On April 6, 2026, I made a purchase from beprepared.com for a Faraday Backpack and
SavedByPackage Protection for $1.67 to protect my package if I don’t receive it. They used OnTrac as their delivery service, and I never received my order. OnTrac is supposed to be responsible for accurate delivery; however, they failed miserably. Someone took it
upon themselves to modify my shipping address. My
address is 160 S. ______________, Los Angeles, CA 90004, building 1, apartment 143. It doesn’t matter if I list 143-1 or 1-143. The 1 signifies I live in building 1. If the 1 is missing, my order can end up in building 2, which is the same address but a different complex. When OnTrac (tracking number:D10017275701952) delivered to wherever they delivered, they didn’t provide a picture. They didn’t specify if it was left in building 1 mailroom, by building 1 mailboxes, left at my door in building 1 unattended, or passed off to management.
I canceled an appointment to be home. I have a doorbell, and it never rang. Nor did anyone knock. I watched the navigation, and it didn’t change from its location for several hours until it was actually delivered. I checked everywhere in building 1. I went to building 2 and checked their mailbox area, mailroom, and apartment 143 in building 2. Where did OnTrac deliver my package? Who removed my building
number 1 from my shipping address? If they had a question about my address, they knew how to reach me. They just decided to modify my address for whatever reason, but they never got permission from me to do that. What was the purpose of my paying for SavedByPackage Protection? They both want to pass the buck to each other and not resend my order or offer a refund, so I can purchase from another company that's more reliable and stands by their commitments.

Told them to cease and desist with spam email and selling personal information.

This is a bunch of predators.

We have some gift cards that we tried to use on their website, but didn't work On the phone, they would not let us use them, even though there was no expiration date on the cards. They said the cards are still expired and would not honor them.

I ordered some freeze dried fruit after receiving an email for a BOGO offer. Ad said fruit comes in a “large #10 can”. I previously ordered that same item in the same size can. When I received my order I was annoyed to see that there was only 6 ounces of product in the can while my previous order contained 12 ounces. If you are only getting half the amount, how is this BOGO? Buyer Beware!

UPDATE 5/13/25: Still receiving fast shipments (apt upstairs does too) & I opened my first can & it was mashed potatoes. I absolutely am addicted to them! But I also absolutely hate they're a bioengineered food. The flavor is very good, but when I follow the instructions, way too soupy. So I use equal flakes to equal water, sometimes a touch of milk, but not 2 cups flakes to 3 cups water as they recommend.

First, I'm shocked at their rating & that there hasn't been a real review (a 1* in 2025 for hating their ads somewhere. How can that be allowed?) since 2023 about the end of Covid! So most of the reviews seem to be during the pandemic when nothing was available anywhere & businesses where a mess.

Anyway, I have been amazed by the ship times. I swear I order one evening & it's here the next day. Each time I forget to double check the order date when I receive my items. It's definitely fast. More than likely about 3 days depending on day of order.

However, my orders are not large. I can only afford around $150 an order. I also do not have a family to stock up for. I love too they give Veterans a discount, little hard for me to remember to verify each time though. lol.

I have not tried any of the products yet. I'm bringing down my short-term expiration stock, increasing my basics with these items, & will begin using & restocking these from now on. That should always keep me in stock of my basics with long expiration dates. I do have a bit of stocking to catch up on to have enough to get through at least a year or 2.

I don't remember my most recent order date, so date is approximate. I have made at least 3 orders & forgot to review in a timely manner.

I have never used this product but I know I will never buy this product, because they advertise on YouTube and the advertisements are obnoxiously lengthy and tho I keep blocking they keep getting through. Newsflash businesses; if you advertise on YouTube and force your product down ppl's throats, people will boycott you, regardless of your product.

Now using bioengineering food ingredients!! No thanks. It's unfortunate because I have bought many items from this company in the past. I was going to buy more cornmeal, checked ingredients, and now BIF ingredient. Be diligent and check ingredients.

Anthony was very Helpful even gave me his cell phone number for any future questions. I may have about my electric pro water filtration system. I will order here again.

The red emergency bag’s zippers are corroded and useless after spending some years in my house. I can’t unzip to get to supplies. Not good in case of an emergency.

I have used emergency essentials many times in the past and got good products for reasonable prices. HOWEVER this year I ordered a bunch of cubed beef and received cans that were half full of little tiny cubes and mostly powder!

We haven’t received our order yet. So am only giving 4 stars. I know items are of great quality but feel we should have already received order.

Ordered items during peak time. I get it, you're busy. Some items in my package are no longer available. Not an issue. Your email says, we can substitute, respond to this email. 5-days later and I've sent 2 emails with no response. That's not ok.

I ordered items (food/non-food) that were in-stock weeks ago and those items have not shipped. I’ve tried calling-no answer, I cut a support ticket-no reply. I’d suggest buying elsewhere. Once my orders are filled (or I file a fraud claim with AMX) I will take my business elsewhere.

Have had good experiences in past but this last order is one of the worst experiences I have had ever after emails several phone calls to answer I have still not got my money back they sold me products they didn’t have and have not returned my money !

I ordered some freeze dried diced green peppers in a number #10 can. The price was over $25 but I bit the bullet and ordered them because I couldn’t find them anywhere else. They charged me $10 to ship a can that weighed next to nothing. When I got the can, I shook it. It can’t be more than 3/4 full. Very disappointed. Won’t be buying from this company again.

Terrible service. Ordered in March, recieved something similar to what I ordered, but not the same in September. I will not EVER buy from them again. Also very poor response to status requests.

BePrepared offered fantastic service and delivered an outstanding product during busy and challenging times. Will certainly use them again!

I've been an Emergency Essentials customer for years. There were a few hiccups in this order, I believe due to the chaos of everyone ordering at the same time in the CoVid crisis, but the staff was amazing. It took a while, they are very busy now, but they worked pleasantly with me until everything was straightened out. I will continue to use EE for my prepping needs and recommend anyone else considering them to do the same. You will not be disappointed.

Good product it came in about half the time of othere competator.
