We're sorry to hear about your experience with cleanliness and gym etiquette at the Blaydon Leisure Centre. We take these concerns seriously and will be addressing the cleanliness of both the gym and the toilets with our team to ensure they meet higher standards from the 1st April. Additionally, we'll reinforce the importance of respecting personal space and cleaning stations after use, especially during peak times.
Your input is invaluable in helping us improve, and we appreciate you bringing this to our attention. We will start to operate the facilities from the 1st April onwards.

It’s fine really but the gym ( and the stairs leading to it - and maybe the changing rooms) are in need of a deep clean and more regular cleaning of floors and equipment etc. It is well used but should aim for better levels of cleanliness.

The children's swimming classes have…
The children's swimming classes have increased their numbers of child per teacher. Gone from 6 to 8 and 8 to 12.
A very disappointing start that doesn't bode well!
