Cannot provide the Service I have paid for!

To cut a long winded story short:
Emailed CMF regarding the covid19 border lockdowns and at the time Virgins response of all refunds. So asked for the full refund seeing Virgin cant supply the goods/service I have paid for on the dates required.
CMF reply to this was, Quote
"As per dealing with Air India (AI), you can choose between two options below if you can't take the scheduled flight;"
OK so I am dealing with Air India now, cool so that must mean that these flights are through Air India, whom cannot again provide the service I have paid for, correct? Wrong they now say.
Today I recieve an email from CMF Customer Care advising that I can have a monetary refund for these flights, not even a 1/4 of my outlay! as Quote:
"For the originally non-refundable tickets, we are offering tax refund."

Don't give me a refund as I wish to take the flights I have paid for please.. pretty simple.
and again Quote:
"Please be informed that at this moment, we can't guarantee the flight credit as VA has gone into a voluntary administration."
Excuse me, our flights are now with Virgin and its their problem?
So CMF, what now? Air India wont accept that they no longer can provide the service I have paid for, Virgin say we must consult CMF as they own these tickets.
I don't wish for a refund, I wish for the flights that I have paid for please. If you cannot provide these then what?
What is: a total run around by your Customer Care. I am only asking for my rights as a consumer please, without any loss to my original monetary outlay.

Worst Experience

Worst Experience. Singapore Airline cancelled the booking due to Covid-19 and this travel agent is charging $100 AuD for cancellation of bookings. I emailed proof of other bookings with different agencies who gave full refund. But their company policy states to charge people even during Covid Pandemic. Pathetic!!

I would give this company 0 star's if I could

I would give this company 0 star's if I could. The company pretty much assumes that it should be immune to any losses by charging customers a $50 CMF change fee for the inability for us to fly. A lot of the responses state that it is 'halved' compared to usual but booking through sites like myholidays, they charge FAR less for a change fee. In addition to this, they attempted to charge me a $57.50 fee for 'airline and tax' which I confirmed with Virgin was not the case for the flight that I intended to take. This site claims to be 'Australian' but there is nothing Australian about keeping people's funds without shared responsibility. I, like many other customers, will not use Checkmyfares.com again in future. I hope your $50 goes a long way for your business survival.

Extremely dishonest business.

Extremely dishonest business.
Refused to allow phone calls in the weeks leading up to my flights Refused to respond to my email until the very early hours of the morning before the flight was set to leave. I then believe they went out of their way to make the email more likely to end up in junk mail.

The email says if no response same day you do not get any refund for a cancelled flight.

Where is my refund!

It has been over 8 weeks, and they are still not paying the refund . I have checked with flight company, they mentioned the refund should be done by the travel agent. However, no one picks up the calls, no one replies the email!

Even 1 star is not deserved by this…

Even 1 star is not deserved by this dodgy company. No ethics. They have closed their call mechanism, no one can reach them. Not responding to emails and hiding behind excuse of excessive calls. No way to change my tickets or cancel booking. Really pathetic. Shame on you guys!!

Ticket Cancellation Chaos!! Unreasonable Cancellation fees quoted

Due to Covid-19 scenario, I have to cancel my trip 28/03/2020 to 19/04/2020.
Though under current situation most Air Lines are not charging anything for refunds. But when I submitted my Cancellation request through Email & from Site (Phone not working at all).
They came back with approx. 80% cancellation fees of total amount I had paid. Their site still clearly says AUD 140 per ticket cancellation charge, but the cancellation quote charging AUD 250 per ticket, on top of Air Line cancellation charges, which again Check My Fares says is AUD 400 Per ticket!!!! When checked the Air Line they have around AUD 60 per ticket cancellation charge.
I have mentioned all this to their Customer Support in email and haven't got any response back. On Air Line site it looks like the tickets have been cancelled, but still haven't got any update from CheckMyFares site.
I have no clue what amount would be refunded. If it isn't reasonable I would have no option but to got to Ombudsman Australia for resolution.

CMF-2020-03958 (cancellation)

Hello.
I booked a flight to New Zealand(CHC) - Melbourne - Bali - Incheon. But I heard that when I arrive in New Zealand, I have to quarantine it for 14 days. I am just a traveler, I don't want to be. We can't go to Melbourne because we have to quarantine it when we arrive and also Because I don't go to New Zealand. If I don't go to Melbourne, I can't even go to Bali. So I need to cancel. That's why I have to cancel all of these trips, and I want a full refund because of the coronavirus.

My travel date is 26th March 2020 with Malaysian Airlines, but due to travel restrictions by the government I won’t be able to travel now. I have been trying to reach you since 2 weeks. My calls are not attended and there is no reply to my emails. I understand these are tough times, and you might be busy. But not returning to mails/calls is really poor customer service. They are worst travel agency I have…

They are worst travel agency I have ever dealt. I have booked a flight last week in Malaysian airlines and the ticket has been cancelled by the airlines. They are not even picking the call or responding to the email request for refund . They are modern day cheaters. It's lie that they are telling that they can't even answer the customer questions.

NEVER. AGAIN.

I booked flights a year ago for March. Due to the virus outbreak I had to arrange Urgent flights home - despite dozens of unanswered phone calls and numerous emails and online form submissions asking for help in changing my booking or even cancelling it and requesting, I still have not heard anything. No calls are answered nor emails. I have encouraged all friends and family to avoid this service. I ended up having to buy more flights just to return to my country. I just want answers and my money back!!!!!!!

Avoid at all costs!

Took money for a booking and never issued tickets. Just sitting in 'processing' had to buy another flight and hotel t over $2k out of pocket. No response to emails and calls are not being accepted. Avoid at all costs!

DO NOT TAKE PEOPLES MONEY IF YOU CANNOT OFFER A SERVICE! THIS IS FRAUD!

Poor customer service- Refund request

Hello Team,
My travel date is 1st April with Malaysian Airlines, but due to travel restrictions by the government I won’t be able to travel now. I have been trying to reach you since 2 weeks. My flight is today in hours still no communication

My flight is today. Still no calls or updates on rescheduling it cancellation. It's really frustrating. No help. Direction less. No reply to emails. Just said will get back. When after my flight time? Never felt such helpless. I understand their situation but if travel date is today in hours they should deal it as priority. Don't know what's going to happen. Just wait wait wait. no response, no help, no information what they are doing for me.

I need to cancel/reschedule my flights…

I need to cancel/reschedule my flights on urgent bases and I am not able to get hold of anyone in customer support. Calls are not connecting and no reply from email. Even there is no interface in website to make changes yourself. Guys I want to reschedule my flight on urgent bases and want you to contact me asap..There should be some interface via which we can contact you. I know high number of calls are there however you need to manage those.

I am suppose to fly out with my family…

I am suppose to fly out with my family on Friday (20.03.2020) but due to the current restrictions and travel bans I am left with no option other than delaying my trip.
Now I have been trying to get in touch with checkmyfares for last 3 days via phone, emails and website submitions but not a single reply other than the automated replies.

Never dealing with these low life scumbags.

Really hope they suffer badly!!!
