Why does your web site not have a bricks and mortar address on your "contact us" page? According to .gov.uk your company was dissolved in 2024 - what's going on?

Thank you for your review.

To clarify, we clearly state on all applicable products that a percentage of each sale is donated to Alzheimer’s Society. This amount can vary depending on costs, but is typically around 10%.

We are an online-only business based in the West Midlands and do not operate from a public-facing premises. As such, we do not publish our residential address for privacy and security reasons.

Regarding the company structure, Darby Pritchards operated as a limited company until 2024. Following changes in directors, the business was restructured and now operates as a partnership. The business itself has been trading since 2019 and remains fully VAT registered.

We would also note that we cannot find any record of a purchase associated with your review. If you have a genuine enquiry, please contact us directly and we will be happy to assist.

After reading some comments from this company’s replies to customer complaints, I would not purchase from here.
Rude and unprofessional member of staff. Get yourself a new complaints manager, this one has put me right off buying

Stay away from this company

I ordered a forget me knots pin in support for Alzheimer’s I put it on and within 1 hour I noticed it had fallen off I contacted them to explain the back clip wasn’t tight enough to hold it the response was without a photo they would not do anything I explained again that I didn’t have the pin anymore so how could I take a photo they still wouldn’t do anything.
Please be careful ordering from this company it’s selling faulty products and are not willing to help. As you can read for yourself that this company does NIG CARE and are not willing to help please STAY AWAY I Wish I had read other reviews before I parted with my money

We’re genuinely sorry to hear about your experience and understand how upsetting it must have been to lose the pin, especially given the meaning behind it.

As explained at the time, we do need a photo of the item to investigate any fault with the clasp, as this allows us to assess what may have gone wrong and put things right where appropriate. Unfortunately, without the item itself we’re unable to verify the issue or offer a replacement, as the pin was no longer in your possession.

We take quality seriously and many thousands of customers wear our pins daily without issue, but like all jewellery items, they can be affected by movement, clothing, or accidental knocks.

We’re sorry we couldn’t help further in this case and appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback.

2 forget me not bangles

Bought 2 forget me not bangles.One for a friend whose mother has dementia . On receiving them they looked lovely but after 3 weeks they turned black. I contacted Darby Pritchards and because it was after 30 days of purchase by the time I contacted they refused to replace or refund. Such a shame as a very meaningful item but no empathy shown.
Sorry but do not recommend.

We appreciate your feedback, but we must clarify that our policy clearly states that returns or exchanges are not accepted after 30 days of purchase. As you contacted us after this timeframe, we couldn't accommodate your request for a replacement or refund.

Further to my last review of Darby Pritchard jewellery. I have now received tge replacement for my lost order thanks to Andrew the manager.
The quality of the items is very good. So the last review I wrote has had a happy ending.

Avoid at all costs

Do not trust this Company
My Wife purchased a forget-me-not bracelet from them sent off her postage details to them,no bracelet came she even got an email off them saying your order is on its way showing her correct name and address on contacting them she was told that the item had been delivered to her and that Darby Pritchard had proof of delivery and it was up to her to get in touch with the Post Office and sort it out with them they even sent a copy of it out to her,my wife pointed out it wasn’t her address they insisted it was,my wife told them to check their emails and asked for a refund the woman refused to give one.
The address the bracelet was sent to was in another County and after a bit of digging my wife found the person returned it via Royal Mail to Darby Pritchard as they didn’t know anything about it.
After contacting our bank we now have been told a refund has been received.
A very rude Negative person to communicate with We shall not be having any further dealings with Darby Pritchard
What a load of Hog wash this Company has used in its reply we have the Confirmation from them that they had sent the item out to my wife at our address on the 04//06/25 so how can the item be coming to the right address on the 04 confirmed by Darby Pritchard and end up at the wrong address on the 09 it must have already been in transit to the wrong address so where did they get the right address for Darby Pritchard to send
an it’s on its way email to from the buyer of course whose lived at the same address for for 38 years
They then stupidly provided proof of delivery to an address in another County some Thirty miles away on the18/06/25
We have those two emails as proof
so for the people who have read the rubbish they have tried to flannel their way out of this with
Darby Pritchard Please show on Trust Pilot any Proof you have such as proof of delivery that you have sent out anymore items before my Bank informed me a refund had been received from you on the 23/06/25
So what we have here is the person in the wrong County who received the bracelet on the 9/06/25 and returned in to the sender being Darby Pritchard by Royal Mail via his local post office then Darby Pritchard out of the kindness of their hearts sending out so they say another Bracelet not only that but issuing a refund as well! Wow can you believe it from a small Company that’s only trying to make a living

Actually the fault lay solely at your wifes feet. here is actually what happened. His wife bought a bangle from us and provided the address at the time of order. We posted it to the address in question and we demonstrated proof it was delivered. She then said it was the wrong address and tried to blame us for putting the wrong address even though we only sent it to what she gave to us. She then gave us the correct address and we posted the item as a goodwill gesture again. She claims to have never have received the resent item and after a bit of back and forth and us proving that she provided wrong address initially and showing her proof of delivery, we decided that we couldn't be bothered with the drama so just refunded her for an easy life. I am now appalled to see they have come on here and bad mouthed us with unfactual information. I suggest you remove this review immediately or I will be reporting you and taking it further.

