Be very carful when dealing with this company. They have failed to meet our pre tenancy conditions even after telling us that the work was carried out and taking our money. We had asked for the garden to be cleaned and to be left in a usable state and holes to be filled in the house. None of these have been done! We arrived to our check in to find the garden covered in glass, rubble and hardcore all over the garden and sharp metal poles sticking out of the ground. No holes have been filled in the house what so ever. We were told these have all been done and to make payment. We are 3 weeks into our tenancy and 6 weeks since we asked this work to be carried out. Chancellors have trapped us in a home by taking our money and not keeping their side of the agreement. We have been met with nothing but them putting the blame on the contractors and half hearted excuses. We have had to have the council attend to do a risk assessment. We also have complained to the directors and have been met with a bunch of empty promises and even tried to give us an insulting compensation amount when all we want is a safe livable home for us and our children. We have rented a few properties and this has by far been the worst experience. Chancellors one and only priority is to take your money once they have it they dont have any urgency to do anything even when they are in breach of a legal document. Im writing this review to warn others so they do not fall into the same trap we have. Even the company thar did our check in said that this is the worse house he has seen in his career and was shocked they have let it in such a state.This has cost our family more time and money than we could of ever expected and all we have got in return is lip service. We are having to seek legal advice and it is honestly our worst nightmare.

Update: After writing this review we are being ignored by the bracknell branch. Our children still have no garden is it still full of glass, we have sent a good few emails over the past 3 weeks with not a single reply.

Really bad service considering they are the ones who are meant to be maintaining the property. Complete lack of communication everything seems to be half hearted at best.

This was meant to be a home for me and ny family and now it has turned into a horror story.

I sold my house and chose Chancellors who were excellent, predominantly led by Aimee who was absolutely outstanding. She went above and beyond in her services where every request was met with a willingness to a help and a can do approach. The whole process was smooth, with good communication and executed with professionalism throughout. Would definitely recommend using Chancellors team. Big thanks to you Aimee for all your help!

I particularly would commend Ana McCormack for going over and beyond the call of duty to support my journey of getting a Mortgage Adviser to help with my very 'peculiar' situation. Aimee was a kind and patient agent. Things weren’t always right initially but she stuck with it and in general was responsive and always ready to help.

I cannot recommend this branch, and caution anyone considering their services to proceed carefully.

I had an extremely disappointing experience with Chancellors Estate Agents rega. I was pressured into paying an £86 AML fee and to use a solicitor recommended by the agency, with no clear disclosure that they might financially benefit from this arrangement.
I was not allowed to do a property survey, and crucial information about asbestos in the property was not disclosed until after I had already incurred significant costs.
When I tried to raise my concerns, I was met with rude, dismissive behavior, including being hung up on by manager Ged Egan. Overall, the lack of transparency, pressure to spend, and unprofessional conduct left me frustrated and out of pocket. Do not use this estate agency.

Aimee Bloomfield was brilliant right from the start , she was cheerful, positive, and helped with every thing we asked.

Molly knows her business and is a great asset to your company. Molly understands the need to ensure the tenants are managed and that makes for a good landlord experience.

From first contact, Chancellors were professional and efficient.
In particular Ana McCormack, our main contact, was exceptional . Ana always returned calls promptly, gave us sensible advice and was always friendly and cheerful. Nothing was too much trouble for Ana and despite our sale being quite long-winded and complicated, Ana was always patient and helpful.
Ana worked so hard to get us a buyer, going above and beyond to achieve this. The online dashboard Chancellors was also very helpful in keeping track of the status/feedback of viewings ourselves

Chancellors have made selling my house really easy for me, all the staff were very helpful and professional throughout. My house sold within two weeks of it going to market and I was very happy with the price achieved. I exchanged contracts with a couple of months, the whole process was exceptional for start to finish. I have recommended Chancellors to friends who are also looking to sell their homes

Great communication throughout the whole process and always quick to respond to any questions or queries I had. I had a very positive experience with Chancellors.

We were on a search for a home. We found one we liked and viewed this property. It is being sold by Chancellors. Whilst viewing this house, I asked if the semi completed loft conversion had building regs or planning, I was told yes. We find out half way through the process of buying that it did not. Anyway... they have tried to sell this house at least once before and the previous sellers pulled out. We found out late in the process that a management pack could not be obtained. Chancellors clearly knew this, but did not tell us at any point until it was raised in the enquiries. Both sellers and us went through their recommended solicitors. I wish we hadn't, but that is a review to be left for them.
We were allocated to sales progression team members who went on annual leave without telling us who would be taking over our case in their absence. One of these occasions was 48 hours before we were due to exchange. I was then assured that it would be handled and we would be updated, but then that person went on annual leave without telling us who would be taking over too. I emailed the generic sales team email about my concerns but never got a reply.
If I saw my dream house being sold by Chancellors I would absolutley knock on their door and ask them to consider using someone else so we could buy the property. I will never use Chancellors again. It's my first experience with them and will be my last. The lack of communication is unacceptable, especially when you are months in to a purchase facing issues due to enquiries.
It's a shame because they have a lot of positive reviews so unfortunately gave me false hope.
I was considering naming the individuals involved in the review who made the process stress and anxiety inducing but they have it all on an email that was never replied to so I doubt there will be any learning or changing on their part.
I was considering laying out the events from beginning to end but you would be here for a very long time.
All in all.... I will never use Chancellors again based on my one and only recent experience with them.
