I have been waiting since November of…

I have been waiting since November of 2025 to get my large magnetic hoop from Bernina. It has been on back order since Nov.. and they can't get their rear in gear to do the right thing and get things done. I am new to Bernina and right now they have ticked me off. I would not recommend them. Their customer service sucks yeah

Inadequate Tech Support

Getting software support through email is not efficient. I could not open and use my upgrade because of a key code issue, and I was limited to communicating through email that is going to Europe! So it is impossible to get support when I only can send one email per day due to time zone differences.
Customers should be able to get support via telephone. It is really difficult to explain certain tech issues. It's why companies have phone-based tech support. I'm very disappointed in Bernina regarding this issue.
Buyer beware.

Precios, limpieza

Los precios están carísimos pero los baños socios no se puede ni entrar. Hemos pedido agua además de tenemos que cogerlo nosotros mismos que somos clientes y hemos pagado por estar allí y hemos consumido los vasos bien socios y no están bien limpios, Así que recomendaciones pocas.

I need serious help, please!

I think I'll love my bernette d70 but I may not find out! I downloaded the user manual but the file is too big to print out on my home printer. It just prints the headings. I went to Kinkos FedEx to get it printed out but the file is too large to mail to them. I keep getting messages that it can't be emailed because it exceeds the size of 26 something? I called the Bernina store and they said they can't help me. So I thought if I tried to print it out in small sections I may get it, wrong, it still won't print correctly. Bernina needs to do much better than this. The instructions clearly say not to try to operate without first reading the instructions. Well Bernina, I'm trying but what are you going to do to make this happen?
On the other hand the transaction of buying the machine was great, lot of good that's doing! I'm stuck with no more ideas. Help!
I went back to the store and they were very helpful. They gave me the book on the thumb thing and I was able to take it to the printers. Thanks World of Sewing Raleigh!

Bernina warranty not worth anything

I bought my new bernina machine in 2021, the computer screen was unreadable in March 2023 and sent it in to be repaired. I am still waiting. The Bernina dealer is not interested in helping and advised me to turn the machine on the side to use it (it is a very heavy machine) and this is not a useable idea. I requested it remain with the dealer until repaired and I am still waiting. The machine still sits with the dealer, Bernina Australia will not respond to my complaints and the warranty will be exhausted by the time the Bernina is repaired - if it actually gets repaired. Seems the warranty is not worth anything and after 2 x years of regular use the machine is no longer workable. Very very disappointed with this machine and would encourage others to research well prior to purchasing.

Bernina is not what it used to be
You purchase then service from Bernina is horrible
Bernina needs to go back to talking with customers you purchase a very expensive machine software then help is horrible. You cannot service customers through emails. Good caring customers need to talk to customers. Email to support no help. Go back to what made you good.

Great sewing machines til they break…

Great sewing machines til they break and then you find out they don’t sell spare parts unless you’re a registered service centre. I’ve had an SE350 for over 4 years and the timing went. Took it my local sewing machine repair man and it needed a new screw somewhere in the bobbin holder as the old one had broke. Bernina will not sell me or the local repair guy a new screw, just a small £2 item. If you’re going to buy a Bernina machine, make sure you live somewhere near a registered service centre first. My closest is about 40 miles away, I don’t drive and don’t fancy carrying a heavy sewing machine on a bus and two trains! Disappointing, I spent a lot of money on this machine, and I definitely won’t be buying Bernina again.
