As an occasional walk in customer

As an occasional walk in customer, I expected fair service from a place located in urban area. Would expect courtesy, a greeting. Got neither greeting or courteous attention from staff.
My suggestion: train staff to provide standard attention to customers regardless of appearance.

Poor quality, rejects negative reviews

Ordered a tray that was of subpar quality (as most of their items seem to be lately), submitted a review noting that the surface was defective and it looked cheap, and got moderated for not conforming to their review terms. I read them and still don’t know what pointing out shoddy quality did to violate terms, but it sure seems like rather than fixing issues they’re just rejecting bad reviews.

Great Customer Service

I loved everything I ordered except one of the decorative plates came broken. I called and they sent me a new one, no questions asked. The next plate came broken too! I called again and they sent another one no problem, with the third plate coming intact. Yes it was inconvenient because the first two plates weren’t wrapped the very well, but they remedied their mistake and now I’m a happy customer! They’re awesome!!

never got my order

Bought a dining table paid for it and when I was ready to schedule delivery they told me they don't have the table. Karin the manager in the store was extremely nasty to me & she told me it happens all the time!! Oh really, that's a reputable company?

I’d placed an order 2 weeks ago on an item that had been back ordered 2 months and it arrived one week later which was unexpected but amazing. I also had a few questions regarding the buildout/materials and their team was SO helpful. This is my 4th time ordering online with cb2 and I’m always so pleased with how seamless the process is.

Pick up issues

Well, it was not surprising that I went to review this place and it had 88 % 1 star reviews. I drove an hour to pick up two chairs. Pick up hours are 8am to 7 pm.
I have been waiting for an hour and I was told it was because everyone went to lunch.
Whaaaat??!? Whoever is in charge is destroying your business.

Great Furniture

Great designs, good prices, solid customer care. I’ve order several items from CB2 including a breakfast table, a desk, lamps and more. I love their designs. I think their pricing is pretty good. It’s a little bit on the high-end still but better compared to other brands and I’ve had issues with some of my items and they’ve been very helpful in helping me to get them replaced.

The t-shirt quality is terrible

The t-shirt quality is terrible. I ordered a shirt for my husband that arrived with stitching along the collar uneven and white on a blue shirt. They shirt is not true to size and is very small. I would not order anything from them again. He can't wear it and they offered a 30% refund - it should be 100% refund!

This is the worst online experience I…

This is the worst online experience I ever had. I ordered a 12 piece place setting that came in 6 shipments. We have received 4 boxes so far and all dishes were shipped thrown in a box with a piece of paper between a couple plates and 90% of the dishes were broken on every delivery. Customer support ( after 3 calls and two hours on phone) credited back the order and advised I could just throw away broken dishes. I don’t understand why someone would ship dishes and not protect them and throw them in a box. I will NEVER order from this company again NEVER. Save yourself the time. One mistake ok…4 shipments all packed carelessly says a lot about how awful this company is

customer service not sincere to help

sale item out of stock. But redeemed 800$ gift card to purchase them. They shows in stock in the cart. Now CB2 only refunds me to the gift card which I won't need for purchasing other stuff! and they can't do price match for similar items. very not sincere

Outdoor furniture is crap

Outdoor furniture is crap. Bought expensive outdoor cement-like coffee table and it is not made for outdoor use! In one season, the top shattered. Worse still, when we called customer service they basically said “too bad!” They were willing to ship us a new one for 10% off retail. It would shatter again so why bother. CB2 doesn’t stand behind their products. Be aware and buy elsewhere.

The worst customer service ever!!!

I purchased 2 chairs from CB2. One was delivered from the warehouse and one from the showroom. The one which was delivered from the showroom had some noise. I visited the shop and inform them about the noise. They sent their representative to check. The guy confirmed the frame is broken and asked me to put in his report that I want a replacement! After that I haven't heard back from them so I had to follow up again and to my surprise the customer service agent informed me that it is misusage of the item and they do not wish to do anything for it. I visited the shop several times and discussed with them but they are refusing to provide any solution. When their QC visited to check the chair they did some test that made the noise worst.
I asked them regardless of why it is damaged they must offer a solution to fix the issue because I cannot use the chair.
They just keep on saying it is the misusage and they cannot do anything about it!!
The worst customer service ever!!!

