We ordered were charged twice for the order, got an error message you were experiences problems. No one go chat with, we sent an email. Bottom line can’t find the order,offered no help in rectifying the order nada. This is the third time with issues relating to orders, shipping and abysmal customer service help.

Unbelievable customer service
I received an order of scallops a day late, not because of D’Artagnan, but because of FedEx. Needless to say the package and its contents were thawed and warm. I let D’Artagnan know of the problem and within 1 hour I received a total refund and an apology. I’ve ordered from them before and had excellent results. With customer service like that how can you go wrong.
What a shame
What a shame. D’Artagnan was once a precious source for high quality goods. No longer. My guess, is that the “good stuff” goes to restaurants, and the bad stuff goes to online customers. I will never order from them again.

We are on the side of great customer service, although there are plenty of disasters. We ordered a cassoulet kit, paid the priority overnight premium shipping ($65+)!
Sadly, no delivery on the day. Fedex gave me a new version of their sad story. This time, the shipped had (used an incomplete shipping address and Fedex could not find us). Well, days later, I managed to retrieve the missing package. Guess what? Th ship label was perfect. I sent a photo and my story to D, and two days later received a refund!
GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE D!!! Ruined dinner party, but not your fault. I hadn’t even asked for a refund. Was just hoping D would lean on Fedex, because this delivery failur is not unusual.

The promise of overnight delivery is something they don't stand by. I had a delivery scheduled for overnight and the company uses FedEx. I called up (because nobody responded to my online support ticket) to complain that nothing had arrived - the excuse from the agent was that FedEx couldn't handle the volume. Nothing was sent saying it wouldn't arrive on time. I asked that my account be closed as our event was ruined by the delivery not arriving as promised. Never received any follow-up to my support ticket or any communication apologizing that they dropped the ball. Moving on....
D’artaganan Redemption …
I have to give D’artaganam the credit they are due! I received my Green Circle Turkey two days ago in a beat up box with holes on the top and disintegrating thermal wrap around the inside and ice packs completely melted and slimy.There was water ruining out and the outer box was saturated I wrote to both D’artaganan and Fed Ex complaining. I have pictures I could post to support this disaster. However, just this afternoon a new box from D’artaganan arrived and inside there was a solid styrofoam cooler with six still frozen ice packs and a brand new thoroughly chilled 16–18 pound Green Circle Turkey. I never received a text from them telling me what they were doing! I planned on buying another turkey at the grocery store today. Thank you “D” for standing up for your product and delivery. I am grateful
Terrible performance and customer service
I just tried D’Artagnan food service for the first time ordering a very expensive heritage turkey for Thanksgiving. This also included a $111 shipping charge. I received notices yesterday, on the day that it was to be delivered that the shipping was delayed. The next day, today, I received notice that delivery is still delayed because essentially D’Artagnan forgot to ship it out of the warehouse . It will now arrive three days late, possibly too late for me to use for Thanksgiving. This order cost over $450. their only response was to offer to pay for some shipping on a future order, provided the future order was more than $125. Terrible service and disregard for the customers.
Their website sucks
Their website sucks. I had the full cart of products which was nullified after it asked me to login. And, that's on top of being overpriced and under delivered.

Disappointing
I adore the duck, particularly their duck breasts. However, I recently ordered the full fresh foie gras and rendered so much fat that by the time the foie gras was finished, there was so little left to prepare a mi-cuit foie gras. At $149 dollars for just a tiny bit, we could barely provide a decent portion for four people. We have cooked mi-cuit for years, and this experience was extremely mediocre.

I'm a chef and I order foie gras aux torchon.
It's not a foie gras but a duck mouse and very poor quality product.
Purchase 2 of them and just put one in the freezer.
I also order Frozen Tuna and came defrost, I call them and they say freeze back. None sense.

I odered frozen veal chops. They were delivered completely thawed. They must know their packaging is inadequate because they' put a flier in their package that says kj "the FDA frozen meat if delivered thawed can be safely frozen.." Yes it is safe, but it tastes like dirty snow....

Well I’m impressed with the D’artagnans…
Well I’m impressed with the D’artagnans big brekkie it had sausage/ hash browns scrambled eggs / bacon / mushrooms /bake beans and I got a pot of tea total $ 32.00 not only were the staff very welcoming and friendly the food was delicious well cooked , I had to leave half of my breakfast behind as I could not fit an other thing in. I will try this cafe again

Honestly, if you want to enjoy high quality products (beef, lamb, pork, duck, foie gras, chicken, quails, venison, and so on and so forth), don't lose your time, log in the website of d'Artagnan. and then begin the adventure of discovering extraordinary products that do not exist anywhere else. Everyone is extremely professional and kind. The best customer service that resolves your issues in the shortest possible time.
I love shopping on this website and I recommend it with my eyes closed.

I have generally enjoyed their products however, I bought some veal chops that were as poor of quality as possible. They were butchered up so badly, I throw them out! I did reach out to them twice and twice- No Response! Yes I have pictures and the package lot number.
From this experience, I will never buy any products ever again!! Never!

The duck confit is not what it was. Have ordered these several times over many years. Regrettably, the last 2 orders have been a big disappointment---dry and without much flavor.
Will be looking for a different source.
D'Artagnan Customer Service - The Nightmare from Hell
My brother was kind enough to order from COSTCO, a great company, a $130.00 food package from D'Artagnan. The package was shorted a single item. After 5 emails and 5 phone calls nothing was resolved; a most miserable customer service department in which, no human being can make anything actually happen! "RUN YOU IN CIRCLES"
Regarding the actual food, it was OK but nothing spectacular! I looked at their website, I think it is highly over-priced meat products which are visually promoted with software enhanced photos and wordy commentary; the actual food you receive does not live up to the website's visual display and artistry.
Shop locally and support your own community. Take a local drive and learn about your neighborhood - yes, the good old days before the on-line invasion.
UPDATE: Ok let's be fair - as of today 1/6/23 I received the food items that were missing from the original order. With that said I'll change my rating to a 2 star. Perhaps they mailed the items because I called COSTCO. Well, all is remedied.
Death smell…
It doesnt just smell a lil sour...it legit smells of death. This was rancid BEFORE it froze. The 2 stars is for actually sending the order overnight.
