Avoid....not a UK company despite the web address, no delivery date...won't repsond to emails or answer the phone...no idea if I will actualy get what I have ordered so had to buy from another company.....

I’m extremely disappointed with this company. I returned my order in full, exactly as I received it, the very next day. Now they are claiming that they only got back half of the items and refusing to acknowledge the rest. This is completely unacceptable — I sent everything back, and I know exactly what was in that package. Either they lost it or they’re not being honest, but it’s unfair to put the blame on the customer. I will not be ordering from them again, and I would caution others to be very careful before doing business with them.

Terrible experience. Bought cork tiles and paid the price quoted at checkout. The website is a .co.uk so it looks like you're buying from a UK company and it states "always free shipping". However, on receipt of the tiles we also got a Duty & Tax invoice from FedEx for £63.94. It turns out that the company are in Poland. At no point before we made the purchase, or after, were we informed of this. We challenged it with Corkstore24 who told us that it IS made clear at the point of purchase and directed us to a tiny link to "terms and conditions" that appears at checkout. The information is buried within this, but you would need to click on it and read it thoroughly to find it. So it is definitely not clear. We would never use this company again.

The slowest company ever. Failed to inform me that they didn't dispatch the product because they didn't have one in the stock... (after 8 days!!!!!!!!)
Then contacted me and promised a next day courrier to deliver similar product and failed that too. Didnt even bother contacting me.

I've been mislead and waisted my time.

I got caught like so many others with import duties and taxes from Poland.

The company presents well as a UK Company but ships everything ex taxes from PL - so if the order is over £135 then you’re going to get a big bill.

They’re obviously aware of the situation but continue to misrepresent.

DO NOT buy from this company!! Very deceitful. The UK website clearly states shiiping is free, but FedEx will charge you extra taxes. I will never buy from them again, no matter how good the product.

Thank you for my delivery of three rolls of 4mm x 1m x 30m. The quality is top grade and very well packaged. It arrived today in perfect condition with no damage at all considering it came all the way from Poland. Now this is why i only gave you 1 star, you state you are UK that's why i placed an order with you. I was completely shocked to receive a message stating i had to pay £58 customs the day before i take delivery. You let yourselves down by being deceitful to your customers and should be clear about charges at the payment page. Your website is very well set out and information is great but all of your UK customers have been misled with extra charges. My next step is to contact trading standards to see how we all stand by you advertising as UK and you are clearly not .

Fraudulently sold items from Poland though they pose as a UK company. The goods arrived 2 months late and were inferior in quality. Worse still had to stump up for a customs charge for shipping though this was not mentioned in original purchase. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.

Customs import bill requested by FedEx was approx 1/3rd the value of the order. Goods are shipped from Poland, but no mention of this or import taxes on the website.

I order the Coarse-grained self adhesive cork sheet 20x640x950mm with other items on the 15th July from the website saying it was on stock. On the 21st receive an email saying they run out of the 20mm and Corkstore24 are offering the 22mm without additional cost. On the 22nd I see the email at 8am I replay yes if it arrives on the 28th July. Corkstore24 could call or send a SMS on the 21st. I call them asking for details, Corkstore24 said I will call you back but they never did. I receive an email on the 25th saying they shipped the 22mm and couldn't know the exact day of arriving. Shipping 10days after the order without the correct required items.

Now they are saying that the order will come later because of the customs.
So far they never asking me cancel or return the items.

If I read the reviews in the first place on Trustpilot I never order from them.

IMPORT TAX is not in the final sale plus they sent tiles that do not match the description by a long way but will not accept a return, rather they changed their website pictures!

Thieves. I lost £350, AVOID-AVOID-AVOID!!! They will never answer your emails.

Unfortunately I didn't read reviews prior to buying. Weeks after ordering, nothing has arrived and no contact has been made, and not through lack of trying. They've made it very difficult to get in touch on purpose.

BEWARE! This company is based in Poland and after your order has arrived you will receive a whopping customs bill plus handling (!) from the carrier. There no indication of this on their website unless you know to look...

Like everyone else I really wish I had read reviews before spending 80 quid on cork tiles. They were due to be delivered a week ago. No way of getting in touch other than email which they don't answer and looks like 1 have an 11 digit code for Hermes (can't remember new name) when you need 12. Gonna look to get my money back but don't know where to start.....update an hour after writing this I got an email apologising for the none reply saying that they didn't have the colour I ordered in stock but it was due to be coming in tomorrow. So I don't know how they told me last week it was on its way and even got a email from Evri (new hermes) saying they had it and were on there way. Something well dodgy. If it shows up and I have to pay like some other people have done. I will not be paying and they can keep it

Should have looked at this before ordering!
Wasn’t clear it was not in UK and they have a uk email address which leads you to believe it’s uk based. I ordered and paid with credit card to be on safe side. When it hasn’t arrived I contacted them and they said I need to pay duty via a customs link which isn’t clear either. Haven’t a clue what to do now and emails don’t get replied too!
I’m trying to get a refund now and I am looking how to black list this store

Like so many others leaving reviews, I have been burned by this company pretending to be in the UK. If you are not satisfied with your order then you are informed that you can't return the product without spending a fortune on delivery and customs charges. There is no realistic returns policy, and they make no effort to offer a solution. Appalling customer service.

Very poor. The delivery was late by a few weeks and in addition we had to pay an additional £40 to a third party company for the delivery charge which wasn't covered by corkstore24.co.uk and wasn't made obvious when we place the delivery.

Very poor consumer service.
Highly disappointing.
Not based in the UK despite the name.
I do not recommend.

Wish I'd looked on here before I fell victim to this scam. Buy your cork products elsewhere folks. Would have no stars if possible.
