Fake cheap copy DVDs - no box - total scam !! DO NOT waste your money ordering from this site - I’ve complained and been totally ignored 😡🤬

This company is an absolute sham and disgrace.I am surprised that they are allowed to advertise.I sent money for a dvd set as a present for my brother and also discovered a bogus unmanned telephone number.I proceeded to email them and there was no response even after three weeks.Don’t waste your time with these charlatans.I have requested a refund and will spread the word of their nefarious money stealing activity.

Scam site - you won't receive any goods and they can't be contacted. The phone number doesn't exist and the email creator on the website is rigged not to work through a fake Captcha box.
The giveaway, if I'd checked the "Contact Us" page would have been the pre-emptive excuses about Royal Mail delays and Coronavirus and not offering phone support that week.
I suspect similar DVD sites operate in the same way.

After 2 weeks waiting for delivery I tried to contact.
There is no phone number and the contact section has disabled the reCAPTCHA so it is impossible to send messages.
Got an immediate refund from Paypal today but wish I'd looked here on Trustpilot before ordering.
Please steer clear of this con.

This is a scam. I ordered goods a week ago. The company is not contactable by any of the mentioned contact details. They have had my money. This is a good con as I have never been caught out before. It was meant to be a gift as well.

SCAM. DVDs never arrived. No reply to my (several) emails. Didn't answer the phone when I called. AVOID.

Please avoid this company. I have reported to trading standards. This has been reported before. The company is not known to Companies House. It seems to be a scam. The authorities are at fault for not removing the website earlier. The only positive reviews are historical. All reviews in recent years are negative. The company takes your money from your credit card through Paypal, but you don't get your goods. The phone number on the site is fictitious and the online form cannot be submitted .

This is a scam company they take your money with no intention of supplying goods. They do not respond to emails from anyone.

Took my money for a Bluray showing in stock over a month ago, showed they got the order. Their own web site shows payment received via Paypal and still processing. Won't answer phones, email contact page does not work (deliberately?), the "prove you are not a robot" link doesn't work. Avoid this scam at all costs.

as others have stated this is a scam site. no orders posted. no emails answered and messages are im possible as their web page is delibderately fixed so it will not work. no phone number either. have reported to paypal as have others for refund. im very surprised paypal let this company continue to use paypal

This is a scamming company. They take your money and do not post the items out. I have emailed them numerous times and had no response to Amy of the emails. Their phone number doesn't work and their PayPal email address also doesn't get replied to. Avoid avoid avoid.... this company has also been reported to authorities...

I've ordered a Dr Who Patrick Troughton compilation DVD plus one other. Total £115. Paid by Paypal 7th June. Email order confirmation arrived immediately. However nearly 2 weeks later no delvery as yet so tried the help / contact line 0208 123 1333 and a voice message says this number doesn't exist. Tried to enter a message to them using their form for it under 'Contact us' but for no reason there's a 'Captcha' text to see check if i'm a robot... that would be ok but it doesn't work. I've tried Chrome and Edge browsers so my suspicion is its a delierate stalling tactic. With no way to contact them I'm feeling this may be a scam. Will give it a few more days then seek money back via Paypal / card.

Update 29/6/23 : Still no delivery and same issues with trying to contact. Clear scam. Avoid.

I made the mistake of giving this company a second chance after a tiresome experience some years ago when I had to keep chasing them for a box set that had failed to appear. On this occasion I sent them a cheque for another box set on 30 April. There was no sign the cheque had been paid in. I did not want to order the box set from elsewhere just in case Classicmoviestore were simply sitting on the cheque waiting to pay it in. So on 19 May I used the contact form on their website to ask if they had recieved the cheque. I could not send the from because they have at the end of their form a "I am not a robot" tick box and the from simply would not tick. So instead I came to the Trustpilot site which quotes a "support" email address and I sent Classicmovies a query by email. That doesn't work either - on 26 May I got an administrator email "the person's destination email provider has not been reachable or has not accepted this message. We have stopped trying to deliver this message." i have today 30 May given one last shot at their online contact from but it is still refusing to accept a tcik in the "I am not a robot" box. I'm reporting this company to Trading Standards. Unfortunately Trustpilot does not seem to offer the option of giving zero stars to a company.

Promises to send out order within 24 hours. Absolute nonsense. I would advise you to avoid this company. I wish I'd checked the other reviews before ordering!

Ordered a boxset on 18th Dec. Got an email saying it had been dispatched 20th Dec. Allowed a bit of time with all the xmas postage before looking into it the first week of January. Checked with the post office & they knew nothing about it. Messaged the seller 3 times since for help & had no replies. Total SCAM. Do NOT order from this person, i will be taking them to trading standards & i suggest anyone else do the same.

Dave Thomas.I had excellent service from this man .I ordered a box set of dvds unfortunately,one disc was missing.He sorted it all out for me and sent me the missing disc.My son is so happy now with his box set.I would definitely recommend this company

This person is a total rip off, please please please don’t order from him, as you won’t receive your order and your be out of pocket.
I ordered a dvd on the 18th of November and still waiting.
I’ve sent 3 emails and no response.
No phone number.
Thank god I only ordered a dvd worth £22
No wonder his prices are cheap as he never sends any out from the recent reviews I’ve read.

Used to be a good company in the past. I'd avoid now.
Despite 4 emails, I have had no response, for an order made way back in October. Phone line is out of order as well. Very poor service.

Placed order 12th August. Informed goods dispatched but no pod and not received. Message on website stating not accepting phone calls and it is not possible to send a message. Be VERY VERY CAREFUL before making any payment!

ordered and paid 26th May 2022. No goods received, no acknowledgment of e-mails, no refund. The telephone number as shown is unobtainable.
