the store was well laid out . the sales personnel did not 'badger' us whilst we were looking around for the items we wanted and proved very helpful when we approached for info: . the salesman we dealt with was fully knowlrdgeable and informative on all aspects of the products ,delivery etc .all inall a proper sales experience.

I’m 52 and I can honestly say Bensons for Beds are the best company I’ve ever dealt with, no question.
Bought a bed and mattress in march 25, the mattress developed a fault six months later.
The customer service was exceptional replacing the mattress for a new one.
Even before this the service in the store, delivery updates and actual delivery were first class.
I don’t know what training or rules the staff follow but all companies should take a look and follow suit. I wouldn’t buy a bed in future from anywhere else, highly highly recommended

At 83yrs of age this was very important to me and indeed, I thought she was mindful of that.

A pleasant experience been able to look around the shop and try out the beds without been hassled by a salesperson . When l decided which one l wanted the salesperson was very polite ,helpful ,informative and friendly.

The in store advice was very good and helped us make our decisions.

Letty from the Hull store was great. We can in looking for a mattress but needed to try some out and wanted some advice. Letty was knowledgeable, professional and really friendly. Nothing was too much and we didn’t feel pressured into anything. After visiting another bed shop to compare we decided to come back and purchase one of the mattresses we’d tried out. We are yet to receive it but will be sure to review once delivered and tried out.

Steve in the Hull shop was really helpful explaining the different options for base, headboard and mattress. Delivery was on time and the guys were polite and helpful.

I have been buying my mattresses from Benson for Beds for years :) you don't get harassed or pestered by the sales staff, they know there stuff, they genuinely care

Brilliant service the two delivery men where amazing and very pleasant stew the driver had a bit of hassle from my idiot neighbour but he handled it really well and Lee the drivers assistant was very pleasant and helpful delivered on time nothing was to much trouble for both of them

Very helpful in purchasing a bed

At a time when you can order high quality mattresses online with a long sleep guarantee that have zero return fees, and zero delivery charges, Bensons are doing business in the past.
Bensons currently will not give you a refund once it has been delivered, and should you want to use their '40-night comfort guarantee' they also charge a 10% fee of the original mattress price AND a delivery fee for the replacement mattress, even though they will be picking the previous one up anyway.
We were on the phone when arranging the replacement process that the manager 'may waive the fee', so it was at his discretion, but nope - an absolutely brick wall on that one when we actually visited the store.
Just to add insult to that, the in-store customer service was appalling. One particular member of staff at the St Andrew's Quay (Hull) store, was incredibly condescending, bizarrely defensive given the guarantee is there for a reason, and absolutely unhelpful, constantly questioning why we wanted to exchange it, and telling us that the new choice of mattress was 'just as firm' (it absolutely was not).
Given that myself and my family have used Benson's numerous times in the past and spent thousands on mattresses there, and also that we have used an online brand also to much better effect (they replaced a mattress with no fuss and no charges, and best of all with no unhelpful, badly-trained staff to deal with), we will no longer use Bensons For Beds either online and certainly not in-store.

Great experience in store, hoping delivery and installation lives up to the same quality.