Buyer Beware, poor quality and poor customer service

I just had the worst experience with the “customer service” department at CB2. We purchased their white Terrazzo OUTDOOR coffee table in April 2022, was delivered in June 2022. The coffee table was delivered for and extra $119, pick up was not an option for us. The table was delivered with a small chip which after waiting months for delivery we didn’t feel is was a big enough deal to wait several more months for a replacement. At the time of purchase I don’t recall covers for this table being available. They are now available but no where when you go to buy this table does the website tell you, “you must also purchase our cover to ensure the integrity of the table.” I just now went through the online process of purchasing this table. The cover shows up only in the “items you might like” area and it’s only in second place. The care instructions say to cover it, which I did (or move it indoors which is unreasonable for a 400 lbs table). I covered it as I do all my outdoor furniture in the winter and other inclement weather. When I went to uncover my outdoor furniture recently I was shocked and heartbroken to see the table falling apart…tons of chips. I attempted to glue a few (4 pieces) of the chips back on (of of the several…guessing 50-70 pieces). When I realized this was an impossible task I decided to contact CS. That was a total joke…they basically use anything you say, take it out of context and basically tell you too bad, it’s totally your fault and we will do nothing to help you. The only thing they offered was to help find a place for us to pay for repairs. The style of their items are good but they lack quality and CB2 doesn’t stand behind their products. I’m not the only customer with this exact same issue. One would think they would see a pattern here and do something beneficial about it. I feel over a barrel here. I loved the look of the table and we searched high and low for something nice for our outdoor space. Now our table is junk…literally in pieces. I am devastated and am feeling totally betrayed.

Btw - when people leave reviews, CB2 tells the customer how sorry they are and to reach out but as I just found out…that’s total lip service.

Updated - CS just emailed me offering $100 off and an additional %10 off with free shipping. While this is a step in the right direction (hence 2 stars rather than one as I originally gave, I’m not sure this is adequate considering the facts. You can decide. I thinking on it still.

The worst furniture buying experience of my lifetime

I order coffee table on March 5. They delivered the base of the table few days later. 45 days after my credit card was charged I am still waiting for the table top and have useless slab of wood sitting in a middle of my leaving room. CB2 refunded me for the top but not for the useless bottom of the table. The customer service is not helpful either. The worst furniture buying experience of my lifetime. Updating review as CB2 refunded me for my purchase and gave me gift card worth $250 for my troubles

White Glove Service????

Just had THREE delivery guys deliver a CB2 rug. They walk into the room with the rug and the lead delivery guy, heaves a big sigh. Just comical when I think back on it. In the middle of the room is a table that weighs maybe 20 pounds. It would have taken them (three guys!) 5 seconds to move it. Nope. The guy whips out his cell phone takes a picture and says "we can only deliver to completely empty rooms". Well I "completely" lost it and told them to take their stuff and get out of my house. Oh, and why didn't I move the table myself? I have a broken shoulder.

Worst return policy and customer…

Worst return policy and customer service I have ever experienced. Every purchase is a credit - well i don't need another rug or couch! They will never give you a refune and will not stand behind their products. One of the rugs sheds and I can't breath at night - nope, we won't take it back. Couch is off by 3" - thats normal! Do your self a favor and buy better quality furniture for real furniture retailers.

I bought a leather chair from CB2 about…

I bought a leather chair from CB2 about 6 months ago and storing use it couple of months ago because our place wasn’t ready so basically chair been used a bit and stoop make loud noise and store saying there is no warranty on their products!!!! I will never buy anything from them again.

Do not buy from this company. A t-shirt I ordered with lettering was completely awful. I tried to get them to do me right and they would not. They said you can read it perfect. Not truthful! I will never buy from this company ever again. Bad business!