I've only just found this website and was delighted when I saw the forget me knot jewellery as alziemers is close to my heart I ordered 2 bracelets for me and my daughter then just recieved my necklace and pin badges they are lovley and delivery is very quick definitely order from you again god bless

I love this bangle

I received my forget-me-not bangle and it's beautiful, very delicate and sits perfect on my wrist. Delivery was fast with care instructions included.

The item that I received was not as described

The item that I ordered was described as a brooch however the item that I received was nothing more than a glorified Pin Badge!

You are more than welcome to return it for a refund if unhappy. There are multiple pictures of the item showing exactly what it was you are buying. We have sold thousands with no complaints whatsoever. However, you are entitled to your opinion and we shall leave it at that.

Beware of Cheap Quality Products

Beware! They are selling very poor quality products. Bought a ring that snapped within 6 weeks. Zero customer service. They are not interested as it’s over 30 days. Rude to customers too. Could pursue as I have consumer rights but PayPal (closed in their favour due to 30 days) issued me with a credit voucher as they too were appalled.

What a ridiculous reply. I wasn’t aware 30 days ago the ring would break hence why I brought it to your attention today. It’s not fit for purpose. Your manner is awful and you have your conscience to live with knowing you’re ripping people off with poor quality. I have my money back from PayPal so no loss to me. Goodbye 😘

How dare you come on here and spread disinformation. Here is what actually happened. This person bought a ring off us on 3rd March whilst being fully aware that any issues regarding her purchase would need to be raised within 30 days of purchase. She came to us on 11th April and sent us a rude and abrupt message saying the ring had snapped and she wants to be refunded to her paypal account. There was no attempt to let us try to deal with it, just a demand of a refund. I politely replied that it is now outside of our 30 day policy and that as a result we couldn't do anything for her. She then threatened me with Paypal and called me 'appalling'. I explained my case very clearly and concisely and made it clear to her that you could have the most expensive piece of jewellery in the world and it can break if you pull it apart or damage it. if the item was faulty or 'poor quality' as this customer infers here, then why didn't she share these views with us at the beginning of March when she received it. I think its down to the fact that they are not poor quality at all and that this lady is merely trying to exact some sort of petty revenge because I didn't bend to her demands. You see, customer service is appalling when you don't get your own way. Had I replied and said to this lady, 'of course you can have a refund', then we wouldn't be having this conversation now.

Paypal also agree with us as they didn't even notify me that an issue was raised. They simply didnt give her the time of day and closed the case in our favour. This says all you need to know about this case.

The facts are that this product was good quality for the price she paid (£4.19 plus free delivery!!!) and the fact she waited 6 weeks to let us know anything is testament to that. I can only presume this lady has damaged the ring accidently herself and trying to blame us for it. I am glad Paypal saw common sense and could see through it all.

Beware!
The bracelet was very poor quality, so poor that I could not give it as a gift. I returned it a day later in its original condition and packaging. Darby Prichards insisted that they have not received it, so I certainly would not recommend this company and their a customer service. Such a pity.

We have 100's of reviews on here saying how lovely this bracelet is. People understand that they are only spending £6.75 on it which includes us posting it to you. The item is good quality and there are lots of 5 star reviews on here testament to that fact.

In regards to your return. Even though your initial email was very much the same tone as this spiteful and nasty review, I replied courteously to you to let you know the returns procedure. You then hounded our inbox asking why you hadn't received a refund. When I said to you we haven't received it back and asked you for a tracking number, you very rudely told me you didn't send it tracked and you sent it only 1st class. I advised again that we haven't received it and that if you had proof of postage, you could go to Royal Mail and they would refund you up to £20. As this bangle was only £6.75 there was no issue with that and they would have done so.

I put it to you that you never returned this bangle at all and if you did, you should have taken the necessary and proper steps to ensure it was received back with us properly.

I feel your spiteful 1 star review says so much more about you and the type of person you are then it does about us.

The fact is simple, if you aren't happy with a product, return it within 14 days and we will refund it. You have done none of this and so therefore we cannot refund.
