Outshone the John Lewis drivers who couldn't be bothered to phone the recipient and therefore missed the delivery. They delivered in two days of the order and were very accommodating for the delivery times. Thanks very much

Great products, services and delivery.

The delivery was on time, pleasant men delivering the dishwasher and installing it and even finding a small leak in one of my pipes. All left clean and tidy.

This is the second time we have renovated a kitchen. Both times Carters have been exceptionally helpful and have given us excellent advice. Their prices compete well with internet sellers but you also get their expertise. They are great.

Failed to plumb the new dishwasher in (twice!)
Had to ask our plumber, who did it in 5 minutes.
Disappointing, as have had good service from Carters in the past.

Good communication about when to expect delivery, which was free as we live locally. The delivery guys were great. They installed our washing machine for us and explained about running the first programme without laundry or detergent. Very happy so far with our Miele WEA125.

Carters are competitive on price, knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. They're local too and it's always good to support local businesses!

I bought two products. Really pleased with the large upright fridge. It was delivered and installed well.
However, the cooker delivered was not what I’d ordered. On contacting, Carter’s, they confirmed that the details on their website was incorrect. They agreed to change it and install it. However, I had to pay the difference between the two and wait a few weeks for it to arrive. I did think, as a matter of goodwill for my inconvenience ( as I had to be at home for both visits) they might have waived the difference in price.

Fair pricing , helpful , quick delivery , on time , good communication , good installation .

My mother, who is 78 recently moved to Saltdean needed some help installing a new hob to her new home. She has a pacemaker and needs the existing induction hob removed, as doctors say her pacemaker could be adversely affected by an induction hob. She called into Carters and the counter staff told her to come back with the cutout measurements. Then phoned again once she moved in, inquiring about changing to a gas hob, was given another phone number to call, who has not replied to her in 2 weeks. She will not be using Carters ever again, has searched business elsewhere and found them much better. Terrible customer service with no advice given, unsympatheitc and a lack of tolerence to an older person's needs.

I went into the preston Road Brighton store on Monday and ordered a new chest freezer that I had seen online. A friendly chap on the desk ordered the freezer for me and arranged for delivery today (Wednseday). Today two strong chaps delivered my freezer to my flat. Packaging all removed and ready to plug and use. The two chaps installed the freezer into the space that I had cleared for it. It was a tight squeeze and there is no way I could have done it myself. So big thanks to the delivery guys and to the chap at the shop that ordered it for me. Really pleased with the product which is almost ready for my first froozen food delivery. I will definitely use Carters again for my kitchen appliences. Thank you. JC
