Unfortunately I tried to call your customer team on my mentioned subject many times result was not responding. Shocked with your team that no response from commercial bank of Dubai so far. Almost every thing is wrong, I don't feel safe with them, very frequent updates for the terms and conditions, and it's too long and very difficult to read.
Extremely poor call center, you have to wait for so long till you reach for someone to talk to you or they schedule you to call you back within 24 hours but they never call.
Many of the services are exclusively can be done over the phone (which is almost impossible to reach)

I have had a disappointing experience with your customer service. I received an incorrect credit card charge and, despite reaching out to clarify the issue, I was unable to get any proper assistance. I followed your suggestion to call the provided number multiple times, but there was no response from your team. This lack of communication and resolution has left me frustrated.

Zero star
If there were a zero, I would give CBD Zero Customer Service a zero star rating. After two days and waiting until 9 am to call customer service, no one answered after five minutes, and there was no option to view the transaction details. Please advise me if any emergency to send cash its take two days who will continue this bank also no customer service (call me please 0525747294)
Very poor personal banking customer service and access
Was a great bank years ago for mortgages. Their personal banking is really bad. It is impossible to get through to customer service. When you do you are then put through to other departments until the call drops. Dont fall for the ' press 1 and we will call you back', they never do.
I had fraudulent payments on my account and it's been nearly 5 months and I cannot get any information from them. If you want personal banking go elsewhere

Concerns regarding Charge Reversal Terms and Delayed Fee Deductions
The bank initially offered the option of reversing charges if I spent a certain amount within a specific timeframe. However, since I was going on leave, I informed them that I wouldn't be able to meet that spending requirement. They assured me that I could request an extension later. When I eventually did, I received no clear response from the bank. After multiple follow-ups, I finally connected with them, only to be informed that the spending requirement had increased.
Additionally, if the terms and conditions for movie tickets are not met, the bank charges back 50% of the ticket cost, which is understandable. However, these charges are applied 3-4 months later, by which time I may have unknowingly spent more, not realizing the terms and conditions had not been fulfilled.
Weird hidden charges
Hidden charges. I paid 300dhs for a movie ticket I purchased 6 months ago on card discount. They had a weird policy that makes the customer pay the discount back if did not spent 5000 in a year.

CBD- The Worst Credit Card
I was using CBD One credit card and it is my worst experience with any credit card. The charged me 154.25 AED for a movie ticket purchase which I purchased 5 months ago. When i call customer service they mentioned that I did not meet the eligibility of 50% discount, when I asked why I was given the discount 5 months ago when I made the purchase, they stated that It it our policy and you need to go to our website and read our terms and conditions.
I am using multiple other banks credit cards and no one uses such pathetic hidden terms and conditions which user needs to go to website on time to time and read it. And moreover they can change it at any time.
I will never use any service from CBD Bank either credit card or bank account. And will never recommend to anyone in my connections.

CBD Bank A Disappointing Experience
I am extremely disappointed with the services provided by CBD Bank. Despite being an established institution, the bank has failed to meet the needs of its customers. The lack of direct debit options for credit cards, frequent unauthorized withdrawals from cashback accounts, and a slow and outdated mobile app are just a few of the issues I have encountered.
Furthermore, the customer service team has been unhelpful, and sales representatives seem unaware of available offers. I have been unable to access a list of dining offers through the app, which is surprising considering we are in the 21st century. The bank's reliance on outdated technology is a major drawback.
If there were an option to rate zero, I would have done so without hesitation.
Horrible Service
I've been away from Dubai since April 2024. Attempted to call their hotline, chat the customer support to request to close my account but was advised to visit the branch. Went to the branch but was denied assistance coz apparently they are not going to close the account if there is a pending purchase which is our FLIGHT ticket on the next day! Requested us to send them a mail but no response! And the worst part even my card is a salary card and has always been since 2021 in the same company they have been charging me 105 AED every month since January 2024 ! Even my bank card is already 0 now I'm negative -420 AED for leaving Dubai, for not using the bank for having a salary card which is not supposed to be charge with this monthly whatever! I'm telling you no one is there to assist you!!!

I recently had a frustrating experience with Bank CBD regarding the reduction of my card limit and the process of closing my account. Despite multiple attempts to resolve these issues, the customer service team was slow to respond and unhelpful throughout the process.
It took an unreasonably long time to reduce my card limit, with repeated delays and miscommunication from the bank. Even after following all the necessary steps, I was left waiting without any clear updates or resolution.
When I decided to close my account, I encountered the same poor service. The process was drawn out, and I felt like I was being given the runaround rather than being assisted in a timely manner.
Overall, my experience with Bank CBD's customer service has been disappointing. I expected more efficiency and support from a financial institution, and I hope they address these issues to improve their service for other customers
Minimum spend related charges after 8 months
I got minimum spend not met charges on July 24 for cinema tickets that i purchased in Dec,23. Any charges if applicable should have been reported and reflected in max next month’s statement. I had already frozen my card in March,24 and was not even looking at the statements. Bad customer service, not reachable even after waiting on call for as long as 32 min.
