Really great store! I have had no issues with any products that I had bought in store and online.

There was an accident with payment on posting but managed to sort it all out on Facebook Messenger, the staff were very helpful and managed to get my order to me within days!

Recommend this shop to all Warhammer lovers.

Ordered a birthday present for my boyfriend who I know goes to the shop on a regular basis and plays 40k regularly, the model I ordered was dispatched same day and took around 3-5 days to arrive, brilliant service and for a one-man store he works incredibly hard! 10/10 would buy from again

Great customer service instore. Now ive moved further away and i now order online with them. Not had any issues bar few delays with royal mail but they have always been clear with comunication. Would recomend as the go to hobby place in brum. Great stock range and available on hand.

Ordered a few times now for AoS and Star Wars Legion. Ordered online a few times and delivered quickly. Will be using again!

Ordered some stuff for Legions Imperialis, after two weeks, nothing had arrived. Tried using their chat box, no responce, tried using the "contact us" option twice, no responce. Tried using the facebook messenger chat, they looked at it as it clearly shows they read my message, still nothing, and the phone just rings outs.

I would avoid this place like the plague, they take your money, but gives nothing but silence.

A victim of the “reply on Day 6” of a PayPal dispute. Thankfully I have clear evidence of the product being cancelled days before it was even shipped. So many good hobby stores online, this sadly isn’t one of them.

Ordered a citadel brush set online, didn’t receive it and was informed I needed to pay a 5 pound charge for postage as I had apparent selected the collect from the store option when I ordered. PayPal payment of 5 pounds later, still no brushes. No reply’s to emails. In a nutshell pretty crap.
Edit - collection of brushes sent out by the supplier and order fully refunded.

Ordered an item, after a week of no communication or anything and me chasing for a delivery date, decided to log a paypal claim.
On day 6 of paypal dispute (they auto refund if nothing heard for 7 days), they reply with a royal mail tracking reference, so paypal didnt refund and case still open while awaiting review.
Tracking reference just shows a label was purchased, nothing dropeed off at the Post office.
Absolute scam i would advise stay away.

An edit on 24/04/24 after seeing a recent spate of 5 star reviews on this site I wanted to mention that I have still heard nothing from battle ground gaming even after sending a couple of emails. I would call these reviews dubious in the manner they have appeared.

Purchased some terrain on Feb 13th, received part of the order finally on 9th March. So that order alone took nearly a month to get to me. I wanted to be understanding and didn't email during this time as the banner on the store website says something about been a few days behind after time off so I left alone just expecting sooner or later my stuff would arrive.

Anyway I received part of the order on March 9th as mentioned and well expected I'd be refunded as that would make sense. No communication from battleground about the order been short or anything else.

So we get to March 18th and I decide to send an email. at this point I have received no acknowledgement from the store about the item missing or mention of a refund for missing item.

I send further emails on March 26th, April 3rd, Apr 6th and Apr 10th. Still received no acknowledgement of emails sent, part of the order missing or a refund.

I would take the advice of others and spend your cash elsewhere. Personally I will have to look at my options as to how to follow up with complaints else where and email gamesworkshop to mention that one of their stockists is behaving in this manner as clearly others have had issues getting refunds.
