I've rented at amigoautos for the last 12 years and only once have I been disappointed by the rental service (FireFly).

I found it extremely easy to book a suitable car for our trip.
Plenty of models to choose from and an easy visual guide to number of persons and cases would fit in the car.
Rates are competitive too!

Hidden fees
I thought it was the best priced vehicle rental agency advertised.....Would NOT rent from them again. Hidden fees that I'm still fighting as I await paperwork they say I signed....how is it fair you pay a daily sunpass fee (which I signed for) but still get charged for each toll you go through (which was never mentioned, don't recall reading in contract). Absurd. Upon pickup of the vehicle I should have known better but gave them the benefit of the doubt.....it was sketchy. I recommend renting from airport!!

Don't trust pricing!
Thought I was getting car for 40 euros, final bill was close to 106 euros. Be very careful with the fine print. The website may say XYZ but then when you book it the contract will say something else.
For eg. We were surprised when we got to our rental they told us we only had 250km per day where the website said unlimited. Furthermore, we thought we ordered automatic only to find a manual submission at the rental company.
Just book directly with the rental company and skip this service.

Always fast, economic and trustworthy
Have used AmigoAutos on few dozen occasions. Best prices, flexible options, no cancellation charges. The only thing to keep in mind is NOT to purchase thd useless insurance that spams Your inbox right after making a reservation. Some partner company does that but it's way better to purchase the insurance directly from the Rental company.

Please bear in mind that we offer insurance to customers' peace of mind but we always inform that the rental company will require to leave a deposit and it will be unblocked once the car is returned. Thanks to our insurance, customers are refunded if the rental company charges for damages.

beware using dickmans car hire in spain
beware using dickmans car hire in alicanti. they TAKE 800 euros deposit from your credit card, instead of RESERVING it, and you will be charged a non sterling transaction fee by the card provider. they hold this for three to four weeks instead of returning it after checking the car. this policy is not done by REPUTABLE HIRE COMPANIES . also you are given no details of their off airport address, so difficult to return car if getting a night flight.
