Poor service

Poor service. They will insist their own choice of place where they want you to go for tire change, though there is more convenient and near to you. Will never get back to you if you dont follow the place where they want you to go. Not very helpful at all.

A Genuinely awful company

A Genuinely awful company. You'd get more 'support' from a wet piece of paper.

We, as a business were one of the first customers to adopt a Blue Box utilised on Land Rover / Range Rover vehicles in the early days when Tony Gill was there.

Like many reviews I've read on this page, we cannot perform basic functions on 2016 onwards vehicles.

The cheek of it is that they will gladly charge you another £60+vat to use an SSD unit, connected to our 'DrivePro' unit via WiFi to carry out the functions which we already pay for through subscription.

One of the managers actually said to me "Well there's plenty of other diagnostics companies out there..."

Total waste of time. What a fall from grace. I have nothing good to say about them.
I just wish I'd read these reviews before taking on a DrivePro, because the unit is worthless.
Totally conned by the sales idiot 'yes man' who told us we would have the same functions as the tried and tested Blue Box.

Just awful

Response time is awful. Account management is awful. a world apart from what they used to be (autologic) until Opus took them over. Do not waste your money! The tech guys are good, its a shame the company lets them down. Hopefully they will all leave and go to better diagnostic support services. I left them recently. they said just cancel the direct debit and the subscription will stop. This was also a lie and they've billed me for 2 month since and it turns out what they had told me was wrong (luckily I have written proof). AVOID

DAB Radio & Folding Mirrors

I’ve had a Dab Radio and Folding Mirrors fitted with Autologics absolutely impressed with the work. On the day Stuart came home to do the job and he was simply brilliant no hassle no mess perfect job done. He hadn’t a correct switch with him for my mirrors so he said he’ll come next day but unfortunately he was tied up with some other project so he’s Boss Simon came fitted that switch. After 8 weeks I had minor issues with one of the Dab frequency was not showing up and it late in the evening when I phoned he helped me with the issues with the video calling. So I would recommend this company they’re pretty reasonable with their prices and does the great jobs.

dont buy the autologic scan tool all my tech dont like using it i feel as if i just bought it for nothing their support is terrible price is terrible just been sitting on the shelve for the past year waste of money autel iscan ista etc are way better than this scanner dont buy you will regret

Autologic!!! Someone find me an alternative please!!

Been signed with Autologic, since way before OpusIVS took over. Ran a blue box for 10 years, great piece of hardware with genuine one to one telphone support when required. We are now on the Assist Plus. Being LR specialists we went with Autologic being the best tool at the time. Now we are "ok" up to about 2016. Any newer and it falls down quite often. Just sent our Assist Pls unit in for a charging fault repair. Wait 6 weeks to be told it's non repairable but we can "upgrade" you for £4800!! We are still waiting for a sensible offer back from them. Been Autologic since 2007, spent £50K with them so far, now actively seeking an alternative.

you lucky IF didn't buy this yet

you lucky didn't buy this yet, i spent over 40k with them on old blue box and the drive pro, they are changing rule on you, bad customer service, last thing my drive pro is locked and i paid about 10k couple year back which the Asian and domestic software and it is junk, when drive pro came to market the sales guy keep calling and sell me the unit, about year ago drive pro stop working and i call in they unlock the European software since i had own blue box and they said for Asian and domestic not gonna work you need to pay for support, i said no need that since it is worthless, this year the drive pro it stop working again and now they are saying your European software not gonna work, now i paid about 10k for drive pro and can't use it, if i bought lunch or .... at least it was working and it dose some stuff even auto logic doesn't do, DO NOT FALL FOR IT, GO DO MORE RESEARCH, AND THERE IS NOT MANY PLACES YOU CAN WRIHT REVIW, I WILL DO MY BEST TO SHARE AS MUCH AS CAN TO HELP OTHER NOT GETTING STUCK, NEVER BUY ANY PRODUCT FROM THIS COMPANY NO MATTER WHAT IS THE NAME OF PRODUCT, SAVE YOURSELF.

