very very poor ! I suggest everyone Dont go for Akbar Travels Online for Ticket Booking.

I had a highly disappointing experience with Akbar Travels due to their incorrect visa extension information, which led to me incurring a AED 300 fine at the airport.

I initially booked a 60-day UAE visa through Akbar Travels and later requested a 30-day extension in January 2025. Their agent clearly confirmed via WhatsApp that my extension would be from January 17, 2025, for 30 days. Based on this, I booked my return flight for February 15, 2025.

However, I later discovered that my visa actually expired on February 13, 2025, instead of February 17, 2025, as their agent stated. On February 13, Akbar Travels informed me that I had overstayed and had to pay a fine, despite me relying on their given information.

When I confronted them with proof of their agent’s incorrect information, I was repeatedly passed between different agents, and their supervisor refused to take responsibility, ignored the WhatsApp proof, and disconnected the call.

Due to their mistake, I had to pay AED 300 at the airport. This level of misinformation and poor customer support is unacceptable. I am requesting a full reimbursement of my fine, as I should not have been penalized for their negligence.

I urge others to be cautious when relying on Akbar Travels for visa services and to double-check all information independently to avoid unnecessary fines. I hope Akbar Travels takes accountability and improves their service to prevent this from happening to other customers.

Don't consider or even think to get visa on this company!
They will wrap their hands around you in order to extend the visa and pay the amount they asked otherwise they will file absconding on the person.
I DON'T RECOMMEND THIS AGENCY! BOYCOTT!

Worst customer care service. First guy transferred me to a dead end. Second guy kept asking me the details like 5/6 times until I got tired and gave the wrong details. He said Thank you so much bye bye and hung up.

I recently booked for holiday package for my boss to Vietnam and the agent is blaming me cause he doesnt know that Emirati are required to obtain Vietnam Visa before traveling he was relying to me only to know this things when its his responsibility, so my boss got offloaded they refunded only 30% of the payment most probably took all the rest very bad experience please refrain dealing with this agency

If there was no star i would have clicked , The agency is not upto the mark , their website is not transparent and as a customer i ended up paying for a basic ticket more than a value ticket which would cost lesser actually
The agency does not take accountability about things
I would never recommend tjis to anyone for any travel related requirements

We had taken Highlights of Europe tour with Akbar travels from May 26th to June 3rd.Horrible experience faced by us.The main drawback is they are working with European Walkers who are their Land partner in Europe.Due to this the guide who came with us had poor knowledge of the places,was giving us details by reading from Wikipedia which we also can do by ourselves.Most of the time was spent in bus journey,hurried us at all tourists spots saying driver has to be back in time.At Vatican we didnt get to see the famous St peters basilica since they had not arranged tickets beforehand.Another major hurdle we faced was in Checkin at hotels which took upto 1hr sometimes.We have travelled with SOTC,STAR tours.never have we faced such an issue.IN TOTAL IT WAS A TOTALLY UNPLANNED ITINERY CAUSING HARDSHIPS FOR THE TRAVELLERS.

Worst experience had with Akbar travels
We mistakenly trusted this agency and lost money for no reason.
We booked a returned flight from Dxb to Toronto with layover on USA.
Unfortunately when we reached airport we were stopped for not holding US transit visa, when we contacted Akbar travels for help their operator bishnu was very rude to me and instead of apologising he accused me for not checking rules in fact he didn't help us,moreover he told us to send email which was sent already but till now no reply.
We contacted direct airline they agreed to help us but this agency is worst.

Initially i would like to say that it was a mistake from my side to trust Akbar travels (Abu dhabi branch) to apply for UK standard visa. But, they should've told me that they don't have much experience for applying UK visa, instead they asked me to send the documents and proceeded with the application.

Nobody has ever seen such a lengthy rejection letter i received from UK Embassy mentioning i didnt even submit the basic documents which i was supposed to submit during application. I was scared that i would be banned for my future travels. Luckly, i tried with another travel agency and got the visa very easily.

Talking about customer service - Even though i know her name, its not right to mention such details in a public forum.
1. The agent told me that it was my mistake that i was not aware of the required documents which should've been submitted.
2. Agent told the UK Embassy did not inform them about such rules. They should know that the embassies don't call each agency to inform about the regulations.
3. Told me that this was not the first visa rejection they received from UK embassy, which they should've told me before applying so i could've gone for other options and might avoid losing my money.

We all know that it's up to the embassy whether to accept or reject an application. But rejecting due to lack of some basic documents is a total negligence from the travel agent. Literally the embassy had no choice but reject our application due to this, and we came to know about this when we applied for the second time with another agency.

Choose your agents carefully. Check their expertise, history and customer service before trusting them with your money. Hoping that this experience doesn't happen to someone else.

After booking Ticket Airlines comfirmed the ticket with one missing passenger.when enquired with Akber Travel.Agent Purnima promptly responded and took action and get airlines to reconfirm my tickets including all the passengers .Thanks Purnima and Team Akber Travels.

Please don't go with Akbar Travels. I have booked ticket through akbar travels from COK to MLE. But I met an accident then I requested them to cancel my tickets,. But they denied, they said their cancellation charge is more than my ticket charge.

We went a trip to Azerbaijan on our Christmas holidays and we are back yesterday, Akbar travels Abudhabi was our travel coordinator. we requested for guide and that included in our package but not provided only one day and at 11:00 hrs. They charge for the guide for all 4 days. Akbar travels Abudhabi was not
responding in timely manner. Not given proper itinerary also. The hotels they booked were worst. Too much dusty, carpets are not clean, rooms are smelling badly, no proper air conditioning. It was waste of money and energy.

Worst company ever. They take bookings and then takes hours to get the car

The Overall experience of Akbar Travels was pathetic
Never advise
Just incompetent person in Akbar Travels I advise ...better learn n then pitch clients
After spending do.much what's the use when the Travels have all incomplete information

Very pathetic service from Akbar travels. the agent Rahim is not responding on my several chasers on whatsapp. I do not have any option to attach screenshot here otherwise i would have attached the same as a proof of no response from the agent.

I will never recommend Akbar travels to anyone.

It was a great experience with Akbar travels, Miss kamala and Mr. Omkar both helped us in getting affordable tickets for Ireland and moreover when our baggages were delayed from Paris to Dublin, they helped me a lot in tracing it and claiming the money from airlingus. So, I recommend Akbar travels to everyone.

Worst travel Agency..Don’t ever book anything through them. It's a fraud agency. I applied job seeker visa they were not able to process and claim that they will refund my money in 2-3 days and it’s been almost 20 days, everytime they say give us 1-2 days more. Poor executive service, less experienced staff.
