Took my money. No product shipped.
Order a keyboard for my daughter. A week later and no update on when it will be shipped. Have raised a ticket. No response. Have called only to get "we cannot accept calls from your location".
Disgraceful service.
Great seller, great prices
I ordered a discounted item which was at an excellent price. After ordering, I found communication quite difficult to get immediate help as the team are working with a skeleton crew, but they were helpful through the use of email. They were really helpful and they were able to keep me updated. Delivery took longer than expected but was worth the wait, considering the amazing price of the guitar. Am really happy over all.
FENDER JAGUAR
I ordered a Fender Jaguar at a ridiculously low price fron Dawsons, I was a little worried after the Company had been acquired recently after administration, but took the gamble. The bizarre thing is that none of the phone lines are functional when trying to check/chase up the order but customer service reply fairly promptly to emails.
Anyway my worries were foundless, the guitar arrived 8 days later in a sealed Fender box. It was untouched, brand new, with protective films and a sealed bag with documents and allen keys.
I guess Dawsons must be dumping stock to achieve these prices, but I'm so pleased with the guitar and the really low price.

Selling USED items as new
Shocked to receive a USED possibly ex-demo digital piano that I paid full price for and expected to be new. Have just about got a refund, but feels like it's been a lot of hard work to return it. Wouldn't ever buy from this company again.
Purchased a NEW item - received a USED item. NO response to many emails and calls.
I purchased a NEW item from their website 8 days ago (18/11/21) and a parcel arrived next day. However, I was sent a USED item in a tatty box and with some contents missing. I emailed the company immediately on each of the many email addresses they have (4 it seems for customer service/returns/advice etc.) but with absolutely no response at all from any of them now for a whole week. Tried calling by telephone today (26/11/21), again to 4 different numbers, but these simply disconnect once a keypad option is selected. Short of driving to the shop (some 300mles away!) to see what's going on, I'm now faced with the prospect of raising a claim with my credit card company for a breach of contract claim. What's really galling is that today they are currently promoting items for sale as part of a Black Friday event, so they are still actively selling. I should have read the recent Facebook reviews before my purchase last week as they do seem to paint a bleak picture. The company might be struggling presently it seems, but this level of service seems outright deceitful and wholly unacceptable, even if they are in financial trouble.

Garbage... i have used these guys twice first order i was sent Cymbal that were obviously display ones full of marks and not in proper packaging, but i though id give them another go bought a guitar and i wait a week and receive an email saying my guitar amplifier is not in stock?????? i ordered a guitar not amp??? what a waste of my time

Been trying to return faulty goods, none of the phone lines work, and no replies to emails. In fact ZERO positive response. Doing a bit a research it shows the companies gone into administration, with staff redundancies and shop closures . Maybe their just dumping stock, so like me your struggle to return faulty goods, or get your money back, if i was you don't buy off this company , and if you do use a credit card , as you might be covered? Good luck. Seems to me theirs going to be a lot of very unhappy xmas ppl. Blame the administrators for not being up front and open, about the limitations of this company in relationship to a meaningful guarantee. Good luck, and at your risk " no "sale of goods act" here" once again the consumer pays.
Noticed all the recent 5 star reviews are from people whom have ever only done one review , like me . But 4, 5 star reviews in a row , really!!!! Ya right. One says they rung a number , ha ha ha YES doing a number on the public !!! Where trading standards , TV on, working from home, Joke!!!

Emailed and Roger from the Chester store emailed back with his mobile number. We chatted, I travelled over from Liverpool and bought the item - couldn't be happier.
Roger couldn't have been more accommodating to my exacting requirements and even helped to load it into my car.
Great job - people are often too quick to complain we should be as quick to say well done. The store looks great and great to get back into a real shop again.

Excellent, easy experience
Ordered a Telecaster on Sunday at 5pm, then read the recent Trust Pilot reviews and was a bit worried. Delivered Tuesday at 9am, no problems at all - I’m delighted with my purchase.
Never came so had to cancel order

Unacceptable service of refund
I placed the order on your website on 22/09 and as your website says this should have arrived by 30/09. But not until end of September had you advised that my order did not come through successfully due to your system issue, so I queried several times regarding when would be the new dispatch date however there was no clear response on that, or even a rough time frame could be provided, as a matter of urgency I purchased one in a local store nearby on 04/10, at the same time an email was also sent to advise cancellation of my order, this has been received and confirmed by yourself.
Unfortunately and surprisingly your guitar arrived on 06/10 but obviously this was no longer needed, I have been chasing the refund since then and now this has been almost 2 months but still no collection service provided, this is ridiculous and unacceptable, please collect the guitar asap and refund the money.

Truly appalling service!
Truly appalling service!! I ordered a guitar and received an audio interface, assuming this to be a one off mistake I patiently awaited arrival of my order, when it arrived it was dusty with a broken knob and damage to the body (not from transit). I later tried to arrange a warranty for a keyboard, no help as they said they were now a new company. The new company has now gone kaput and the new, new company is blathering on about the their history since 1898, with which they have no connection. We can do without this kind of rubbish in the music retail world!! GRRRR
