There were two servers, who seemed to be sharing the same till/computer screen, so I thought maybe one was training.
However, the male server seemed to take over, and with both of them serving me, my order was wrong from start to finish.
I ordered several items:
a chicken salad roll on white bread, no spread, no mayonnaise. The chicken was sparse, there was no tomato included, and the lettuce was brown.
I also asked for a hot chicken salad roll, on brown, no spread and light mayo. I got a white roll, with spread, and salad of brown lettuce and cucumber, no tomato or onion. He did correct it, by taking the filling out of the wrong roll and putting it in a brown one, almost adding spread, which I had to repeat was not required.
We also had 2 cherry danish pastries, both of which seemed stale, a large cup of tea and a regular latte.
This was a really disappointing experience as other outlets in Skegness, Mablethorpe and Sutton on Sea have always given exceptional service and quality.

Manager needs retraining in costumer service. raising her voice after selling out of date drink. Saying she giving a free one to you no she isn't it was already paid for but instead it was free so we wanted the free one on principal. Even your staff looked embarrassed at your behaviour.
You definitely don’t check dates because you had to ask where the date is on the drink. When i spoke to you on the phone.
The drink had march 2025 on and we are at the end of may it should have been off sale on march 1st.

Wow bought a Steak Bake and a Chicken Bake for the shop on Endyke Lane ,Hull and There was Hardly any Filling in them How Dare you charge £2.10 per item This is down right Robbery.I've taken Pictures to Prove this..Which will now be uploaded for everyone to see

Sick of the rewards card and in-store advertising. Got to the free meal deal stamp and not every sandwich is included despite the point of sale stands stating clearly "any sandwich". So I go for one of tge pre made sandwiches which are always stale, a drink and a dessert which I knew I'd have to pay for regardless only to be charged for that plus the drink. I was told that the free meal deal only applies to the sandwich even though it states very clearly That it's a free meal deal. I'll be taking my business elsewhere from now on.

I just came in for some cheese straws and I like them warm and the young lady behind the counter offered to put some in the oven for me too service

I am a Job Coach at a local college and I work with students who have an EHCP. We were lucky for our students to be able to have a visit at Cooplands factory, based in Durham. The tour we had was absolutely amazing! Our tour guide (Pete) was so friendly and informative. The factory environment was not what we all expected, it was spacious, not overcrowded for our learners and such a welcoming environment. Several of our learners commented on how happy every single employer was. Thank you so much for the experience. Oh, and the products we sampled were of course, scrumptious.

Friendly helpful staff and enjoyable sandwich. Shop was filled a great choice of goodies. There pack of 6 bread buns are excellent value £1. Visited Elvet branch, Durham City. Thank you!!

Just been to the Hartlepool branch this morning to get my scotch rolls and a quiche for my lunch.Thought I would treat myself to a strawberry tart,if I would have seen them wouldn’t have bothered,half the size and £1.70.Last 1 for me,hate getting ripped off.Will go elsewhere for the rest of my bakery items too😠

Not impressed by the service in the 20 high row branch in Darlington, everywhere else i don't have a problem. the biggest reason for leaving the review is the absolute moron who drives the mobile mini truck that stops around several businesses in Darlington and surrounding areas. Instead of waiting for foot traffic to clear, he'll toot his very loud horn for up to 10 seconds, most of the time he won't even come to a stop and he'll be doing it without hesitation no matter who is around. I was once 6 metres away from him, he could see me, hand still welded onto the horn regardless. I had to walk away twice as i didn't need the aggro that day but he really annoyed me, pip your horn to alert the customers to your presence but if there's 1 guy in a car park, have some class, wait 20 seconds, it's every day he does this, not a good look with Cooplands plastered on the sides, members of the public going about their business he rocks up driving tol fast, breaking site speed limits, scaring the life out of Joe Public, i order Cooplands every now and again but BS like this, i get tempted and have not bothered in the past due to this pig ignorant idiot.

Was charged £18.05 for pasties ect put card in lady it hadn’t work and to do it again when I looked at bank statement the following day had been took twice went back to shop not helpful at all said ring customer service I have rang a lot of times say busy and to leave number for call back I have and there will get back to me no joy left voice mail and messages to email heard nothing !!!!!!!!!! Been a week now no response shocking

I was not impressed with coop lands sausage rolls made me sick every time I eat them and they were cold too

Over charged £3.20 for a bottle Lucozade priced at £1.70 and a Toffee apple puff pastry £1.30.Not impressed in the East Hull.

Same Lloyds (Chemist) & Herons,invisible vat to put the customer quid out of their pocket,add a bonus to their workers wages.

First of all 5 bacon
Then last week 4
Now today 3 on a large bread cake yet your pictures show 4 slices in a small bread cake yet you charge me 3.00 for just a bread cake shocking not good at all

Manager was funny with me through out, giving me death glares the lot just because I didn't have time for her to put food in the ovens when there was the product right in front of me warm ready and waiting. Apparently didn't refuse to sell me warm products. Made a complaint to head office and and to wait on them to speak with staff. They spoke with staff, the manager in question, and what do you know she hadn't done and wrong at all, she hadn't been shouting at me, she hadn't spat on the food, with the herpes simplex virus on her lip, she had been pleasent with me throughout my time in store, she hadnt been shouting and being very challanging towards me at all, and of course head office has taken her word on things. Apparently only asking me to leave because I had verbally abused her. No I will stuck up for myself, if someone is having goes at me I will have goes at them. I was not the one shouting and screaming. I only went in to get sausage rolls and a cookie monster, they should not have people like that working for them. Head office should watch and listen to the cctv from the event. They will see exactly what happened. Coulby Newham Middlesbrough store shame on you! Even after raising the complaint to head office they are sticking with their staff, they should of just watched the cctv and they would clearly see what happenend.

Every branch I've been in does not seem to follow hygiene rules for handling unpackaged food. They handle cash then touch food without using hand gel or wearing blue gloves. Not good!

Myself and my husband have been going to the Sandgate bakery ingleby Barwick over a couple of years now and I felt the team over there needed some well deserved recognition. Such lovely ladies and always have a smile for everyone. Special mention to Karen & Caroline these ladies brighten our morning making our coffees before our dog walk. Keep up the fab work ladies your all fantastic.

My wife and I ordered 2bacon sandwiches, from Hidertorpe branch ,Bridlington on arrival they were hardly warm..I don't normally complain about fast food but these were unedible..cold bacon ugghh...the cleanliness of the store also left alot to be desired..sorry but not impressed....

Husbands farts awful since eating the sausage rolls, even worse after the pasties. 2 stars though because the food is quite nice, but avoid as it can cause serious mincers xx
