Outstanding support and fast turnaround.

I had an issue with a Victron DC/DC charge unit while living off-grid and travelling full-time, and the team at Batteries & Solar were incredibly helpful throughout. They worked quickly with Victron to sort a warranty replacement and arranged delivery to a Post Office in Scotland so I could collect it while on the move.

The replacement was fitted over the weekend and the issue is now fully resolved. Communication was clear, the turnaround was fast, and the support genuinely made a big difference given my situation.

Highly recommended — great service from start to finish.

Brandon and Grace did such a grand job. Always friendly and helpful. Patient with you taking ages over a decision and gave assistance when I needed it. I have been back many times and will use them to get my gas fitted (they do certified fitting too). Batteries and Solar rock.

I’ve had my solar & battery install for just over 18 months now. I’ve had lots of problems! The batteries have needed to be replaced already & now this company has said that the engineer doesn’t work for them anymore and they have suggested that I should explore other companies to take on my system..
Other companies have refused as the system is still under warranty and I would have to pay for replacement batteries again £2900!!
I’ve also not heard back from them following up by email…

We arrived at the company on the 21/07/2025 to have a Victron system fitted to our Motorhome, both our leisure batteries and engine battery where 7 yrs old and needed to be replaced with new. They recommended Victron AGM leisure and Fulmen Formula Extreme for the starter battery. They managed to complete the work in a day and half, all the inside was cleared and hovered clear. We was very pleased with the work that had been recommended and fitted. I no longer have to use the electricity to maintain the charge on the 3 batteries. I did not wish to have Lithium leisure batteries fitted due to the cost.
We are very please that we used Batteries and Solar to undertake the upgrade on our Motorhome.

Friendly courteous & very professional staff. Our VW T6 had a solar charging upgrade. New 200watt solar panel, victron smart solar controller, DC-DC charger, lithium battery & other bits, plus they fitted a Gas locker with drop down vents which was decided upon last minute. 100% recommend this company, excellent service!

Really impressed with the staff who were helpful and persistent. Supplied and fitted a new leisure battery for our camper van. We had to try a number of different shaped batteries before getting one to fit our van. Then they were prepared to go the extra to help reconnecting the leads to get us on our way. Many thanks

Needed a new thermostat for our campervan fridge. Looked on line and found these guys could supply one for just over £30.
Ordered on Wednesday and part arrived and fitted on Friday morning.

All good. Delivery was reasonably prompt. Some notification as to when it was likely to be delivered would be helpful. I was in the shower when the truck arrived.

Very quick service, and the extremely awkward item (3m awning rail) was very well packaged.
