaving about another 30 mins of my household goods in the truck which then had to make a return visit the next day

We are pleased to hear that overall access to your unit was easy, however we are sorry for the frustration caused at the end of the day.
Our records show that the move in began at 2pm, which provided four hours within staffed access time. Unfortunately, as closing time approached, the removal team had not completed unloading. For security and insurance reasons, we are unable to keep the store open beyond closing time, as this is in place to protect all customers’ belongings on site, and certainly not without advanced notice.
We understand it was inconvenient to return the following day, but our team must adhere to closing procedures to ensure the safety and security of the facility for everyone.

Super helpful team and a great move in experience. The team could not have been more accommodating and helpful for our move in. The office facilities are great and everyone just seems really friendly. We'd looked for ages for somewhere with offices and storage on the same site and so pleased we've found this. Very reasonable prices as well.
