I bought a pair of boots at the rodeo……

I bought a pair of boots at the rodeo… wore them for 2 hours the next day and they were to big…. Manager REFUSED to exchange for a smaller size or give refund… claimed that they had wear and tear….i wore them to work and couldn’t walk safely , foot kept sliding so walking 2 hours walking on carpet does not cause wear and tear… I now have a pair of door stoppers…. Will never shop during rodeo again my fault for not inspecting boots closely at the rodeo… lesson learned:

Cavenders.com has horrible customer service.

Cavenders.com allows you to place an order for items they advertise that are on sale, but then never fullfills the order.
When you check your order status it will say pending. If you call to check on it, they will tell you the item was out of stock. However, it's available back on their website at the regular price. And they never notify you that your order was canceled.
Customer service will not help you and will not honor the price you bought your item at.
My advice is to shop in store never online.

Awful experience

Awful experience, I do NOT recommend this store.
I bought a brand new ostrich belt. I noticed that it had some scuffs/damage when I opened it up for Christmas as it was a gift. I took it to the store in Rogers to return it.

The employee named Lincoln was very dismissive and rude. He stated that he could not return it because he “cannot resell this and make money off of it.”

My response was well I can’t wear it because you sold it to me as damaged.. He stated sorry I can’t help you.

I asked for a supervisor and he said he is a supervisor I asked for the manager, and I waited in the store for 30 minutes for her to finally get involved.

She was rude from the get-go and stated that I didn’t even have the correct receipt even if she wanted to help me she couldn’t I had to point out to her that in fact, it is the correct receipt and then she just blankly stared because she knew she was wrong.

She then stated that she understands that I filed a complaint with corporate and said so begrudgingly. She demanded to know who I spoke to at corporate and I said I don’t know it was just a person so she went to the back and said she’s going to call them to give them her story 😬.

She came back out and said that she’s refusing to help me and the corporate cannot force her to refund anything as well and that if I want, I can just go to the website and file some paperwork to request a refund and that I’m responsible to pay for shipping I said absolutely not. You’re going to refund it or I’m gonna file a charge back with my bank.

The manager Lexie, stated that I’m not allowed to file a charge back 😂. I told her that is my right to file a charge back and that I was just going to do so if she could not refund the damaged product.

At this time, she admitted that the damage was most likely caused by their own security device, but because I didn’t notice it at the time of checkout it’s my fault even though I have a 90 day return policy and didn’t even wear the belt

I will never shop at Cavenders ever again.
I have filed a charge back with my bank where I will absolutely win AND I’ll get to keep the crappy belt 🙄

This company ruined my husbands…

This company ruined my husbands Christmas gift. I bought a pair of boots and to go along with the boots I bought two jackets. The order said processing all three items for shipment. Only the two jackets arrived. They did not send any emails or text messages stating the boots were now out of stock. If I knew I would have cancelled the whole order and went elsewhere. So the order arrived today, days after christmas of which I was hyping my present to my husband. Now I'm in utter disappointment with two pointless jackets that this company wants me to pay to ship back. Im so frustrated! I would never recommend this nightmare of a company.

I’ll go to Boot Barn next time.

This place really disappointed me. I have purchased from them in the past and I always had good luck. This time I ordered a pair of jeans as a Christmas gift. The status showed pending. Every time I called, I would get an automation saying I was next in line and I would sit on hold for 45 minutes before I would hang up I sent a couple of emails before I finally got a response. The response I received was telling me the jeans were out of stock and they canceled my order. I don’t know why they waited until Christmas Eve to tell me this. If they would have let me known sooner, I could have ordered something else. I will definitely think twice before I order from this joint again.

I bought at felt cowboy hat from there and the person who shaped my hat used way to much steam on it and the put my hat in the box when I told him not to and now my hat has bubble up on both sides and is folded in I would not recommend getting a hat shaped from there and I only got to wear it twice and so am I going to be out of $440

Returns and Exchanges-Good Luck!!!

I was very excited to purchase a corduroy long sleeve dress by Wrangler on Cavenders.com. The original order came quickly, however, I needed a different size. I followed their exchange steps to a T, which frankly made me a little nervous that they made me print papers out to begin with-other companies are much more streamlined- and when the exchange item didn't come for several weeks, I called customer service. The woman who answered on the customer service line was plenty kind, however, when she spoke to the return/exchange department, they claimed I didn't provide exchange information and they gave me a refund. I sent them photos of the exchange forms I provided along with my package, and they failed to respond. Why would they lie? I won't be ordering from them again.

I recently purchased a Rodeo King…

I recently purchased a Rodeo King Cowboy hat on line from Cavender's boot city and upon receiving it, I noticed deep rub marks on the beaver felt in the front of the hat just above the hat band and blemishes throughout. They were having a sale on select cowboy hats and this one is a 10x beaver so I expected the hat to be in mint condition even though it was on sale. I still paid a bunch for it though. I made several attempts to contact Cavender's customer assistance but they seem to be non existent and after searching for other customer reviews. this seems like an ongoing issue with Cavender's. I guess it's take the money and run. Forget about the customers that keep these Yahoos in business. I'm going to keep the hat for now and eat the money I spent on it but I hope other customers use caution and do their research before buying from this company which can care less about their customers and more about making a quick dollar. Live and learn I guess. Never again with these guys.

DO NOT ORDER ONLINE

They didn't have the color/size I wanted in stock - but had 4 online with free delivery because it was over $75. They don't give you an estimated delivery date - but it does say that orders to Alaska or Hawaii may take 8 or 9 days. Alaska and Hawaii must get their online orders faster than Texas because at day 7 my order hadn't even shipped. I called customer service, and they told me they don't ship until 4 business days later - so it is still on time. What? I asked when I could expect delivery - and was told "soon". Emailing customer service gets no response. Buyer beware.

Happy Boy

I went to the Cavender's store on Culebra and 1604 and I had the best experience ever. My daughter was visiting from Canada with my grandson of 5yrs old and he wanted a special cowboy hat and Nate & Anthony went out of they're way to make this experience the best ever thank you so much for making his day great

I ordered a pair of boots from Cavender's online. They arrived way before they said they would and the phone conversations I had with them were a favorable experience. The boots were Cavender's brand ostrich full quill white cowboy boots. They fit like a glove right out of the box. They were so comfortable I wore them the day they arrived with no break in period. I wish Cavender's made more styles in their brand (Old Gringo makes them apparently which explains their high quality.). All in all a great experience.

Don’t get their gift cards! They cancel online orders with sales!

I have been a long time customer with Cavenders and asked for gift cards for Christmas from there. I had ordered 2 sport coats on their buy one get one half off sale, order #04061390 as soon as the sale started, that got canceled because they “didn’t have what I ordered in stock”. Customer Service representative Amanda Trahan could only apologize that happened and offered no solutions. I just missed out and this was after the sale ended. Customer service is awful with Cavenders!!!!!! Don’t ask for there gift card love cause your stuck with no help and them picking and closing to honor a sale.
