What... 6 months warrenty?

Whoever heard of a company supplying an electronic device with 6 months warranty?

My Hear Pods failed after 8 months and Branshaws were simply not interested.

Don't waste your money.

The handy heater 400

I bought the handy heater 400 a few weeks ago and have waited to see if it would prove itself over time. It has not done so. At a setting of 28 the heat cuts out after thirty minutes at the very most, and does not return if the appliance is left switched on. The claims made for it in the advertisement must contravene the Trade Descriptions Act.
The heater is not worth one star. AVOID THIS FIRM AT ALL COSTS.

Unwanted post - still receiving after a year.

Bought hearing pods last year which were unusable as they didn't fit properly. They refunded the purchase price.
However, since then we keep receiving unwanted post addressed incorrectly (as theirs was), so they have evidently sold our details to many other dodgy organisations. I have to write or email to each one to stop them.

Rubbish products, rubbish organisation

Father bought rechargeable shaver January 2025, now kaput. Rang Branshaws today to be given a scripted answer of return policy and warranty period of six months.
Waste of £50, avoid TV magazine promotions or anywhere else you find them at all costs.

My wife bought me the Hear Pod(s) White…

My wife bought me the Hear Pod(s) White back in July 2024, I first found them very effective, although tricky to balance volume versus feedback screeching.
After only a few months of occasional use for important meetings, the rechargeable battery duration on one piece fell to approx ten minutes.This is in contrast to the advertised "35-hour working time. "
This decline in performance now has further fallen off to about 3 minutes, so believing one of the hearing aids to be faulty applied to Branshaws for a remedy.
I was surprised to hear that they only offer a six months warranty and declined any responsibility or help other than in the form of an invitation to repeat the £102.95(inclusive of post) purchase of another set.
I will research the wording of the original advert my wife responded to and check that this item is clearly described as having a limited six months warranty .I would advise any potential purchaser to do the same.
To the contributors who left 5 star reviews for this product, could you update performance since original purchase dates ?

I wouldn’t put any stars

I wouldn’t put any stars - we brought the expensive miracle patio cleaner as advertised in the daily mail and did it exactly how instructed and it made NO difference whatsoever £65 wasted - I would have rather given the money to a worthy course - disappointed is an understatement - to say it’s a miracle is incredibly misleading and bears no truth

Very disappointed with my hear pods

Very disappointed with my hear pods. They packed up after 8 months and when I contacted Branshaws they advised these only had 6 months warranty. I have never heard of an electronic device with such a short warranty period. Perhaps a reflection of poor quality??

Magic Patio Cleaner

I have purchased magic patio cleaner have followed instructions but it has not worked I have tried to phone but always busy can you provide me with refund details as per you advert in mail on Saturdays.

DON'Tuse Branshaws SCAMMERS

DON'T use Branshaws. I bought a micro infini ear piece and it made my hearing infinitely worse as it crackled and screamed down my ear when i first tried it Also they charged me £83.95 for 2 and only sent 1 and then refused to refuned me. They ate SCAMMERS..
I have just seen the note above that Branshaws have written and It IS NOT TRUE. I tried to get a refund within a few days of receiving the micro infini ear and was refused. They had also sent only 1 but charged me for 2 and refused to send the ither one ass they said the code was wrong. WHAT????They are SCAMMERS. BEWARE.

We were going to buy some patio cleaner advertised in the Mail. According to the advert the reviews were great. A different story on Trustpilot. Thanks to all of you who did the reviews on the patio cleaner. We feel we have saved money and a great deal of hassle by listening to you

The patio cleaner was quite expensive…

The patio cleaner was quite expensive and made no difference whatsoever to our patio.
I followed the instructions carefully and feel that I have been sold a rubbish product.

Tried to order gloves for arthritis…

Tried to order gloves for arthritis online, ordered 2 pairs went to checkout filled name address went on to pay by PayPal but was taken to a none PayPal site. So Tried again got to checkout and the 2 pairs went to four pairs went back changed the 4 back to 2 Tried again checkout went to 6 pairs. So I gave up I'll try somewhere else

I purchased an infiear aid to help my hearing and was told to try it, and get a full refund if not suitable.
Branshaws are on a winner here as if worn, they will not issue a refund if the device has been used!! How can you try the item without using it?

BREACHING THE DATA PROTECTION ACT?

Two years ago I bought an electric shaver from Branshaws. It worked well but failed after 8 months. Branshaws refused to replace it stating that it was only guaranteed for 6 months.

Two months ago I bought another one. This one failed after only one month . I phoned Branshaws and was told to put it in a Jifffy bag and send it back. They said if it was faulty my postage would be refunded with the purchase price. The shaver cost £39.99, my postage was £3.25.

Last week I get an email from Branshaws stating they are refunding £37 with no explanation about the missing £6.24.

I suspected in the past that Branshaws sold off their client's name and addresses to other companies, but could not prove it. Therfore when buying the shaver last July I ticked the boxes on the purchase form declining contact from other suppliers, and kept a screenshot of it. Additionally I put the initials BM after my name so if junk mail arrived with those letters added to my name I could identify the source. To my non-surprise I have already received two mail
shots from firms I have never heard of, addressed to me including the BM letters after my name!

So Branshaws, please sort out your policy of flogging the names/ addresses of your clients as I would imagine your actions contravene the Data Protection Act, make sure I do not get any more junk mail, and refund me the missing £6.24.

I am sorry you’ve had problems with the razor, it is a great razor and well liked with our customers but unfortunately the warranty on your purchase had expired.

Apologies for the confusion over your refund. You should of course receive your full refund of £39.95, plus the return postage you paid of £3.69, making a total of £43.64. if there is any balance owed. I will ensure it is sent to you immediately.

With reference to your address. Other items have been ordered from your address, and several variations of your name and family name have been used, some of those variations do include the initials BM. Just to be thorough, all names listed, and your address, have now been deleted from our database entirely.
