Hidden costs for luggage and all tickets are non refundable
When I booked the ticket it was not mentioned that it is luggage only booking. After booking within few minutes they called me to sell the luggage quantity which I can add with extra money. This is the main trick they play, they show cheap tickets and have hidden costs to add extra luggage. They will not return as they mentioned in the tems and condition (sepeate page) that it is non-refundable ticket. SO please be careful before purchasing tickets with them.

This company is a scam operation. They jumped on my CC while booking a room with Expedia. When I talked to an agent, he said for me to take it up with my CC company. I am reporting this company to the BBB. BEWARE!!!

I would give a zero if that was an option. Scam company, pretended to be Royal Caribbean customer service reservation. I was told to rebook to full price to receive the senior citizen and FL resident discounts. I was scammed out $5,268.22. My cruise have not been paid and the refund of 3134.11 was never refunded. That has been going on for 3months despite contacting them multiple times requesting full refund. Agent, Joseph Murphy, who booked my reservation never calls back or respond to my calls.
An absolute scam
An absolute scam. I inadvertently put my wife’s maiden name on an American Airlines plane ticket and did not notice until we printed the boarding pass. Googled American Airlines to get the phone number and stupidly dialed the first sponsored ad that said American Airlines. Got airfares.com. Spoke with Jameson who said they would have to rebook the ticket to change the name and charged my credit card $600. He said that American Airlines would be sending me a confirmation number later in the day. Never got it so called American Airlines. They said the only thing they did was split her off the original ticket with a new record locator still under her maiden name. Also, telling me name changes are free. After hours on the with Orbitz and American (it was around Christmas) they changed the name free of charge. Fortunately, Discover credited our account for non receipt of services.

I purchased air Maroc ticket during the covid period( Dec 2020) and made numerous call for them to help me get a refund from the canceled flight but was being manipulated and lied to every time. Please avoid at all cost cos they don't care about you.

This is a scam site and if anyone is reading this please do not accept any of their services. I wanted a Cancellation done for my ticket and these guys were super responsive till they got the money from me and as soon as they received their money, they stopped responding to my calls or emails. It's been more than 2 months now and I still am not able to get in touch with them because as soon as you call them and tell your name and issue, they hang up and never respond. Kindly do not call them or accept any service until they are legally charged of the scam.

I bought a roundtrip flight from jfk to rio scheduled for august 2020. Due to covid and government restrictions the flights were canceled of course. Airfare.com tried to SCAM me out of $350 for a change fee when the flights were cancelled due to the restrictions in place. I contacted the airline directly who had no change fee due to the covid situation. I was able to reschedule directly with the airline. Pleaseeee stay away from Airfare.com they are a scam and should not be in business. Very unethical company and SCAM artists.

DO NOT USE THIS TRAVEL AGENT. We purchased 4 flights from the US to the UK in December 2019 (before COVID-19). After several months of the corona virus, the airline (Virgin Atlantic) cancelled the transatlantic flights, and when we asked airfare.com to help process a refund or change of flights, they demanded an additional $1700 in fees ($425.00 per person!) They refused to provide any help whatsoever unless we paid this amount. Virgin would not help either with the refund saying we had to go back through the agent. I CANNOT RECOMMEND STRONGLY ENOUGH THAT YOU DO NOT USE THIS TRAVEL AGENT.

We purchase 2 round trip tickets from airfare.com. We also purchase the insurance at the same time. We had a medical emergency and had to change the departure date of one of the tickets, I called the customer service multiple times, no one did absolutely anything to help. The customer service agents were always rude, all they could offer was to change the tickets for another one 30 days away. They said there was no tickets available for a sooner date, that was a lie, I was looking at their website while speaking with the representative. I’ll never do business with them again. Customers be aware, they are awful.

Oh, heavens! What a horrible experience! I booked international flights for two on Friday for $3,600+. I receive all of the confirmation emails that my payment is processing, yadda yadda. Everything seems like a go. No prob.
Come Monday. I work all day (as many folks do) and come home to check my personal email. I find 13 emails (that looked super spammy btw) saying I need to verify my identity as the cardholder (ok, sure) and that I had until 5 p.m. to do so. 5 p.m.! They expected me, with no warning (and 3 days after I purchase tickets) to reply to them between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.? What?
So, at 5, they emailed saying my flight was cancelled entirely.
"Because your credit card was not verified within the 8 hour time limit,
your reservation has been cancelled and a refund has been processed back to your account." Seriously? I did have multiple unknown calls (to their credit) but no voicemails, so how would I know it was them? (Also, I'm at work, ya know... working and busy.)
So, I call customer support. After waiting for 10 min and getting cut off, I call again. Another 10 min later, they answer and tell me my flights are canceled, there's nothing I can do, and that my money will be refunded in up to 7 business days. Also, I would fire the people I spoke with if I managed them. But honestly, I feel bad for them because they work for such a shady company. Their lives must be miserable.
So now, I'm less than a month out from an international flight. I won't have my $3,600+ in my bank account for up to 9 days (including the weekend), and the costs of flights are already skyrocketing.
In summary, this experience was horrific. I'm frustrated that my purchase through Kayak.com didn't even (at least clearly) indicate that I would be going through this third party (airfare.com), and I'm obviously infuriated that they would cancel such a huge time-sensitive purchase on a work day during daytime hours. Annnd then give me such inappropriate sass when I tried to rebook.

no lower airfare price match guarantee in contrary to their ad.
I talked to the agent at Airfare.com around 12:30 am on Nov 23rd requesting the refund for the price difference for the same route and dates of my trip from BWI-ICN round trip I found at a lower price at cheapfareguru.com after I purchased my ticket with airfare.com. The price difference was $74.44.
However I was told by the agent that airfare.com website does not offer the refund on the price difference in contrary to the advertisement on their website, and he can not check the lower rates on any other websites so refund is not possible. Also, I was told that I have to make a new reservation with cheapfareguru.com and come back to cancel my reservation.
I wonder whether it is a false advertisement to refund the difference if we find lower rates on any other website. If so, it needs to be fixed.
Poor Experience, rude staff.
We (family of 5) booked a trip on Air France, using Airfare.com website. At one point, a glitch, believed to be in the Air France booking system, led to the cancellation of our return flight, without notifying us. We discovered the error by chance, about 2 weeks prior to the departure date.
When I called Airfare agency asking for help and support, I got an agent, with a Middle Eastern accent, who was the most unhelpful, rude, and impolite person I have ever spoken with, in my entire life. I did not think that a human being as disrespectful as this man may exist on earth. I sent a complaint by e-mail, with no answers or apologies.
I strongly recommend avoiding any businesses with this company (Airfrare.com) at all times.
Slightly lower price does not compensate for rude & inadequate service
This is a legitimate business. The flight I booked was ticketed and I took the flight. I do not however recommend this website despite the slightly lower price I paid.
I had a small problem with my booking. The reservation confirmation showed the correct spelling of a passenger name but the ticket showed an extra letter. Given the confirmation showed the correct spelling I assume the error was made by airfare.com so I called them. They wouldn't help and I bounced back and forth between airfare.com and the airline. At one point I was in a meeting at work and received 12 calls within 2 minutes. I didn't know who they were from so ended the meeting assuming it was an emergency. Turns out it was airfare.com and when I called back I was shouted at, told everything was my fault and I would have to pay penalties. The agent was easily the rudest customer service representative I have ever encountered, eventually I hung up on him to avoid further abuse. Airfare.com never adequately addressed my issue but it was minir so wasn't a problem when checking in. I will not use this company again because of their attitude to customers.
