Getting it next day was superb and the delivery men went above and beyond to make sure all was well with you machine after they fitted it for me. Top marks all round!

Dear Customer Services Team,

I am writing to make a formal complaint regarding the completely unacceptable behaviour of a member of your staff at your Newport, Isle of Wight store on Friday 23rd October 2026, at approximately 1:30pm.

I am not someone who makes complaints lightly, but the level of rudeness, arrogance and complete lack of professionalism I experienced from a young male employee at your customer service desk was quite frankly disgraceful.

Throughout our interaction, his attitude was dismissive, disrespectful and unnecessarily confrontational. When I questioned why he was being so rude, his response was, "I was giving you sass."

I find this response absolutely astonishing from someone employed in a customer-facing role. Rather than recognising that his behaviour was inappropriate, he simply smirked at me, showing a complete lack of respect or concern for how he was treating a customer.

I would formally request that you review the CCTV footage covering the customer service desk on Friday 23rd October at approximately 1:30pm. I would also ask that this footage be preserved while my complaint is investigated.

As the owner of three retail stores myself, I fully understand the challenges of working in retail and dealing with customers. However, I also understand the importance of maintaining professional standards, regardless of the circumstances. If any member of my staff behaved towards a customer in the manner I experienced, I would regard it as a serious disciplinary matter.

There is a significant difference between an employee having a difficult day and an employee deliberately displaying a disrespectful attitude towards a customer. To openly admit to "giving sass" and then smirk when challenged demonstrates an attitude that I consider wholly unacceptable in a retail environment.

While I appreciate that younger employees may require guidance and training, basic courtesy, manners and respect should not need to be taught. These are fundamental expectations of anyone representing a business.

I do not believe this incident should simply be dismissed as a minor customer service issue. It reflects extremely poorly on your store and raises concerns about the standards of behaviour being accepted and the level of supervision and training being provided.

I left your store feeling thoroughly disgusted by the experience. No customer should be spoken to or treated in this manner, particularly by someone whose role is to provide customer service.

I expect this complaint to be taken seriously, the relevant CCTV footage to be reviewed, and appropriate action to be taken to ensure that other customers are not subjected to similar treatment.

I would appreciate a formal written response confirming that this incident has been investigated, outlining your findings and explaining what steps will be taken to address the behaviour and prevent it from happening again.

Very helpful and friendly lady served me, couldn’t have been nicer. The oven hasn’t been delivered yet so I can’t comment on delivery or fitting!

Power supply on computer went defective. Went to shop and a very helpful salesman selected a replacement and it arrived 1600 the next day. I fitted it perfectly. I couldn't ask for better service considering I am on the isle of wight.

Spencer, the salesperson, spent time explaining everything to me and answered all my questions, however basic.

Corey spent time and effort to make sure we had the best option at the best price when we went in store looking for our new tv. A considered purchase.
Tv was delivered today by 2 fab guys who also made sure our system was all set up and we understood how to operate.

A new fitted oven was delivered, wired in place and left hanging out of the cabinet by 1.5 cm.
This was despite pointing out the size to the sales person who checked with his manager that it would be fitted OK.

I purchased what i wanted straight away which was on the shelf product, with the price of how low items are (£129 for smart tv) i did not respect the hard sale of product insurance by the checkout staff , it is not worth the hassle with accidental insurance,

We were looking to buy a smart tv to replace our old TV. We went to Curry's Newport, Isle of Wight where we were met by Reilly. He was so helpful to us, answered all our questions, demonstrated how to set it up and where everything was located. He couldn't have been more friendly and helpful.
