The person I spoke to was very polite and nice, so I am giving her 5 stars. The whole affair however seemed like a waste of time. I was referred to one company, a company I already knew and that was that. I fail to see where the comparison happens.

We’re sorry to hear that the overall experience left you feeling that the process was a waste of time. We completely understand your frustration, particularly as the company you were referred to was already known to you.
We do want to clarify that not all suppliers meet our criteria to be part of our network, so the comparison available to us is based on the suppliers that have passed our requirements and are available to take on new work at the time of your enquiry. Unfortunately, on this occasion, we only had one suitable supplier available to refer you to.
Our supplier network also changes throughout the day. Suppliers can temporarily switch off or stop accepting new enquiries once they have received enough work, which can reduce the number of options available at any particular time. If the other suitable suppliers become available again, we’ll be happy to let you know.
We appreciate your feedback and understand why you would have expected to see more options. We’ll continue to work on making the process and how our comparison service works clearer to customers.
