PUBLIC WARNING – FRAUDULENT MILEAGE MISREPRESENTATION
I am writing this review as a formal public warning.
I purchased a vehicle through AuctionExport based on a clearly advertised mileage of 77,000 miles, supported by auction photographs and listing details. This mileage was the sole reason I proceeded with the purchase. I would never, under any circumstances, have bought this vehicle had the true mileage been disclosed.
After the vehicle arrived in Europe and independent checks were carried out, it became evident that the mileage had been manipulated. Vehicle history records show significantly higher mileage recorded years earlier, followed by an impossible reduction and then an increase again. This is not a “discrepancy” or an “error” — it is a clear, documented odometer rollback, which is illegal.
On further inspection, the vehicle is also in extremely poor condition, mechanically unsound, and effectively unusable without substantial additional expense. It is, quite frankly, nothing like what was represented at sale.
What is most disturbing is not only the misrepresentation itself, but the company’s response:
• They took full payment immediately
• They dismissed clear mileage evidence
• They stopped responding altogether once the seriousness of the issue was made clear
I have now spent months of stress, financial loss, and emotional distress dealing with this ordeal — shipping, customs, taxes, inspections, arguments, documentation, and unanswered emails — all for a vehicle that should never have been sold as it was advertised.
This matter has been escalated to consumer protection authorities and federal agencies, and I am pursuing all available legal avenues to ensure accountability. Odometer fraud is not a minor issue — it is a serious offense — and companies that enable or ignore it must be held responsible.
DO NOT TRUST THE MILEAGE LISTED BY THIS COMPANY. DO NOT RELY ON THEIR DESCRIPTIONS. DO NOT ASSUME THEY WILL HELP YOU IF SOMETHING GOES WRONG.
My advice is simple and sincere:
Stay away. This is not an honest operation.

Good morning. We are truly sorry you feel your transaction was not handled correctly. Let us please clarify your invoice and the status of your vehicle.
- We used the fastest and more affordable option available to your destination country. Given the car went by container consolidation, we had to wait for more vehicles to arrive to complete the cargo.
Grimaldi lines was available at a higher cost of about $ 800 more per vehicle if loaded in a 40ft with 4 cars. Since this was a 40ft with 3 cars the ocean price would have increased to $950 more per vehicle which none of our other clients would have been willing to pay.
The last vehicle to complete the cargo arrived at our warehouse on October 3rd. The vehicles were scheduled to load and sailed on the earliest vessel. On October 24th the container was loaded and the status changed on your profile.
The available arrival time provided by the shipping line was scheduled for December 21st. Which was then changed by the shipping line to January 28th. Please note at no time we control the shipping line's schedule. All transit times are provided to our clients the same moment they are informed to us.
We are once again truly sorry you feel our services have not been to the proper standard but rest assured we did our best to load the vehicle as soon as possible and ship it to your destination country.

Hello, thank you for taking the time to share your experience. The vehicle purchased was a 2023 Honda CR-V with a Salvage Title, previously involved in a collision, declared a total loss by the insurance company, and listed with deployed airbags. These details were disclosed prior to purchase.
As stated in our Terms & Conditions, Run & Drive means the vehicle started and moved under its own power at the auction facility at the time of listing. It does not guarantee roadworthiness or that the vehicle will remain operable afterward. Collision vehicles with salvage titles commonly have suspension or mechanical damage, which may require repairs.
The vehicle was sold at a significantly reduced price (less than 50% of the value of a clean-title, accident-free vehicle), reflecting these risks. We regret the inconvenience and encourage all buyers to carefully review vehicle condition reports and terms before purchasing salvage vehicles.

Horrible experience. They charge crazy fees. Right now I’m trying to get back my $4,000 that I had to send them in order to bid. I won 2 live bids and guess what? I could not bid for 3 days while the seller makes up their mind if they want to sell to me. Then the seller decides that it’s not enough money. If u win a $1200 car u will end up paying $4700. 3500 in fees. U have to use their scum bag tow people that should only be $400 but they over charge u $1500 and u can’t use anyone else. Don’t try to pick up ur car. That’s not allowed. These r greedy greedy greedy people that I’m done with. Do NOT USE THEM U WILL LOSE BIG TIME. there a 1000 other online brokers for cars. I’m Checking out 3 others right now and so far they r wayyyyu better.

