After publishing on trustpilot, I have been contacted by Book a Houseboat and my critical post was finally posted!

We have rented a houseboat in Vreeland, close to Amsterdam. The houseboat didn’t offer at all the quality which was described in the offer. We have made a rather critical review, describing our experience.However, this review was never published. It seems only positive are accepted! Therefore I can’t recommend the site bookahouseboat.com

Bookahouseboat is an exceptionally customer-friendly and reliable platform, here you are never treated as a number. Their understanding of houseboats results in a variety of places to stay that you won't find on platforms like airbnb and booking.

This was my first experience attempting to rent a houseboat. I would highly recommend and can say I was very impressed with the assistance provided when requested and would rate my personal experience 5 stars. They made what could have been very stressful into "No worries" Many thanks especially to Pepijn for all of your guidance.

I wanted to stay in a houseboat in Amsterdam. As you do when visiting Amsterdam. So google brought me to bookahouseboat.com. The booking proces was easy, the communications were friendly and the boat was very very nice. I'd definitely recommend.

We were looking for a unique place to stay in Amsterdam, to celebrate that we could travel again. And I can only say that Bookahouseboat did not let us down. We found a super cool houseboat in Amsterdam, the Jordaan district, and the booking process was very user-friendly. Our host contacted us right after we booked, with useful information about both the boat and the cool places to visit in town. We loved this personal approach and can only recommend it. Thanks for a truly unique experience!

We had an amazing experience with our family. Everything was well organized from the beginning till the end. The boat was clean and had a triple A location! The owners left a cool personal note with the highlights in their neighborhood. It seems like Bookahouseboat has some pearls in their database you can’t find elsewhere, but I’m not sharing them here;-)

We booked a houseboat in Amsterdam for our fall break, a great experience! Our 2 kids loved it. We needed to make some changes to the booking which were processed quickly (and free of any charges). The support responds fast.
The booking process is easy and there are many payment options to chose from. I'd honestly recommend them. Best, Peter

I made a booking from that company. This company is like a scam. I choose the prepay option and paid 504 euro, owner of the boat cancelled and company returned me 440 euro. They have charged 64 euro for nothing and trying to trick me on the phone. This is what they say `` we need to charge this money because service+tax``. Nobody pays tax for the money that they don't earn.
