Awful experience
Very crowded class. Kids can barely move and end up kicking each other in the face. Changing rooms are dirty and overcrowded.

Quite good gym
Quite good gym. Frustrating lack of flow yoga classes. App can be a bit glitchy. If it locks you out customer support can’t sort it out on line and you end up having to go into the centre to sort it out. Not a great experience at the centre although they did eventually unlock it. I am looking round for other options to join tbh.

Hi,
Thank you for sharing your honest feedback.
We’re pleased you’ve found the gym to be a good facility overall, but we understand how frustrating it can be when the classes you enjoy, such as flow yoga, aren’t as available as you’d like.
We’re also sorry to hear about the difficulties you experienced with the Better app and getting your account unlocked. We appreciate you highlighting these areas, as we want both our digital services and in centre support to make accessing your membership as straightforward as possible.
We hope your future experiences with us are smoother and give you more reasons to continue your membership with Better.
Kind regards,
Suheera

It’s ok
It’s ok. Quite good value for money. I would like some more traditional yoga classes at Maindy sports centre. Not just yin classes since I feel they don’t build strength and flexibility in the same way

Hi Helen,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback.
We are pleased to hear that you feel the centre offers good value for money. We also appreciate your comments regarding the yoga programme at Maindy Sports Centre. We understand that different styles of yoga suit different preferences and fitness goals, and that you would welcome more traditional yoga classes alongside the current Yin Yoga offering.
Your feedback has been noted and will be shared with the relevant team for consideration.
Warm Regards,
Hazal
too many kids
Teacher is good but there are far too many kids in the class for the children to really learn - I’m not sure if we will continue long term unless this changes or more teachers join to help

Parked overnight at the leisure centre…
Parked overnight at the leisure centre with my van. From the moment I made my enquiry Ben, Josh and the team couldn’t have been more helpful or friendly. The facilities were available from 6am and due to holding a drive in cinema on the Sunday the toilets were still open past 10pm. Very easy straightforward walk into the centre took about 22 mins. Very pleased to have found this place, recommended.

Great swim academy lessons
My daughter has just started the swim academy at 4 years old in Maindy Leisure centre, Cardiff.
The instructors were great with her, and the pool is a great facility for learning to swim.

Good next step from Escape Pain…
Good next step on from the Escape Pain programme.
The staff at Maindy were helpful in enabling my membership application.
The app is relatively easy to use for making bookings, and also a sudden cancellation of an existing booking.
It's very early days for me but it seems like a good choice to be involved with so far.
A rolling monthly membership also provides a good introduction without a lengthy prohibitive fee.
