I highly recommend Tina Villarosa as a barrister for financial hearings. She represented me at my final financial hearing, and I won my case as a litigant in person, defending myself in my second language. A family member needed representation as a LiP for an ET. We thought Barrister Connect and the chosen Barrister would be a perfect combination, having paid over £2k, we were left with a barrister who didn't understand what he was doing and nearly had the case thrown out at a very early stage. Complaining to Barrister Connect resulted in a 6 weeks investigation which was full of contradiction, some lies and plain misunderstanding, a token offer was provided. When returning to them to try to 'work something out' amicably we were shut down. So now we will look to redress elsewhere and by other means. If you need help use a solicitor or try other means of direct access barristers, the barristers associated with Barristers Connect don't seem able to do anything above taking your money and letting you down.
