Great customer services firstly from Phil at the clifton moor store. Phil was very knowledgeable and patience whilst I went round the store testing out numerous mattresses, and also I changed my mind over the style and colour of the headboard. Everything was really well explained and understandable.
Secondly the 2 men who delivered and set up the bed and headboard, were very respectful of the property and myself. They did a great job of setting everything up, and gave good advice on the mattress, bed and bedding.
An all over great experience with Bensons for beds, 10/10.

Great customer service given helpful advice and didn't feel pressurised into purchasing which is a big no for me but we happily purchased a new mattress plus protector and 2 pillows.

We used their mattress for a week. I’VE NEVER SLEPT SO BADLY. Each night we woke up so unbelievably warm after a few hours (I’m usually always cold and it’s also the depths of winter). I kept ending up on the sofa. We switched back to our old mattress (luckily we hadn’t taken it to the tip), which confirmed it was the new mattress that was the problem. It was sold as temperature regulating.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I have asked for a refund as the mattress is not fit-for-purpose. I am not getting anywhere with this. Customer services are not getting back to me in a reasonable amount of time. All they have done is offer another mattress for a charge. We need a new mattress and will be buying one from elsewhere, but are nearly £1000 out of pocket and have a useless mattress getting in the way in our house.

To top it off, we got a parking fine when buying the mattress for overnight parking. We had visited the store during the day. I nearly cancelled the order because of this. I wish I had!!

Made the whole experience easy from start to finish. Emma was so knowledgeable and could not do enough to help giving clear advice on products to help us chose the right mattress for us. Then when we couldn’t get the mattress into our house due to low door ways Emma again sorted us out without any fuss or recrimination. I would totally recommend Bensons to anyone, professional and true customer care from the purchase to the delivery. Shout out as well for the delivery team who took the challenge of the low door and failed delivery in their stride.

It's rare to get a good professional service from retail nowadays but Bensons for beds was first class from the sales assistants at York, the admin staff keeping us updated to the delivery guys who were great

Ordering our remote control Ottoman bed base was made easy for us by James at York Clifton Moor store. Unfortunately we had to keep pushing back the delivery date back due to complications with the completion date on the apartment we were moving into, however it was no problem doing this with Bensons. The delivery guy's were great & set up the bed base for us & the electrics for the remote control. We would happily recommend Benson's to anyone.

We bought an adjustable bed, we were given time to try the beds out. Didn't feel pressurised to buy anything. In fact went away to think about it for a few days.
Delivered at the time that was initially predicted.
Delivery was great, had to rearrange the delivery date which was easy to do.
Delivery staff very efficient and tidied up after delivery of our bed. Highly recommend.

Emma was very helpful in explaining the different type of mattresses and was not pushy in pointing out the various mattresses available when I stated I wanted one which was soft. I made my decision and she explained the delivery process and requirements which I was happy with and I left a deposit. A quick and efficient service.

The delivery itself was flawless. Our delivery team of Lee and Stew could not have been more helpful. They were also pleasant and cheerful, in spite of ours being the last delivery of the day. They can deliver to us any time!
The mattress is everything we hoped it would be; seriously comfortable!
We have bought from Bensons several times over the years, and will certainly buy from Bensons again.

From the initial purchase of the mattress from Emma in the York branch, through to the delivery of the mattress by two outstanding delivery men, the experience has been extremely good and I’m delighted with the product. Anyone can make promises however Bensons insured that these were kept. The two gentlemen - Karl and Ryan had to deliver the mattress to my second floor flat. They were polite, courteous and insured no damage was done. I would certainly recommend these two delivery drivers as in my opinion of the service they provided was outstanding. There have been many an occasion in the past, when I’ve had things delivered and damage has been done by other firms. Fortunately, Benson’s employee excellent staff.

The staff in the showroom were really helpful, delivery was on time and the drivers were polite and quickly assembled the bed. I would definitely recommend Bensons if you want a new bed.

The delivery men were friendly and gave us good advice on maintenance of our new mattress and took the old one away.

Very frustrating trying to find a mattered to match our needs. Phil was really good and helpful and no sales pressure. We eventually pick a mattress after about an hour and half!
The only grip is the delivery I wish this had been dealt with before paying because so we could have looked else where. there was a limited delivery date to our location, remote apparently! which I disagree with. We both work shifts and sometime on the same day so no one to take delivery. We are having to wait 2 months for deliver waiting for our shifts to coincide with their delivery slots even though the matteress is available.
This is the reason I’ve given only 3* check the delivery slots before buying.

The member of staff who dealt with us was very helpful without being pushy