The Drive Pro is truly awful

The Drive Pro is truly awful. We have 2 of them. They're PAINFULLY slow beyond belief. Horrible lack of capabilities. My guys never use them except rare occasions for programming. Everyone uses the old Autologic Blue Boxes or the Autel or Snap-on scanners.

Autologic support is just awful. Everyone there acts like it's the first time they've heard of our problem, but I see online that everyone is struggling with the same stupid issues.

Don't buy one. A total waste of money. They claim they're "working on the bugs" but they're not. This thing has been out for years and is not improving.

Worst experience ever

Worst experience ever. Ordered an alarm clock that also charges my phone. The chord didn't match the color of the clock (black clock, white chord), but more importantly the chord didn't fit. 12 emails back and forth with their customer service (the company is in China by the way) and in every email they asked for more proof. Clearly not reading, or understanding, my previous email. Ultimately negotiated a refund for half of what I paid. Stay clear of this company.

PIECE OF SH$T

Piece of SH$T.
We have 3 autologic’s for over eight years. That includes 2 blue units and a grey unit. They sit in the cupboard for the last 2 years without use. They still send me announcements for update and releases for cars they can do now including cars and vans 2015. That’s embarrassing, someone needs to tell them it’s 2021. It use to be such a good product that I would swear by. Don’t bother spending anymore Money with them. eBay cheap units are better.

On the phone with assistance every week

The autologic is constantly disconnecting from our WIFI and printer, non of our computers or WIFI enabled products do this! Its so laggy and slow, I cannot believe they sell a product this poor especially for as much as they sell it for.

Walmart Laptops for $150 a better performing than our "assistplus"

i use opus (autologic) every day for last two years have no problems with it , bmw opus tech even come to my garage and programmed all the modules on a bmw mini . mercedes, jaguar, porsche , mercedes, land rover tech are very helpful and friendly . but some of the volvo , ford techs are a bit blunt to questions that i ask . never had any major problems connecting to any car .

I bought my Autologic in march 2020

I bought my Autologic in march 2020
I have had the same issues as every one else,cant connect to internet ,machine rebooting its self, black screen etc
But the main issue is that this so called " as good as the dealer tool" could not even find any coms to a 2007 Land Rover Sport , I have various out diagnostic tools which could talk to every ecu on the vehicle.the vehicle in question was in for having a new BCM fitted to it, after loads of phone calls and swearing Autologic agreed to send me an old Blue Box unit to repair the vehicle
When the Blue Box arrived it had RESCUE UNIT labled on it
The old Blue Box did the job no problem
On talking to Autologic it turns out they are aware of these issues and basically the old software does not work correctly with the new hardwear and they are trying to "Fix the bugs "
So Basically they have sold a tool that they no doesnt work
Autologic has promised me a new machine which has now been delayed to when ever
I bet if I was to phone up and book a sales demo they would be down like a shot, but trying to get them to come down with engineers to sort the problems out is another matter They are not interested
So on the whole DO NOT BUY one

Autologic is a JOKE

Autologic is a JOKE.

The blue box used to be a great product. Probably best on the market. Upgraded to a DrivePro and what a steamy pile of dog poo.

Can not log into the tool without being connected to WIFI. While trying to connect to wifi it either does not work at all or it allows you to connect but will not load a keyboard for you to type password in.

After you waste your time re-booting the tool (takes for fu*cking ever) and it MAYBE connects to WIFI and MAYBE allows you to login it will give you an error message that you must be logged in to use the diagnostic software. This is while you`re logged in. Don`t waste hours of your life on the phone with support. They are clueless.

We have received 3 drivepro`s over the course of 2 years because their fix for all these issues is to send you another overpriced pile of poop that maybe works and maybe doesn`t.

