I would recommend AJ movers and use them again if I have other moving needs. We had to move house in the middle of Covid lockdown, and the previous mover we had arranged backed out on us at the last minute due to the lockdown and other committments he had to move his own warehouse (for some reason). I got a quote from AJ on shiply. Movers arrived right on time (in fact a little early) and went straight to work. They packed their van very well and got way more in than I would have ever expected. This helped to reduce the amount of trips between the two houses they would need to make. We had a lot of large and heavy pieces, tight staircases to negotiate, and cramped rooms as we had already moved a lot of boxes ourselves. In hindsight, I would have just let them move everything and it would have been easier had I had more time to plan the last minute change of plans. Movers were polite and did everything I asked, even with a few changes as we went along. Would highly recommend.

I got ajmovers to carry out a move from italy to england and they were excellent. Wouldnt hesitate to reccomend. The communication was quick and very efficient and the guys that loaded and unloaded the van were very polite, friendly and helpful. I honestly can't recommend enough and I would use again and again. Very pleased with AJMovers. They moved our venerable 1920s upright piano from Sheffield to Portugal at a reasonable price, safely and satisfactorily. The movers were polite and professional; they used exactly the right equipment, and they phoned to alert us before collection and delivery. The arrangements were made by txt; communication was good; uncertainties, which are surely inevitable, quickly clarified. I 'm happy to recommend them.

I had asked this company to move my upright piano from Germany to England. I was offered a competitive quote, which I found very reasonable given the logistics involved. My only slight quibble would be that there appeared to have been some lack of communication between Andy and the crew collecting the piano, as they were surprised to learn there would be 5 steps in Germany, which I had mentioned to Andy during our communication via Shiply and expected to be relayed to them. When I met the crew in England, they were polite and handled my piano with great care. As I was unable to receive my piano straight away, I was also offered free storage, which then enabled a swift move once I was ready. It’s also worth mentioning that the crew were with the exception of one person Covid compliant and wore face masks. I would have also preferred for the final payment to be arranged sooner, as I was left with having to sort it out with the crew on site, waiting for confirmation that I had in fact paid the balance.

I had to remove my belongings from London and delivered to 2 stops in Switzerland and one in Italy.
I had booked via Anyvan and got a competitive quote from Andy. All my goods in one van doing the 3 stops, a bliss! Anyvan people were very helpful and it was booked quickly. My contact with Andy came mostly from my side via e-mail and text, during these exchanges I found out that they do not take care of parking permit however do take care of the customs forms. But no payment terms or conditions were given at any time.
The move due to Covid was stressful as I could not be on location in London. But the crew called at the agreed time and showed up on time. On the agreed moving day, there was some confusion as to what to pick up and what was going where as the crew on location did not have the full inventory sheet that had been sent to Andy. Quickly resolved with a call to their office and I sent them my inventory sheet again and all seem to be Ok. The crew was polite and efficient in removing the goods but left me with no confirmation nor signed inventory sheet. Andy reassured me via mail and Anyvan on my call vouched for the honesty of this company.
The next day my goods arrived to Switzerland at both location, I was each time advised an hour before and called once they were on location. The drivers were efficient, polite and did not let me pick any of the boxes. They reassembled furniture and not one item was broken nor scratched. Same scenario in Italy the next day. I was however put under pressure to emit payment via bank transfer before my goods were moved to the next destination, situation that I was not made aware as I made my down payment via credit card through Anyvan. All In all I give 5 stars for the crew on site and would use them any time it was the most efficient and polite movers I had ever used but on the Administrative only a 4 as a lot of the stress was created due to lack of communication on the process from the get go. Just clarify your process ( quick mail telling all the info pertaining to the move and term of payments) from the start and a signed confirmation on pick up) and you will be a five star + in my book!

Excellent efficient service. I was looking for someone who would be willing to collect a heavy electronic organ for me from Belgium and Shipley sent me a quote from White Glove Movers who offered to do this for me. It was simple to set up. I was asked the dimensions and weight of the item and if there were any stairs etc. They set up a chat communication system via email so we could keep in touch to arrange and they answered all my questions and concerts swiftly. I did not even have to pack the item as they have professional cloths and moving equipment. They were curtious and even in these difficult times my organ was delivered within a week.

