Tour was fun despite the delays due to covid 19 burleigh travel pulled through with a fun and inexpensive tour - leicester lions

We had a great tour to Bournemouth, the facilities and organisation was top notch.

having had a tour date changed 3 times since 2020 due to covid we had remained loyal to burleigh travel and to support them through the difficult times when we could easily of took a refund. We eventually made the trip to Antwerp, coach in Belgium had not been booked for correct collection time and we would have to wait for anything over 3 hrs, we decided to catch train up to Antwerp as the coach company could not give us a definite answer of a collection time. When returning to the airport for are departure flight we where told to be ready for 11am the coach turned up at 12.30pm in this time the organiser had made numerous calls to burleigh travel advising of the issues and the possibility of missing flights coach driver arrived and advised that he had been called into work to take this job as it wasn't booked. Upon are return to the UK are organiser engaged in email conversation with Burleigh travel highlighting all issues and there simple answer was they had nothing to answer too and the bus company in Belgium had refused to pay any sort of refund because they hadn't done anything wrong or caused any disruption. We have used this so called travel company over 5 times and the way that they have dealt with us this time has left a bitter taste and i would not recommend them and will not be using them anytime in the near future as i believe they are only interested in what they can get out of you and not providing a fair and understanding customer service. DO NOT USE

Poor organising at foreign side of tour. Flight had changed to an earlier time a few months before departure but Burleigh had not informed coach company. We were told to find a bar by the airport and wait for a few hours. We decided to get the train into Antwerp instead at our own expense and have tried to claim back the money for the coach that did not arrive and have been refused any refund. Coach for pick up to airport was also over an hour late leaving us cutting it fine for making the flight on time. Poor service. Avoid.

We had a hugely successful U12 tour. We stayed in the centre of Cheltenham, which ensured that we were close to a variety of activities in the evening. We participated in a well run series of games at Worcester, before watching their match against Sacracens. On the second day, we played a couple of teams in Gloucestershire. The tour was kid focussed and everyone believed it to be the happiest tour that they had ever participated in. Thank you to Burleigh for making it happen.

Burleigh travel were incredibly helpful, communicative and responsive in the initial stage. Once we had booked on to the tour, this ceased to be the case. There were a few instances in which I had to send a follow up email to get a reply.
A last minute change was made to the start time of the tournament and this was communicated last minute. This made it difficult for us to make changes to the transport we had arranged whilst touring.
Generally, the service provided by the company was satisfactory.

Have used this company for our last 4 rugby tours, they have knocked it out the park on all occasions. Fantastic customer service, easy to communicate with, they make you feel like part of their ‘family’. Highly recommend them for anyone looking for a stress-free time!

Burleigh Travel arranged Longlevens Rugby tour to Bournemouth, in April 2022. From Start to finish the process, was made so easy by the professional approach of all the staff. The tour pack info was user friendly, and had all the required info. The fixtures arranged were spot on. The coach driver on the trip could not do enough, going out of his way to make life easy for all the tourists. This is the second time I Have used Burleigh Travel this season as they organised our Pe-season tour to Torquay. The same service was afforded to us as previous. Burleigh were fantastic with every little detail to ensure that our tour to Valencia was a huge success. The teams we played were fantastic, had brilliant facilities and were all very hospitable afterwards, providing drinks and one team even cooked paella for us after our game. Our buses were always on time to pick us up and we never had any moment of panic or ever had to wonder where something or someone was, the whole tour was seamless. David Peachey who was handling our tour was particularly helpful and was in constant correspondence with us beforehand to ensure we were fully equipped and prepared. The itinerary that was produced contained every piece of necessary information we needed to ensure that everything ran smoothly. I cannot recommend Burleigh enough and will certainly be using them in the future. Bring on 2023!

I have been working with Burleigh Travel for almost 3 years to make our mini’s rugby tour happen. Obviously covid made things more difficult, however the communication and professionalism from the Burleigh team was fantastic and as things changed they remained flexible to our wants and needs.
The tour itself was well organised and extremely good fun. Every child and coach had a great weekend.
The whole process was easy to organise and I would recommend them to any team.

We had a lot of disruption to our team management this season and so our tour plans were very behind! Along came Burleigh Travel to the rescue in late October no less!

They gave us some great touring options, were very very patient and really accommodating when it came to trying to get all of our finances together at the last minute.

The whole process was seamless and no hassle at all. Every question was answered quickly and with reassurance as booking a tour was a new experience for me!

More importantly our lads had a fabulous time, no phones in sight and they enjoyed every activity. Even the ones they said they weren't going to do at the beginning! They learnt so much not only about themselves but also each other over the weekend and this really came through in their game play at the festival. It was also a great opportunity to get to know each other as parents and make some further plans for next year.

After 2 years of Covid disruption we finally got to tour again, and what a fantastic tour it was! The whole team from Burleigh were fantastic, both in the lead up to the festival and over the weekend itself. Carolyn was always on hand to answer questions and it was lovely to meet her and the team in person at the festival. We had a brilliant weekend and wouldn’t hesitate to book with them again! Roll on 2023!

Fantastic weekend of rugby. Our first rugby festival with Grasshoppers, really well organised, great venue, facilities and catering. Brilliant to see so many teams enjoying themselves.

What an amazing rugby tour! The nicest, most helpful organisers of a brilliant event - well organised, efficient and helpful staff - would highly recommend this tour company to anyone. Great fixtures, great rugby, great social side for all the family and fab accommodation. Being back on tour with the kids has been fantastic, all made possible with fantastic tour company!