It required software patches and updates constantly. It does not communicate with cars while other scanners in the shop work just fine. Not just one car but 5-6 cars. It gives false live data readings (key on engine off rpm shows 4,000 rpm and cold engine coolant temp of 200 celsius).

This is the biggest piece of poop on the market. I have spent $9K for the drive pro and $250/month for 2 years on support. Autologic has received approx $14k from me for a product that DOES NOT work.

I hope they go out of business and get crushed by the competition like the cockroaches that they are.

Autologic is a pile of junk I payed…

Autologic is a pile of junk I payed almost $15k aud for the assist plus and it is as good as owning a $50 code reader from super cheap auto. It’s communication with mercedes Benz vehicles is absolutely garbage. It switched off half way through short tests and I complained to Autologic two weeks after buying it about this problem and it took them 12 months before they did something about it.
Not untill I kicked and screamed and threatened them with court that they did anything about it. They replaced it with a drive pro which is a lot better but the drive pro is $438 per month subscription or the machine won’t even work.
It’s a good machine if it was worth $4k not $15k.

Autologic an expensive empty and brainless box

Autologic is a no-brain box sold with bare minimum RAM memory equivalent for Windows 98, the bootstrap loading takes over 1 minute, the battery doesn't hold charge, hence this box cannot be used in a mechanic shop, electrical-plug free. The box needs software from another vendor, Drew-Technologies, the cost of this box is over $10,000. AUTOLOGIC FAILS TO TELL THE CUSTOMERS that "software upgrade" is available on a yearly basis at $2000 per year, so 1 year into the contract the shop needs to invest $2000 to continue to use the box. The contract is written in a manner to lock consumers into a debt and forces consumers to hold a useless box. Contract paragraph-12 refers to COMPUTER software and does not specify what software and why the software is needed, there is bootstrap OS and application software, paragraph #8 says the lease is governed by Federal Law, GOOD!!! news as a consumer I am protected by the FTC. I called OPUS their new owner and I spoke with Kristin Hunicke and after several emails she bridge me with Kevin Finn, AUTOLOGIC founder and he speaks eloquently and tried to give me 2 months free for the diagnostics software TECHNICAL SUPPORT, to help with diagnostics, so then what is the purpose of the scanner if it can't diagnose? then it means I bought a dumb-box and it loses its value, why would I pay someone to help me use or do the work of a scanner? Simple, consumers are being affected by this business practice, customers are not informed of the TRUE functionality, the product is fragmented and this company needs to stop robbing customers.

the way they conduct business is awful I bought 4 blue boxes in the passed and then the unit started losing certain program options then the company was bought out by another company and some of the old people came back to the company so I decided to upgrade to a new unit for 10k$ and within 11 days they start to offer the same units for $3500 if you had a active account which I did! so I bought another 2 units so I called back to the main office and they said that it is not their problem since I bought the computer from a outside vendor and not them (FALSE) When I called to buy the unit they referred me to the vendor where I bought my units so to recoup some my money back I decided to sell my old blue boxes on ebay then someone from Autologic calls me and tells me that I can not sell them because they will remove the software from the units now I am stuck with 3 very large blue paper weights! I was a very loyal customer and for a small shop to buy 4 units it was BIG investment for us and now this company to treat their customers like this is insane. I have given them an opportunity to fix this but no response as of yet.I would rather buy a real factory Diag tool then to deal with this shady company

Now a second rate pile of junk

A great shame that short term decisions destroyed the brand and ruined a great reputation. Very bad reputation has been created in the industry with those that bad the old blue box.

They mislead garages including ourselves when pushing upgrades for the blue box, only to drop support when a new tool was launched months later (no mention of the new tool with the sales pitch)

I know they have again been bought out, but thus far its been all hot air.

I and a lot of other garage owners are not going to buy in to their promises again.

My advice to other garage owners: Buy OE tools, invest now and get real support. Forget Autologic
