Acetek was formed back in 2001 suppling dusk to dawn switches to outdoor advertisers & Security compaines. We develop our range and a website www.acetek.co.uk so our products were availiable to all with our simple online store. Acetek operated solely in the outdoor signage industry designing new optical and electronic ideas from 2001 to approximately 2010 after which time we decided to change our business direction. Having developed a range of professional electronic photocells energy saving dusk to dawn light sensitive sensor switches in a range of different voltages we found great interest from all industries. These included security, home & garden, solar, marine, car and caravaning and of course signage. In addition to these photocells we decided to stock a range of accessories often need to install them. After working with security companies for a time we were asked to develop visual deterrents flashing LED for external alarm boxes both battery and power type variations for which we have seen sales grow and grow. The Acetek site brings many of these security products and photocells to our customers using a simple on-line ordering process.

Great customer service and a great range of products
I am in Ireland and my parcel arrived very quickly considering the current delays with covid. I was sent emails to let me know the status of my parcel. Des also knew what we were doing so added some extra terminals free of charge. In previous years I have purchased other items and never have been disappointed with either the item or the service provided. I am a very happy customer and gladly advise anyone to shop here. Fantastic customer service and I will be a returning customer.

I have just fitted a Hexled A with a 12volt adaptor into a dummy box. The resulting light is brighter & the pulsing effect looks better than many of the professionally fitted alarms on nearby houses.

You may be interested to know the idea originated from someone asking Acetek for a model light-house-light that would effectively look like it was turning around. Soon after this we realised the look of a scanning light for our alarms boxes and the added strobe. Have a great day Des Acetek.

As no Royal Mail we asked for DHL service. Des quickly and efficiently organised it and the perfect goods arrived on time today all the way to Bermuda within a few days of ordering.

Flashing LED's for an ADT alarm box.
After searching the internet for a reliable flashing unit to fit my ADT alarm box, because ADT wanted to charge a ridiculous amount to update by box, I came across Acetek.co.uk. They supplied the T-Bar unit to fit an ADT alarm box in 2 days, which also comes packaged small enough to fit through a letter box. It was easy to fit using their video on Youtube. Since fitting, the twin blue flashing led's were just what i was looking for, nice and bright. I've passed on your details to a neighbour after being impressed with my set up. Many thanks for a great product and helping me by email when needed.
