I would give the 0 stars if I could with them there customer service is none existent still waiting on supervisor to ring

There a disgrace to deal with I would not recommend them to anyone I have actually closed my account solely down to the customer service

I would give them no stars as per customer service. I tried to close the business and they didn't even want hear anything. Keep shouting and threat as I'm not the account holder even though I just wanted to pay extra month for bin collection fir my husband. Didn't want to speak with me at all. Irrational sick Stephanie working there. No direct managers email contact, when I said I will complain she told me to wrote to sales team and when asked about who is her manager said like there was none you can put Sean, yeah attention of Sean. Disgrace not a customer service. Nationwide company but standards below mediaeval expectations. Frustrated employees should grab them self a vibrators and ask for holidays! No wonder why people leave full bins and won't pay for their collection, they are just neglected to receive proper information.

Last Tuesday 2nd of September put blue bin out for recycling and went to work as usual. Came home in evening to find the bin after recycling collection had no top and the white pins were stretched and broken where the lid is hinged and was witnessed by my neighbour that the lid came off as the truck was shaking it to remove recycling. I phoned Weds the 3rd of September to get it repaired and got a text on the 8th to put out on the 9th and the word in the message was repair. The repair van pulled up at 11.15 on the morning of the 9th of September 25 glanced at the bin and was gone in 30 seconds. I phoned country clean at 1400 and was told it was a new bin had to be replaced and I had to pay the 15 euro. The operator kept on repeating its policy for the bin to replaced I pay it. No conversation or quarter shown by the operator to resolve how can we solve this problem for you as it's not your fault. No compassion towards the customer just it's policy over and over. So I end up paying for the incompetency of their employees. If not no where for rubbish to go.

It's disgraceful that they don't have pride in customer care even with long customers.

I would not recommend this company at all. I’ve been trying for over a month to sign up to receive bins, and the entire process has been an absolute nightmare. Between unanswered emails and phone calls, their customer service is appalling.

One representative, Siobhan, told me I wasn’t on their designated route. However, the “closest route” she mentioned was actually the very road I live on. Once it became clear that she had made a mistake, her responses completely stopped.

I also tried calling the company, and while I was assured that my call would be returned, it never was. This is clearly a terribly run business with zero regard for potential customers. I am glad I never became one of them. Do yourself a favor and avoid this company altogether.

Very bad service,half bin rubbish left again this morning, never checked and customer service is not answered.....

I contacted Country Clean the day before my scheduled collection in July to inform them that I’d be away for two months and wanted to temporarily stop service. The customer service rep failed to mention that if the first collection of the month happens, I would still be charged for the entire month — even though I wouldn’t be using the service after that one pickup.

She simply told me to call back the next day, after the collection was done. When I did, I was informed that I now had to pay for the full month anyway — despite only receiving one collection and clearly stating I wouldn’t be using the service again for the next two months. I was told to make a manual payment for the full amount, and they would stop the service immediately after.

So, essentially, I’m being charged in full for a service I’m not receiving. Very poor communication, no flexibility, and no effort to support the customer. Just a money grab. Feels like they’re more interested in squeezing every euro from people than actually providing fair or transparent service.
Not impressed. Won’t forget how this was handled.

Have been trying to get my glass bin collected for almost a year now and keep getting fobbed off, had a terrible experience with a Stephanie on the phone today who was awful to deal with, kept cutting me off and rudely hung up the phone on me.
Would never recommend this company to anyone

If someone in the office reads these reviews can you please ask your driver to slow down. His speed on Thursday morning collections in the Douglas area within parks is excessive particularly with schools closing soon for the summer.

STAY AWAY - For the fourth or maybe fifth time this company has yet again not collected my bins. Absolutely sick shit of their bad service and all I ever get when I ring to complain is "we'll send out bags"... I have to lug two bins to the end of a long lane but these people couldn't care less - absolutely incompetent staff and they seriously need a new (competent) HR manager as well as a whole new staff - picking up bins IS NOT ROCKET SCIENCE...

Frustrating Experience – Poor Customer Service

I rarely leave reviews, but I felt compelled to share my experience with County Clean. Their customer service has been consistently unhelpful and rude.

On several occasions, they failed to pick up a few empty (flat) cardboard boxes that were placed right next to the blue bin. When I called to ask why, I was told I needed to ring them specifically to request collection for cardboard. I find that ridiculous.

Also, two/three times my green bin wasn’t emptied. They claimed it was "too squashed," even though it was a standard bin for a household of two people and was barely full.

And today, I tried to pay by phone instead of using direct debit. The lady I spoke to told me it wasn’t possible, and before I could even ask a follow-up question, she said “Have a good day” and hung up the phone.

I’ve now decided to switch to a different company.
Would not recommend County Clean based on my experience.

Great service. Bins always collected on time according to calendar and text received for glass bin. I delt with Sean o Connor when setting up he was very helpful and I had the bins at my new house in a couple days. Very happy!

Atrociously bad service, just as usual in Ireland. First, they did not collect the recycling bin for many weeks claiming that it is "contaminated". Then, when a lid repair was ordered, they just removed the bin and it's not returned for 2 weeks already. In the meantime, my apartment is turning into a garbage dump because of their unwillingness to work and solve urgent issues. Will be filing a lawsuit.

My Mum passed away last year. We had paid up front for her bin collections and 6 months later we are still waiting for a refund. The last bin collection for her account was at the start of the month but I was advised that I would be charged for the full month. No goodwill there!! They have fobbed me off with refund meetings and then it was because the empty bins were not collected. Eventually 5 months later they advised me to get a Solicitors letter. I have requested information for this letter 3 times and still not the courtesy of a response. It has been an appalling experience and would not recommend them to anyone.

Absolutely horrible customer service. I didn't get the name of the woman I spoke with. I tried to explain that the bill hadn't been paid because my father recently passed. When trying to work out how to get the service back up and running, she kept cutting me off and saying you have to pay this, you have to pay that etc. Rude, condescending, passive aggressive behaviour without an ounce of compassion. I will be taking my business elsewhere

I set up my account on country clean and the service was very quick seamless and easy via Sean. Collections are on time since I commenced with them so I’m happy with the service even got my bin sooner than expected.

I had the misfortune to deal with Sinead Buckley today, the most unprofessional person I ever had to deal with. I immediately asked to close my account after our bins were left on street with zero communication from them in two weeks..I refuse to give my business to any company with such appalling communication and customer service. Total abysmal carry on.

Dealt with Sinead Buckley - very unprofessional and rude. Trying to get an account closed for my mother who passed away and was told that the death certificate was not enough and I have to get a solicitors letter to 'prove it's legit' every other utility company myself and my family have dealt with have been so understanding and professional. Disgusting people to deal with. Sinead Buckley I hope you never have to deal with someone like yourself at such a difficult time.

I had to contact Country Clean today, and dealt with Sophie. She was friendly, cheerful, and took the time to patiently address all of my questions. Great customer service!

Very unprofessional and untrustworthy company. They cancelled collection due to „adverse „ weather conditions and never issued a date for new collection. I bet they won’t refund for non collection
