Great software for forecasting and planning.

Like the Boldin approach of listening Clint’s suggestion and constantly improving the experience!!

Great product, easy to use and understand as everything is well documented. The connections to my credit union and brokerage don't work properly and do not stay synced, no matter what I do.

I have used several models like the one used at Boldin and haven’t found one yet as comprehensive and user friendly as Boldin. Even e-money, which is used at Fidelity isn’t near as easy to use and manipulate. I especially like using the comparative functions being able to compare multiple scenarios.

Been retired for 4 years. Was making my own spread sheets and using financial planners to analyze my plan. Even though most of my data was spot on, the mods were time consuming and excel can only do so much. Once I started using Boldin everything was in my hands to do quick analysis and projections. Helped me see the whole picture. Of course, you still have to have good data and do some calcs on your own but Boldin carries the brunt of the work and I still use it on a regular basis to run scenarios and update my plan (ie, new roof in our Boldin model moved up to 2025 and new car in 2028 moved to 2030).

Would like to see a history-match feature added to Boldin. Something similar to the results of what FireCalc shows. It might help clarify the CoS value a little more.

Also, the AI feature is really helpful. Would like to see that expanded to a full page width and display tables and graphs while doing isolated what-if scenarios.

Excellent evolving tool to help bring a lot of different elements of preparing for retirement together in one place. They continue to beta test and adopt features that help you find blind spots and make plans.

I give Boldin 4 stars out of five. The primary reason is that once I have all my statistics in the Boldin Software, I can somewhat analyze the numbers, but without hiring a consultant with your company, it is very difficult to understand all of the permutations, including Monte Carlo predictions. Also, once I have the numbers entered into the software, I’m not sure what to do with them other than look at the success or failures of future speculations. Some of these problems are not specifically for Boldin, but trying to predict markets and the financial status of the future. I suppose that would be a problem for any software.

Having a plan helps clarify all spending decisions.

I've been a Boldin user for a year now. It gave me the confidence to know I could retire comfortably. It gives great insights into my retirement financial future. The AI assistant is very powerful and has improved very quickly. The features of the software are constantly upgraded which I like. The only problem I'm having has to do with connecting my accounts. There are issues that only Boldin tech support can help me with. I asked for help and so far, no one has responded to me.

I feel Bolden is the most accurate & powerful of the several retirement planners I've tried. Customer service has been very responsive. And now the AI makes creating new scenarios much simpler!

Easy to use and comprehensive retirement planning software. MUCH MUCH better than a spreadsheet. The ability to clone a scenario, tweak it, and compare, is huge. Definitely recommend it for anyone who's interested in retirement planning.

I have been using Boldin since before it was Boldin. The tool has grown with me. As I have learned more about the many facets of retirement financial planning, Boldin has added features to address those capabilities. The AI features are rapidly making the tool extremely powerful and easy to use. I highly recommend Boldin. I have tried two other Boldin competitors and found Boldin to be the superior product for my planning needs.

no software support. They sign you up for an outside firm that charges you monthly without securing your permission. very sneaky.

I'm recently retired and for years have been using very complicated spreadsheets I created to estimate future performance, perform Monte Carlo scenarios, and do spend and tax planning. Maintaining them and trying to model different scenarios was a nightmare. That's how I ended up using Boldin after trying all the options. I've been using the paid version for 6 months now and think it's awesome. It took some time to get used to it but now I can quickly model different scenarios to improve the outcome. I've compared it my spreadsheet results and have full confidence in the Boldin product! Highly recommended for the DIYer.