I engaged AJ Movers to collect a baby grand piano from Dundee to London. The quote I received was full and final with no additional fees. 'Andy' was my contact. I called the BHF store and they confirmed pickup took place at 10.30am. About three hours later I received a call from BHF Dundee that the bolts for the legs have been left behind. 'Andy's attitude was poor and totally unprofessional. While trying to get him to take responsibility for this, he informed me that there were eight steps to get into the BHF store for which I would liable for an additional £80. When the piano was delivered the following day, I disputed this additional payment and 'Andy' asked his men to remove the piano and return it to Dundee. I informed them it wasn't thiers to take as it was my property. I was then informed at that point to either pay the balance by cash or bank transfer; I wasn't expecting this as I had paid the deposit by credit card on Ebay through Shiply. I felt I had no choice but to pay, almost like being held to ransom. One of his men even took a picture of my laptop screen to prove that I had paid, citing other customers they've had problems with. Altogether it was a stressful and unpleasant experience. I wish I'd never accepted their quote. I ended up with a cowboy outfit.

Update
I was contacted this morning by Rocco (who identified himself as the company owner) He was calling to apologise and offered to refund the additional £80 charged if I would remove the negative feedback. I told him I would not but will be happy to modify the review if a donation of £80 is made to the British Heart Foundation (BHF). The Dundee store was very good to post the bolts to me in good time. He emailed me a payment confirmation screen from the BHF website. I should also point out that the staff treated the piano with good care and attention and it was assembled correctly and in good time. I also appreciate the call by Rocco to try and resolve this issue but I hope for the future, he has learnt from this that no customer goes through the treatment I was subjected to.

Contact-free one-bed flat move from Haarlem (NL) to Edinburgh (UK). Andy and his colleague were extremely efficient, careful and precise. The furniture was picked-up and delivered on time, in perfect condition, on the agreed fixed dates. Andy was extremely responsive, and answered all my text messages/requests in a matter of minutes. Upon delivery, he provided an excellent service and placed all the pieces of furniture/boxes as per my requests. The job was very reasonably priced. I recommend EasyMoves without hesitation.

Andy and his team have been moving pianos for me for about 18 months now and has always provided excellent value for money. The movers are always polite and professional and handle goods with respect.

I use many different courier/ van services and this is the most careful one, very diligent about taking detailed pictures of all items before moving and any marks (and there are plenty of big expensive companies who don't even do this)

All round excellent service.Drivers were very helpful, polite and patient. Nothing was too much trouble and all with humour and good nature regardless of the tasks involved. Everything arrived safe and intact. I really would recommend AJ movers. I have moved to Italy and back twice. This was the best company I have used.

DO NOT BOOK!!! I have never written a negative review online for anything but have never been treated so horribly by a company. AJ Mover's lost one of my outdoor chairs and damaged an expensive table in the move and refused to take responsibility for either. Andy the owner gaslighted me claiming that losing a chair was "impossible" yet they left my old home with 4 chairs and delivered 3. Andy accused me of lying about the table damage, then asked for personally identifiable information (bank statement proof of purchase) under the false pretense of submitting to insurance. He then said he wouldn't submit to insurance bc the table had a 0.5mm chip on the top prior to move and he claimed this negated his responsibility for leaving me with a 7mm gash. If you look at any of the negative reviews online (and I admit there are not many) he never once tries to rectify the situation with customers and instead argues and name calls. The actual guys who completed the move were nice and fast so if the move goes well then they would be great but you will be deeply sorry if you book this company and something goes wrong. I'm now stuck with well over £1800 in replacement costs and am forced to take this to small claims court.

I am delighted to give the highest praise to AJMovers. From the first phone call to finish everything went swimmingly. The admin was efficient and courteous, and communication was extremely good. How often can we say that? The delivery boys were charming, prodigiously strong, and extremely careful with a valuable instrument. The price was also extremly reasonable. I recommend this firm without reservation
