Absolutely awful

Absolutely awful. I wish I could stop buying from them but they have the marble furniture I want and no one else has. They ship everything so terribly. They will hold your 1000's of dollars for months while your item is on backorder, then they will ship your item so awfully it will come broken 99% of the time. I ordered a marble bar cabinet that took 6 months to get shipped, then the first one came broken. Second attempt- broken. Third attempt? BROKEN. Then they ran out of them and refunded me. So they held my $1500 for 6 months for me to get nothing. I swear they ship everything awful so they can collect insurance money and never actually get anything to their customers. It is ridiculous. I literally hate them. I have spent so much money with them too.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY

I ordered a guitar hat with my husband's name on it. I paid just over $50 for this ball hat. When it arrived the picture was not lined up and there was a big peak sticking up in the middle of the hat. I emailed them with pictures and they told me the hat was fine. My hat does not look like the one in their photo at all. They will not admit to anything being wrong and to return the hat I have to sent it to China which would cost more than I paid for it.

Terrible experience,
Had 4 lounge chairs on back order for 6 months when cb2 cancelled my order. I bought the chairs on big sale. Come to find out when I decided to see for myself if they actually had the chairs or not, well they had them in stock! They just didn’t want to sell them to me at the big sale price they gave me. I’ll never shop at cb2 again!

Dont EVER get on their mailing list bc…

Dont EVER get on their mailing list bc it’ll take multiple texts (7 different people over a month) to try to get off all while their CS agents confirm that you’re off. But you’ll still get their emails even when you try blocking their email address or moving into your spam folder. Not worth the time and headache IMO

1 star is generous. DO NOT BUY FURNITURE FROM CB2. They kept changing our anticipated deliver date. We ordered a couch and a book shelf in September 2022. They told us it will be ready for delivery in mid October.
Fine! They changed the dates to delay 4 times (e.g., mid October, then mid November, then early and mid December, then mid March, and now mid January). There is no good faith what so ever for this company.

Twice botched delivery

We purchased a couch early October, with a delivery set for this Wednesday.

The COI process was a mess, and it took many attempts to finally get someone at CB2 to answer and process the required forms.

The day of the delivery: nothing. No communication, no updates. Past the delivery window, I called CB2 which said the time has been “refused because too large”. No one refused anything, just a no show with a random excuse. An employee of mine waited all day in our apartment that day for nothing.

After explaining the issues to 5 different people, in repeated calls, I was finally connected with someone in the CB2 leadership who was very understanding and acted quickly for a re-delivery the next day.

Only problem? The re-delivery never occurred, and now it only is the person not responsive, but we have no clue when we should expect our couch.

Meanwhile, we’ve had to pay for many hotel nights for guests we were supposed to host and for whom we had timed the delivery appropriately and in advance.

Needless to say, we ain’t coming back CB2.

$50 non-refundable shipping and handling

Purchased a large mirror which was unopened. Drove to the store and dropped it off in person. I was informed of their non-refundable shipping and handling charge.
I am shocked at this policy for such a large company.
That was a $50 mistake. Simply awful.
Will think twice about purchasing from this company again the in future!!!!
It was really an exchange be because I returned the brass color to get the black.
Super disappointed 😢

Abruzzo Chair CB2--Looks Gorgeous but Bad Quality + CB2 Doesn't Stand Behind Products

Like others, I have had repeated issues with CB2 providing misleading delivery dates, but the most recent issue is product quality. After waiting 6 months for Abruzzo leather chairs--and not purchasing alternative ones because of false hope these would be delivered as originally promised--I was disappointed to learn that the quality of these chairs is not good. Wooden pieces are merely glued together; they are not joined in any other fashion. We don't even sit in these chairs and when I saw the wood was unglued and the arm and leg piece had come apart, I immediately contacted CB2. What I learned is this: CB2 does not stand behind its products. It took multiple emails before I was finally offered a replacement. Instead, CB2 scolded me for not telling them earlier about the issue (which I reported as soon as I saw). CB2 originally offered to dock me 30% and give me a gift card. Only after multiple emails did CB2 offer a new replacement chair (though I wonder if that quality will be any better). Then--when I submitted a review--it was "moderated" and CB2 wiped out my earlier review. This company and its products were once fantastic. That is no longer true. Spend a bit more and buy from Mitchell Gold or another retailer. West Elm seems to do a better job on quality and customer service. Also, MG stands behind its products with a lifetime warranty--for a price point that's only slightly higher.

I ordered a Christmas tree from Crate…

I ordered a Christmas tree from Crate and Barrel and it was supposed to come mid November, I ordered this in October. It then said last night it wont arrive until mid December and I was like WHAT! I can't have that. So I texted Customer support, they responded super fast, I asked if a tree they had at CB2 was available for shipping and in stock to avoid any delays, she said it was, gave me a 15% discount on the new tree and waived the shipping cost. She was great and I really appreciated the good customer service.

this company has to shut down

absolute the worst. DON"T believe in their timelines. Shop somewhere else

1) Charges you sizeable amount upfront. I guess helps them with their cash flow.
2) 0 product is available and every estimated time line is at least off by 4-6 months. They keep delaying every 2 months as they wish and people keep waiting.
3) Every time I made larger purchases (4 times). not a chance you will get it within a year

I ordered an $800 coffee table from CB2…

I ordered an $800 coffee table from CB2 in May of 2022 and was told it would be shipped in July. It was finally shipped the first week of October 2022. It was unpacked, and the piece was not assembled. It literally fell apart as they unpacked it on my living room floor. The movers told me they could not return it, and I had to schedule its removal. Turns out they cannot remove the crappy product they sold me till next week. Will I be paid for storing the poor products they try to sell people?

Garbage company.

I ordered a hat and it took well over a month to arrive. I contacted the customer service department at least 3 times before it finally arrived but when it did it was smashed in the tiny package. I opened it and the quality of the material was cheap, The design on it was not even lined up, and the words were so small you couldn't even read them. I again reached out to customer service and the responded right away with how sorry they were and could I send pictures of the package and product so they could address the issues. I said yes and no surprise I can no longer get in contact with the company. my emails come back as undeliverable and since I made statements on FB about how awful they are I have been blocked there too. This company is garage.

The order took over 2 months to be delivered. When it arrived, the custom printing on one item was completely incorrect. A rep promised the correct item would be sent. 4 months later, still no item and no response from customer service.

Horrible customer service ordered various pieces of furniture and they came broken received a call from someone in higher position accidentally clicked on her and no call back. In addition whatever they bring to your house be prepared for the worst unpacking of life that might just leave you a mess and no furniture. After waiting for a year…

5 replacements later…

I ordered a shelf and subsequently received five replacements - all six times I received a unit it was scratched or damaged in some form. Absolutely awful quality control on the part of CB2. They are by far the worst furniture retailer in terms of quality.

One star because I had to.
Ordered a cap beginning of June, it was 40.00 but it looked cute and perfect for my son.
Well 2 months later I emailed them, got the covid delay bull.
But they said it shipped, still hadn't received, messaged them again. Now they said it was delivered, but I never received it. I messaged and told them I hadn't received and asked what mode it was shipped by, of course now I can get no response from them. I guess they have their money so they don't care. Now seeing reviews I doubt it was ever even sent.
Please DO NOT order from this company!

So glad I only purchased a hat from these people as it came all shrink wrapped and scrunched. Did not look like the picture. It is cheaply made. I have been offered a 15% refund...what a joke.
