So the facility is clean nice and well…
So the facility is clean nice and well maintained with the centre being right outside my home however, it’s a leisure centre not a full gym so it’s rather small but the main con is the fact that I waited two years to turn 16 so that I can use free weights as part of their “policy” but as soon as I started lifting again one of the employees told me that I could use it and had to “upgrade” to a full membership due to being junior. She said it in quite a rude way and a full membership is like triple a junior memberships price.

Resposta da Better - Morden Leisure Centre
Hi Tasleem,
Thank you for your feedback!
We’re really pleased to hear you find our Morden Leisure Centre clean, well-maintained, and conveniently located.
We’re sorry to hear about your experience regarding the free weights and how this was communicated to you.
We understand how frustrating this must have been, especially after waiting to reach the age requirement.
Our membership policies around junior and full access are in place for safety and insurance reasons, so you would need to be on a Student or Centre Membership to use the weights during an 'adult' gym session.
We deeply apologise for the way this was communicated to you during your session, and we’re more than happy to address this with the team.
Thank you again for bringing this to our attention!
Warm Regards,
Kaisha

Super friendly staff and clean, well equipped gym
Really impressed with Morden Leisure Centre. I'm a new returner to the gym and have been impressed with the range of equipment and the cleanliness of the gym. Also a shout out to a super helpful staff member Adrienne on the front desk - she is really patient and polite to everyone. (I've had some issues with an account and she's been great at resolving things and never flustered). Nearly all the staff I've seen are super helpful and approachable.
I've not used the classes or pool but from a gym perspective think it is great value for money. Slight watch out on what time you attend (the junior gym hours can be very busy with younger people).

No support for startes
The facility itself is decent, but adult beginners don’t get the support they need. Classes are overcrowded, the pool space is limited, and instructors change almost every week. The new instructors arrive with little context and offer very little guidance. I’ve been attending for over two months with almost no progress. It’s a good place if you already know how to swim and want to practice, but not suitable for adults starting from scratch

Resposta da Better - Morden Leisure Centre
Hello Anil,
Thank you for sharing your feedback about your experience at Morden Leisure Centre.
We’re truly sorry to hear that the adult beginner swimming classes haven’t met your expectations. We understand how important consistent support and guidance are when learning to swim.
Your comments about overcrowded classes, limited pool space, and frequent instructor changes are concerning.
We’ll review these issues with the local team to ensure improvements are made. Our goal is to provide a supportive environment for all learners, and your feedback helps us identify where we need to do better.
If you’d like, we can assist you in finding an alternative centre with smaller classes or more consistent instruction. Please reach out to us at [customerservices@gll.org], and we’ll be happy to help.
Kind Regards
