I hope they can do better
The implementation process has been stressful and expectations set have been not been accomplished. We have had last minute cancellations for large group calls costing us time and money. Can only hope this process improves.

Some inefficiencies.
The platform is very robust and relatively easy to navigate around. Appears great for PM but is a bit cumbersome for EHR. Options for the provider to simply open a chart from scheduler require an inordinate amount of cursor place and clicks. That being said once to the fields for notation drop down and auto oad reptetive templates is great.
The interaction with prescription writing is wrought with redundancies and unnecessary cursor place and click steps that again is very cumbersome and problematic from an efficiency approach. In my practice too much is needed repetition and there is no method to stream line the procedures of prescription writing.
I tried to get in touch with someone…
I tried to get in touch with someone who could help improve our EHR templates. Over 1 month until a reply, which was then sent to another person. Who then sent me to another person. My issue is still not resolved. This is greatly affecting our data collection as now it must be done manually. Extremely frustrating doing manual counts with the technology available in 2022.

Advancemd is far from Advance
Advancemd is far from Advance. They do not have good trainers. The trainers didn't even understand the system. And definitely don't contact help desk cause they know even less. I never got my old patients records sent to their system because the person who should do it just didn't kept asking the same questions we answered from the beginning of service for over 5 months. Then when I attempted to cancel no one responded to my emails then when they did it was 10 days after I sent the email when I would have put me at the end of the month I canceled. So because they waited to respond they decided to charge me another month of service. I tried speaking to Two lower level managers who did nothing but ignore emails or just didn't listen. Their names Jordan Copeland and Caleb Leonard. Don't expect anything but unprofessional behavior. I called corporate and to speak to upper management , well let's just say I'm still waiting for a return call. I asked them to not charge our office credit card I would pay a different method for my final payment they definitely charged it so don't expect your privacy or bank account to be respected.

Great customer service. Cost and Reporting not good.
Great customer serivce.
To expensive for Advanced Insight when you have a CBO account.
Too expensive on Telehealth when you have a group account and you have to pay for all providers even if most do not not need it.
Reporting is taking a long time to run. Many times it does not run. We have created tickets for it and everytime we get asked to give more information. There is no information .. Nothing comes up.
Not a fan of Open Edge.

It has been a not so good experience…
It has been a not so good experience with this software. There have been multiple issues and staff seem to be lost. It takes weeks to get things resolved and some issues are just left unresolved. This has affected some of our patients and definitely not pleased.

Constant issue
There is poor communication. I have had very little guidance, education, and information on the process and fees. I taught myself most of the information prior to finding out I had 21 hours of training available. Every little item is a charge. Each item is needed to run a practice; therefore, the base cost is completely null due to all the extras that are needed to run the practice properly. It is hard to budget when the price is never the same. The date this all started was August 1, 2022.

My solo practice has been using…Jose-Miguel is awesome. Let me have him for my private office.
My solo practice has been using AdvancedMD RCM for almost 3 years now, and each year it has improved. At least a good part of that is that I've learned their software better. But, no matter what the case may be, our account manager tackles it and takes a lot of the stress away. Jose-Miguel is very responsive, very involved, very thorough, and he takes a lot of the stress and worry away. He and I have very open comms and that makes all the difference in the world. I almost consider Jose-Miguel to be part of my office staff, and I wish he was.
If there is ever an urgent matter, Client Services has always been very helpful. They have always been friendly, courteous, respectful, and have just about always fixed any problem. When they could not at that moment, they got back to me pretty quickly.

Our small practice has used AdvancedMd for two years the software can do amazing things if you choose to utilize all the bells and whistles. Whenever I have a question, they are reachable with little to no wait time. They usually can solve my issues in a matter of minutes with friendly customer service. I also use their RCM team and our team leader Jose- Miguel stays on top of my account. I am very pleased with our decision to use AdvancedMD and I would recommend them to any practice

AdvancedMD is by far the #1 EMR/EHR software used in the medical industry.
First, they are extremely knowledgeable, so friendly and helpful. Second, when I started my job the person who was supposed to train me had to have surgery on my second day and has not come back yet and this was first week of November. As you know a lot goes into billing and every EMR/EHR is different, and every practice is different. If I had not been able to call AdvancedMD for help, I doubt I would still have a job. I literally call them for every question I have (were talking first name basis here) and they are always amazing, always happy to help me. I am grateful for them honestly.
Third, I have been in the medical field for 20 years and AdvancedMD is by far my favorite EMR/EHR software that I have used as well as, the easiest to navigate. Big fan of AdvancedMD and the people they employee!

There is a ton of assignments that are overwhelming and easily getting lost . Too many special nuisances with completing documents within the Advanced MD system settings.

Would Not Recommend
Advanced MD has a lot of potential as a software. But the tech support and training offered is less than minimum, it is nonexistent. The training we did receive was lack luster, and the questions I had, I was always told, we will get back to you. And no one did. You guys need to improve your roll out and training techniques. Its been awful.