Regarding the bidding process, Auction Export does not control seller decisions. Some sellers have reserve prices, and even if a bid initially appears to win, the seller may take time to confirm or reject the offer. Unfortunately, this is entirely at the seller’s discretion and outside of our control, as clearly stated in our Terms & Conditions agreed to during registration.
When purchasing a vehicle, the final invoice includes multiple components: auction buyer fees, Auction Export service fees, documentation, ground transportation, and ocean freight . These costs are fully disclosed on our website before bidding ( transportation fees needs to be inquired via email before bidding). A low vehicle bid price does not represent the total landed cost.
Ground transportation pricing depends on distance, vehicle condition, and auction requirements.
We regret that your expectations did not align with the auction process and encourage all buyers to review fees and ask questions before bidding to fully understand the total cost structure.

they are quiet reliable and i received my car after 2 months. i later bought parts which went missing but they refunded by replacing the missing parts and having it shipped to me. i was impressed even though the whole process took so many months.. i recommend them..

Their customer service is top notch. They do everything possible to explain things to you into detail, fast in replying of emails. They communicate and update you on every location of the car. They also provide me an agent at Tema Port (Ghana) who also made clearing the car very easy and smooth.

You never address nothing I said, from 11 June 2025 that I purchased and fully made payment to 8th August 2025 that customs selected for examination what was happening to the car for almost 2months answer?and sense it’s set off from USA on the 20th August why does have to take extra 4months ?
Its simple you dnt care coz after we had to pay additional $2856 for just the customs check you still put us on a cheaper and slower shipping and after the frustration delays and unbudget expenses so how do you care about your client ?

Let me start by saying that I made a mistake too. I purchased a Buy Now vehicle I lost a few days due to bureaucratic issues, I won't deny it, and sent the money eight days later, paying all the interest for the small delay. Even though I asked to wait for the money (I sent copies of the transfer) because I live on another continent and the bank transfer days vary from 5 to 7, there was nothing I could do: I lost everything, a $1,000 deposit + $5,340 invoice balance. I paid for the two shipments without using them since the vehicle was never delivered to me. I was devastated.
And Mr. Lee Robert did not give me any help even if the money arrived (because with the bank you can check any incoming transfers) but immediately they cancelled all the money sent and all the 6340$ thrown away without having anything
I understand that if someone doesn't send the money immediately, they have to pay interest (and I paid all of it), but losing the entire sum without having anything is incredible. They could have made me pay for the loss of earnings on the car (which they own anyway) and given me part of the money back. I would have accepted that. But no, they also kept the $3,000 for two unfinished shipments. What would you think if that happened to you?
I also thought they did it on purpose. How could someone who lives on another continent recover $6,340 without spending the same amount through lawyers? I remind you that I paid the entire sum without receiving anything.
But it will serve as a lesson to me, and I hope you learn it too.

According to our records, you were charged only the $1,000 cancellation fee for failing to pay on time for the 2017 MINI HARDTOP COOPER (VIN: WMWXP5C33H3C64109). You also confirmed your intention to cancel this vehicle on August 25, 2025. Please specify what shipping charges are you talking about? You do not have any vehicles on your profile, therefore it is jot possible to have any shipping fees charged towards your deposit.
On August 29, 2025, you sent us a confirmation of a bank wire while at the same time leaving this review. However, up to now we have not received any of your wire transfers—only your credit card payments. Please check with your bank, as it is possible that your transfer has not yet reached us.
For this reason, we kindly ask you to review your statements carefully. We have not withheld any funds from you apart from the cancellation fee, which is standard procedure in cases of late or incomplete payment. Please contact us at sales@auctionexport.com so we can discuss this further.

Auction Export is Reliable
Buying vehicle from Auction Export was a smooth experience. There was no third party involved. I was able to buy from the website through the assistance of credible auction export agents. All necessary documents were received without any difficulty. The local Destination agent for auction export also assisted in the customs duty processes and final clearing. Vehicle was handed over to me as it was shown in the auction pictures.
