Very Poor Customer Service at Currys Fosse Park.

I had a really disappointing experience at Currys Fosse Park on 20 October, between approximately 6 pm and 7 pm. Two employees were involved, one called Harby and another wearing a Samsung T-shirt, who may have been a Samsung representative.

Both employees kept pushing Samsung TVs and repeatedly told us that LG and Sony TVs were not good and that Samsung was the best. Rather than giving us honest, balanced advice, they seemed more interested in convincing us to buy Samsung. In the end, I purchased an LG TV anyway.

The service got even worse when I asked about a wall-mounting bracket and whether it included all the necessary screws and fittings. The response was basically, “I don’t know, you can go home and check it.” Seriously? Is that the level of customer service customers should expect?

If staff don’t know the answer, they should at least make an effort to check instead of dismissing customers. I expected professional advice and basic assistance, not biased recommendations and unhelpful responses.

I hope the management at Currys Fosse Park takes this feedback seriously, investigates what happened and improves customer service. Customers deserve respect, honest advice and proper assistance, regardless of which brand they choose. Extremely disappointing experience.

We visited the store with a few washing machines in mind, hoping to find the best replacement for our existing faulty machine.

We spoke with Oliver, who was absolutely fantastic, extremely helpful and very knowledgeable.

We explained our rather complex situation, including the issues with our previous washing machine, the unsuccessful repair attempt, and the difficulties we had faced in securing a full refund. We also explained our requirements and budget.

Oliver took the time to listen, understand our situation and thoroughly discuss the different washing machines we were considering. Thanks to his knowledge, patience, honest advice and guidance, we were able to confidently decide which machine would be best suited to our needs and budget, which ultimately turned out to be one of our original choices.

He answered so many of our questions, cleared up our uncertainties and made the entire decision-making process so much easier.

What stood out most was how genuinely caring, understanding and patient Oliver was. We never once felt pressured or rushed into making a purchase. Unlike some sales advisors who seem primarily interested in making a sale, Oliver genuinely seemed to care about helping us make the right decision. He was more than happy to spend time with us, answer our questions and ensure we were completely satisfied with our choice.

This was especially meaningful because, during a previous visit, we had dealt with another sales advisor who was extremely unhelpful and lacked the knowledge to answer our questions. Combined with the difficulties we had already experienced with our faulty washing machine, that experience had seriously damaged our confidence and trust in Currys.

However, Oliver completely turned that around. Not only did he help us tremendously, but he also restored our trust in Currys and transformed what could have been another stressful experience into a genuinely enjoyable and reassuring one.

We honestly cannot thank Oliver enough for all his help, patience and advice. He is a real credit to Currys, and we sincerely hope his outstanding customer service receives the recognition it deserves.

Jess was excellent. She guided us through the various models of washer dryer, positives and negatives, measurements, installation and disposal of old machine. Huge range of machines available. Thoroughly recommended.

Did the job well; would be even better if click * collect was sign-posted at eye-level at the entrance.

The sales assistant was useless put the order wrong had to refund and start again thank goodness for the young lady that saved the day
Jess sorted out all the mess and arranged for next day delivery which was super efficient.
Delivery guys let us know they were coming and put the item in place and took rubbish away

Very pleasant lady served us well. She was polite and never rushed us.

I went in to Curry’s to look at the TVs on show expecting to be given the hard sell, however, I spoke to the Sony rep, Ozzy? who was very knowledgeable, answered all my questions and explained fully about the model I was looking at. No hard sell ! All in all very happy with the service From all the staff that I had dealings with whilst there.

Couldn't remember my order number male staff member was very helpful and found it.

Ordered online Friday PM, arrived Saturday AM; hadn't expected it to be delivered so quickly. Also, went to Currys Leicester store to check the model technical details. Assistant was very helpful.

Much easier to buy a laptop than anticipated mainly due to the excellent help provided by Parminder. She explained every stage and made sure we understood the best options available to us whilst giving us space to discuss and make our decision

Was ignored by the salesman after a certain amount of time. They spoke to my daughter instead. One said to my daughter make sure she does something like I'm a child. Please retrain your staff how to talk to people and not treat them like imbeciles.

Had a bit of a gremlin lurking in my laptop. I tried everything I could at home to remove it. As I purchased it from Currys/PC World, Fosse Park, Leicester, thought it best I took it to their repair shop for advice. Within minutes, Raoul had it plugged in to their life support system checking for hardware issues, therefore still under guarantee. Sods Law, it was a software issue. Probably something I uploaded by mistake, or something conflicting with something else. Raoul quoted me a variety of prices and repairs they could do. I decided on a complete Windows11 reset and backup. For a price, no more than a night out with a bar snack, I got the laptop back in two days.....as good as new. Brilliant customer service. No hassle. Thank you

Just lovely people and very helpful

customer service first class, I had to change product chosen 3 times because it was not suitable. Every time same level of service provided. First class every time. Bavna really good and helpful when selecting product well done customer likes you!!

Friendly and helpful staff, gave us time to look around and decide for ourselves, then came to us when we needed them.

I bought a TV with a two-year warranty, and it has broken twice. They keep sending it away for repair, and each time I am left without a TV for a few days. The service has been very poor.

It is shit company but unfortunately I don’t have any option……
