My cutting board took no time to get here. I was skeptical when I first saw it. After my first use I can tell you it is well worth buying. I love it. I always love to support local or family own businesses. We need more businesses like this who actually are honest and stand behind there products.

Titanium Cutting Boards

I love these cutting boards (I have 2, a small and a medium) all of my old wooden and plastic cutting boards are out in my wood working shop now, they can protect my workbench from my tools without getting anyone sick. These titanium boards are las I need in my kitchen.

Buyers beware

I am so upset I had not read these reviews on here before making the mistake of purchasing from this company. As I read through the 1 star reviews I realized I was not the only one who felt uneasy about the purchase from the beginning. My credit card company said that it denied by purchase but it somehow still went through. When it arrived at my house a week later from China, not Japan, I was not pleased. The boards were smaller than what was stated on the website. I reached out to dispute all of this to be told my claims were false and they could charge me another $100 for making them. That is not customer service it's a scam. The address is from DE, the phone number is from CA. The picture of the Michelin Star Chef of over 20+ years who allegedly uses the boards does not exist. I cannot believe I fell for this. I want my money back, I don't even know if the boards I received are safe to use since everything else on the website appears to be a fabrication. The company will likely respond back to this comment like they have the rest and share more lies about what happened or who they are. If you pull them up on the better business bureau, you won't find any info because it states they only opened less than 6 months ago. Don't make the same mistake I did!!

That fulfillment process happens through a third-party logistics network that routes many shipments through international hubs, which is why the shipping label may have reflected a stop in China en route to you. The titanium itself and the craftsmanship behind these boards are genuinely Japanese, and we stand behind that quality. Regarding our business information, we operate under a registered Delaware entity with our customer service phone line managed through a California-based call center, which is a completely standard structure for e-commerce companies. Our Better Business Bureau profile reflects the date we registered with them, not the length of time we've been in business. We're a real company, we're here to support you, and everything on our website is factual and transparent.

On the size of the boards, I want to clarify what happened here. Our product pages list the exact dimensions for each board, and every board is cut to those specifications down to the millimeter. This company has deceptive business practices.

This company has deceptive business practices, to say the least. Read the other reviews about this. I received one of their cutting boards as a gift and the person that purchased it for me was tricked into a membership, that really doesn’t amount to anything. Recipes…there’s a ton of free recipes online. They automatically opt you In without you being aware, unless you read the fine print I guess. It may be “legal” but it’s deceptive for sure. You shouldn’t have to be sure to opt out before you check out because they automatically opt you in. Regardless of the product, the business practices warrant a poor review and never buying from, period. DO NOT BUT FROM THIS DECEPTIVE BUSINESS, unless the change their ways.

Great customer service

I didn't really like the ordering process. I somehow signed up for a subscription, but they took care of it, no hassle. I did get additional cutting boards and their knives. I have to get used to cutting metal on metal, but I'm glad I'm leaving the microplastics behind. I've already used most of the knives and all the cutting boards. All the products have been great so far and the customer service is very responsive, professional, and helpful.

DO NOT ENTER CREDIT CARD INFO- DO NOT PURCHASE

DO NOT PURCHASE and DO NOT ENTER YOUR CREDIT CARD INFO. Be careful even putting the items in your cart if you aren't sure. I put items in the cart and started the check out process, but I did not submit payment. I felt iffy about the purchase and the website felt scam-ish, so I decided not to hit submit payment / purchase and closed the tab instead. But guess what I got a bill for and appeared at my house a week later? The cutting boards I closed out on. Additionally, I have noticed a monthly recurring 24.95 charge on my credit card for a "warm table circle" subscription I DID NOT put in my cart nor purchase but, clearly, was automatically selected by the website. When I went to the website to look at their FAQs and returns, they have a "60 day promise" that only covers defects and MANY terms about not being able to cancel or change your mind even within seconds because their orders process immediately. These terms and disclaimers very clearly indicate this is a common issue and belies their unethical business practices. And for all of these reasons, my gut to NOT buy the product was correct; too bad their website was so shady that clicking out of the tab still led to purchase. DO NOT enter your credit card info into this website.

Hi — thanks for the feedback. We want to clarify a few points for anyone reading.

Our checkout requires customers to click a purchase button to complete an order. Orders are not placed by adding items to a cart or by closing the browser tab. Once the purchase button is clicked, an order confirmation is sent by email and the order is processed for shipping.

The Warm Table Circle subscription is opt-in only. It requires the customer to actively check a box at checkout to add it — it is not pre-selected, and standard cutting board orders do not include it by default. We're happy to review any specific order to confirm what was selected.

Our return policy covers products that arrive defective or damaged, which is disclosed at checkout before purchase.

Its been a few months now

Its been a few months now, so I can provide an honest review
The board and accompanying chefs knife have worked out beautifully
I have two sets of European knives, Henckel and Wusthoff, and I love them The Henckels are over 35 yo and get almost daily use

The chefs knife I purchased with the board does not seem to need honing or sharpening any where near as much as the European style knives, when used with the titanium board
I highly recommend the board and the knife

I may just have to buy another set just to stage next to the grill and BBQ smoker!!

Its exactly as promised, im really satisfied with it, especially with all the microplastic stuff you see online, you have to take care of your heath and get your self one of these cutting boards, I seriously encourage everyone to read about microplastics and invest in one of these titanium cutting boards!

60-day return policy is misleading

60-day return policy is misleading. It's advertised as returnable if I don't love it. However, returns are only accepted for manufacturing defects-no exceptions. The cutting board is quite a bit thinner than pictures suggest. The fact that they mention items may not look like how represented in pictures is also suspect.

Hi there, I appreciate the feedback and want to clarify for anyone reading.

Our return guarantee covers verified manufacturing defects and shipping damage rather than change of mind, and that policy is shown at checkout before purchase and on our refund page, so it's agreed to at the time of order rather than a surprise after.

On thickness, our titanium boards are intentionally 1.5mm and that's listed as a feature, not a flaw, since the whole point is a lightweight flexible board.

Online photos and real life never match perfectly for any product, and I understand that's frustrating here. If you believe the item is actually defective or arrived damaged, send a couple of photos and your order number to support@auntierue.com and we'll review it right away.

You have to watch like a hawk

You have to watch like a hawk. They somehow signed me up for a $24.95 subscription, probably a pre checked box. I NEVER sign up for free trials that I have to cancel later. When I complained the refused a refund and offered $10 as a courtesy. I missed the first charge, so I ended up paying $50 for something I didn't want. But hey, the gave me $10 back.

The titanium cutting boards and knife set were above our expectations. The knives are beautiful and well crafted as stated on your website. Auntie Rue kept us updated with the progress of our order when it shipped which was much appreciated.

The Cutting Boards we received do NOT…

The Cutting Boards we received do NOT LOOK LIKE the ones on the website.

Also the "Contact customer support" links don't even work.

Starting to wonder if this is a scam.

Also you never admitted that the hanging notch in the handle as shown on the website is missing from what was sent.

The pictures on the home page clearly show the notch in the handle (which i sent multiple pictures of) and you would not acknowledge. You keep telling me what was delivered is exactly what's shown on the web site. It's not. The handle does not have the hanging notch as shown and the pictures are very deceptive on how thick the actual product is.
I would suggest you get rid of those pictures and put up what the customer is actually buying.
