Alarm Guard engages in unethical practices. Their employees will lie to potential customers about a promotion that includes free security products as a deal with Telus. That is a lie. There is no promotion, there is no deal.

What they will do is create a second account and bill you for their security equipment, double charging you and then more, then refuse to take accountability.

They back up their lying employees by saying you've already signed the contract and when you renegotiate with a new contract that legally allows you to terminate with dignity (and not pay the false penalties they scammed you in), Alarm Guard refuses to honour their own contract

Alarm Guard has no integrity, refuses to follow their own contracts, all because they want our money in whatever unethical way they can

Beware of Alarm Guard Security who are door knocking and are posing as a affilate of Telus. Its a scam and they will lock you into a contract with faulty system you can't get rid of. Do not sign anything with them.

They are in bed with Telus, the biggest scam going. Their field personnel lie to your face and will tell you it's not but once you sign the contract they give it to Telus and then your locked in with the most unfriendly telecommunications company out there, and then say there's nothing you can do but deal with telus, who is impossible to deal with.

Alarm Guard installed the security system in our bed & breakfast. The sales person was very knowledgable, the technician was professional and the support was amazing.

This has to be a pretend business. 1 support tech who only works 9-5, Monday to Friday. One receptionist who answered 24/7. 2 install guys, one of which is daft and the other one is catty. Really flimsy equipment that never worked as a whole. And, a salesperson who literally forged my initials as it was not the initials I use.

I got the teardrop mainly because I’ve been falling and wanted something for when I am on my own at home. I checked and they said it had the fall detection. I have fallen 3 times and nothing happened. When I called they had me drop the device on the floor andlow and behold it worked. So I gues if you’re going to fall make sure your device hits the ground before you do. And I. Paying 56.00 a month for this!

Absolutely fabulous service from Chris the engineer. Holiday home alarm was going off 300 miles from where we live and he sorted it out in less than two hours. Thank you.

I had my security package installed in December 2019. I had a couple of small problems that Glen fixed quickly for us.
Technical support with Glen was very positive and friendly.
All staff have been very friendly and positive and we have not had a bad experience yet.

This 'security' system creates additional stress on our home by giving us routing 'emergency notices'. I'm talking about weekly phone calls notifying us of breach, simply because our door is open as we load groceries in!! We have been requesting help for this problem for over 6 months, with ZERO customer service. It's the worst decision we have made and is costing us thousands of dollars. Do NOT use them.

My experience with AlarmGuard was 5-star +! Nowhere else have I been treated with such courtesy and respect at each stage of the purchase, sale through install.

I highly recommend this company!

They switched around the digits of both my spouse and my telephone numbers. Called to ensure they update the information in their database, but was transferred to the Accounting department before being hung up on by that representative; called back, and was advised somebody else will be calling me back within the hour, at the correct number I provided. It has been over a week without any call backs.

Every thing works O.K. I asked about a door bell inside as we needed one, but did not get it. Had to buy my own and hook it up.

They did not keep their promises to install the glass break alarm. I had to call the main office in Montreal to solve the problem.

I had a terrible experience soo far and it's been only few months that i'm with this company .very inpatient to finish my contact worst decision ever. Employees that talk really bad I was transferred while I was talking.

Does not offer 24 hour service and does not work on Weekends. If you have an issue out of hours doesn't matter whether your Alarm cannot be set you just have to wait. Plus leaving a message you may or may not get a call back. However, the engineers are very good at their job and very polite.

Extremely disappointed with the service and installation. Would not recommend to my family and friends.

Very disappointed with the choise I've made. Not even a week following the install, "low battery" alarm shown on two sensors, poor customer service, no courtesy calls, etc, etc ....Already three months and I have the same issues...

When I first called for information, I got a very thorough review of the services offered, along with the costs. The installer was very professional, and the installation went quickly. Since then, we have been very happy with the level of service.
