We were sold Linoleum for our kitchen floor by Stuart at Carpetright in Hermiston Gate Edinburgh, he was very professional and talked us through everything from start to finish. Had it fitted on Wednesday by Colin the carpet fitter, he was also very professional and as my husband is a below knee amputee, Colin was more than happy to move any items that needed moved and put them back. Would highly recommend both of these guys and Carpetwise for good value. Definitely be going back again for my hall carpet.

Great help from Alan who did a fantastic job in helping me achieve my budget without compromising on quality. Easy to talk to and extremely efficient. Our carpets were fitted by Keith. Very hardworking gentleman and fitted the carpets perfectly. All in all 10 out of 10!!

Instore service was brilliant, very helpful. The fitter on the other hand disgusting moaned about the work as we have a very awkward window bay and kept swearing while my 6 year old niece was in the kitchen area. Smelled of body odour also which was very uncomfortable to have to be in the same room as. The carpet seems lovely though it is coming up slightly near the door. We bought last month and was very happy with the instore service

Aron in-store provided knowledgeable advice during carpet selection, ensuring a smooth purchase experience. While underlay and fitting charges could be more competitive, the staff and service were brilliant. Delighted with our new carpets overall!

Very badly laid

I had a mixed experience at Carpetright Limited in Ipswich. While some staff, like Terry, were very helpful and knowledgeable during my visit, there were issues with services and communication that left room for improvement. I recommend checking terms closely before purchasing. Overall, an average experience that might work better for straightforward needs.

Carpetright Limited has been reliable for years, with helpful staff and good deals. However, my last visit was disappointing as assistance felt lacking, especially given my mobility issues. The store’s closure is unfortunate, as it held great bargains and friendly service in the past. Mixed feelings overall.

So far in my new house I’ve had three carpets from Carpet Farnborough and I want to highlight the wonderful KELLY who on the two occasions I’ve been into the branch has been both incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about the products. I still have several rooms to redecorate and I wouldn’t dream of going elsewhere because of the exceptional service from Kelly. Thank you!

Also known as Urmston Carpets. Advertised as being free fitting, free underlay however that was a lie as I was charged for both of these separately. I had to pay 2 different men on the day of the fitting to separate bank accounts as advised by the shop. I was charged for everything, nothing was free. The guy who fitted the laminate advised on the day he'd need to chargee an extra £20 to remove the door to fit the flooring, as those wasn't included and another £20 to remove the kitchen kickboards. Ontop of the this he didn't reattach the door properly which no longer shuts, rang the shop to ask for support, heard nothing since, this was about 5 weeks ago. Lies, misleading, poor craftmemship, not particularly good value for money, laminate fitter had a bad attitude and spoke to his apprentice like dirt, what a sad little man.

I had an unexpected rush on to redecorate and carpet a room at my house in New Malden for the first time in 25 years (for this room), ahead of furniture items arriving in mid April 2025. As soon as the decorator finishes at end March / early April, the new carpet can be laid ready for the new items.

From a standing start of a call I made at 11am on Weds morning 19th March to Carpetright in the New Malden branch, I spoke to the very helpful Saurabh in-store who advised early measurement and to come down to Shannon Corner and choose what I wanted for the earliest prospect of delivery and fitting. I was there for noon to see Saurabh, and he had a slot for measurement sorted from 2-3pm same day.

In fact, by chance their colleague Audrick who does the measuring happened to arrive in-store while I was there. As I'd already chosen the carpet, underlay and sundries in ten minutes (including being shown cheaper offcuts which wouldn't have worked out for me), Audrick accommodated me by bringing forward the measurement.

Once that was done, I was able to receive the proper calculated invoice by email and paid Saurabh over the phone, before 1.20pm. All done from start of call to concluding payment on a measured basis inside 2.5 hours. The order has been placed and the people I have been talking to did their absolute best to help me on my mission. Very impressed by these helpful gentlemen. JP

I thought it was just me but apparently they are indeed a rip off and refund takes forever!!

Recently had a carpet fitted for my lounge,bedroom and passage. Found the process used by Carpet Right stress free. It was down to earth, clear and relaxed. Efficient and no nonsense though. Lots of texts which I liked e,g when they were visiting etc. Fitter completed the job in 3hrs 20mins which I was happy with. Carpet good quality for money paid.Would recommend.

Our recent visit to Carpetright Whetstone was a pleasant experience. Dee was very helpful. Dee understood our needs and provided the necessary information to help us choose the right carpet for our staircase and landing and laminate flooring for the bedrooms. We had had our carpet measured and went into the West Wickham store to look at samples to order a carpet. Laura looked after us incredibly well, she was extremely professional, friendly and accessible and it was clear she was extremely knowledgeable. She made the whole experience a pleasure.

The service we received from Carpetright in Farnborough was excellent. We had a time problem and they were very helpful and managed to get our chosen carpet in very quickly. They booked the fitter who was also excellent. He arrived on time, very quick but very professional and left everything clean and tidy. Thank you for all your help it was very much appreciated.
