Chipper cash is a scam pretending and parading as a real bank under flutter wave.
I received money using their usd virtual account from USA and they are requesting for the sender's government issued Id card and for what exactly? Why not request for my own (the receivers) ID.

They refuse to release my money which I received because of something of emergency and needs to be taken care of immediately.

They worst part is through all the platform both on their App, email, twitter, IG they are ignoring my messages and not replying to it.
Life or death situation and they don't even care

Run from this company they are fraudsters, scammers and criminals

There's fees to everything you do and its not 1,2or even 4 but but%5 but nooo it doesn't stop u gotta pay for your card now monthly and its just the same amount as you bought it l ike these guys are just money hungry and really good scammers thought i was keeping my money safe but instead paying it all up to these guys, im deleting my account fu k these guys

Worst app ever. They will scam you and there’s absolutely nothing you can do about it bc their Cust care is so poor you’d be lucky to even have a response from them. I deposited money into my dollar card paid for something online got a notification for the transaction with my bal Of $6 only for me to find out I’ve been logged out from my acc. No way to access my acc again plus my money gone. If I open the app, it’ll say error and tried logging in but it won’t take my number or mg email. Run oh if your money is valuable to you. Don’t believe these positive review bc when they scam you up you will cry. Scam!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I tried to pay for a certification exam that cost $395 and converted money to usd, i was charged 1777 naira per usd. the card was declined and couldnt pay. Converting my money back to naira cost 1568 naira to a dollar. Essentially I lost 90k, and still couldnt pay for the exam. Worst platform ever. probably just a front to steal money!

Chipper is the worst of the bank because of their customer service, my account is restricted and I have been trying to reach out to that customer service which have done little or no help, they barely reply messages and the account contain all my life savings which I wish need to use for my day to day activities. I am disappointed because I have recommended chipper to more than 3 of my friends but I guess I was the one that hold chipper at a high esteem

They will charge you alot of money and when you want to use their card to pay, youre supposed to recieve an 2 factor code from online platforms, but chipper cash never receives it or send it to you after charging huge money to fund and withdraw from your card. Glad have deleted this FAKE app from my phone

If there’s a -700 star that’s what I’ll give, they are not reliable if you have any issues they will not be fixed, and if you want to then remove your money, they will still charge you, the customer care are very useless, they are as useless as the NGN kobo. Nonsense. Wasted my time, money. I couldn’t pay for my flight because of this incompetent, inept company. You should be sued for damages. The dollar card is quite okay. Use at your own risk. If you have emergencies use something else.

Chipper is the worst! All these positive reviews has to be fake. Because there's no way it's real. Customer care is the most useless ever. They don't respond at all. I've been sending messages for 24hours now and I didn't get any response. Use at your own risk. All these platforms that don't have good customer care service, they're very risky. If you have any emergency or any problems with payment. You're on your own oh. You will never get a reply from them

I bought my USD card and I linked it with my Apple ID, it linked successfully but I couldn’t purchase any app from Apple Store. It was telling me that my purchase wasn’t complete. I decided to remove the card and put it back , but since then , Apple has been rejecting the card. I went as far as requesting to have a live chat from Apple support , which I did , and they said the problem is from my financial institution and not from them. My financial institution is chipper. So what can be done because this has been frustrating me. And I chatted with chipper customer care line but no response for hours now.

Chipper cash remains one of the very best app to receive funds in Nigeria, Ghana, Rwanda and Uganda.

I bet you, no issue, just fulfil the verification processes, your funds are save and secured.

I have used the app for more than 3 years and I have no issue with it... Customer service response is not immediate but you'll surely get a reply in an about 3-5 hours, I hope they work on that.

For me, chipper cash is 80%

Pros:
Although, I'm new to Chipper, my experience so far is not bad, especially executing online shopping with my dollars card - it's superb.

Cons:
1. Exchange rate is higher
2. Till now, I couldn't use the investment platform on the App.
This is because the upgrade address section is refusing to work for some reasons.
Customer service is working on it so I heard.

Conclusion
Nothing is 100% perfect, hence I will recommend this App for online payments - especially with the dollar card...

Your customer support is trash and the fact that Y’ll strategy is to keep deactivating our US virtual card so you can keep asking for $3 speaks lowly of you people. How many times will you keep deactivating my card over a subscription that your card cannot process which is not my fault cause I had the exact money in the wallet at the time.

Customer response is very slow. They don’t have a live chat with customer support I would say and it’s very frustrating. A transaction was made to my wallet more than 24 hours and not reflected. The frustration is I can’t talk to customer support so with that you hardly expect any support

Chipper Cash is a scam. When you send funds to your wallet they will definitely not credit you. A biggest scam platform and I’m going to write a petition to close down this stupid and scam website.

When dealing with international trade market 5% means it is too much high. Paytime 5%and withdrawal time 5%- if we are dealing for 100 USD it cuts 10 USD almost+some charges+USD rate? Is very inconvenient....

Chipper cash has to have the best customer service in existence. They have proven themselves as people who are trustworthy and here to stay. This people literally say yes to what other online banks say no to. And they will literally go through whatever stress is needed to insure the customer is always right. Which to the best of my knowledge, isn't even a Nigerian custom. If you're reading this to find out if chipper cash is the option for you, the answer is yes. I did my research before coming here to give this review cause on a normal basis I'm not even interested in giving platform reviews and I'm not affiliated with chipper at all
